Change,
Everything you are
And everything you were
Your number has been called
Fights and battles have begun
Revenge will surely come
Your hard times are ahead

Asuma came back from being at the border for a year. Kakashi and Genma joined him because there time was done also. Kakashi was anxious to get home, you could see it in his tense shoulders and the way he rushed everything, but Asuma and Genma understood, he was trying to get back to his wife, Sakura. Genma just followed along because he wanted to hit the bar and start hitting on the woman, and Asuma wanted to get back to see a particular former-student of his.

Best,
You've got to be the best
You've got to change the world
And use this chance to be heard
Your time is now

"Asuma-sensei!" Ino shouted and jumped over the counter of her mom's flower shop to run to the smoking-nin and gave him a hug. Asuma returned the hug and drank in the scent of her hair, black-raspberry and vanilla. "Ino, don't call me sensei, and I have something to tell you."

Change,
Everything you are
And everything you were
Your number has been called
Fights and battles 've begun
Revenge will surely come
Your hard times are ahead

"What is it Se- Sarutobi?" Ino covered up almost saying sensei smoothly, and was nervous about what she deemed 'important' news.

Best,
You've got to be the best
You've got to change the world
And use this chance to be heard
Your time is now

"Ino, I-I have feelings for you."

Don't,
Let yourself down
And don't let yourself go
Your last chance has arrived

"Oh, Asuma, I- I don't know-" She was cut off when Asuma's cigarette dropped to the ground and he pressed his lips to hers, his beard tickling her chin. She soon joined the kiss and when they broke apart she smiled and said, "Hungry?"

Best,
You've got to be the best
You've got to change the world
And use this chance to be heard
Your time is now

They were inside that Korean Bar-B-Q place that Chouji always took them too. They sat across from each other, watching each other eat there food, while their unoccupied hands were interlinked on top of the table. And they both knew at that time it was the start of something new.

A/N: I was really disappointed to find out of all the ratings, there were only two stories on this couple, and I enjoyed them both. But now there are three! So to my fellow out there, if you like this couple could you find in your heart enough inspiration to write a story about it? I would greatly appreciate it! Until next time...
