A/N: This is just a really short story, just to see how…imaginative or rational you guys are. Thanks to boredGOTH for the idea.
Sasuke walked up the steps leading to Naruto's room. He felt like training, but he'd need a partner to compete against.
He was known for his competitive streak.
He reached Naruto's room and was just about to knock, when he heard Hinat's soft voice. He stopped and listened.
"N-N-Naruto-kun," she sounded…apprehensive. Not to mention nervous. "A-a-are you s-sure y-y-you want to d-do this?"
"Don't worry," Naruto said in a soothing, calming voice. "I'm pretty sure I do. But I could ask you the same question. It might hurt, you know."
"I-I-I g-guess…"
"Just tell me if I'm going too fast." There was a pause. Sasuke could hear the creak of bedsprings. His sweat poured down.
What the heck are they going to do in there?
"And, don't worry." Naruto added after a while. "I'll try to be as gentle as possible."
"Um…o-okay."
There was silence for a few minutes. Sasuke leaned closer, in the hopes of hearing better. Suddenly, he heard Hinata groan in pain.
"N-N-Naruto-kun." She gasped, breathing hard. "I-I'm n-n-not sure I-I w-w-want to continue."
Silence again. Suddenly, she shrieked in pain. Sasuke gripped the doorknob tightly. He was really tempted to open the door.
She shrieked again. "Naruto-kun, please…"
Naruto seemed to be struggling. "Calm down." Sasuke heard him mutter. "I can't do this properly if you keep wiggling."
"Wait!" She screamed. "You-you're going t-too fast!"
"Sasuke-kun!"
Sasuke whipped around. Haruno Sakura was standing there, looking pretty confused.
"How long have you been standing there?" He asked in whispered tones.
"Long enough to hear almost everything you heard." She whispered back. "What the heck are they doing in there?"
He shrugged. They could hear the creak of bedsprings, like someone was struggling.
Suddenly, Naruto burst out; "That's it! I am pulling it out right NOW!"
Hinata's pained screams rang out. "Owowow! N-Naruto-kun…" she gasped and moaned in pain.
Sakura and Sasuke looked at each other, panic shown clearly on their faces.
"Hey." Sasuke jumped at the sound of Kakashi's voice, causing his hand to jerk. The door swung open, and they all tumbled in.
Immediately, Sasuke and Sakura shut their eyes.
"G-gomen, Naruto-kun, Hinata-san!" Sakura said quickly. We didn't mean to barge in on you guys like this!"
"What are you doing anyway?" Sasuke asked, not really wanting to know the answer.
"Why don't you two see for yourself?" Kakashi asked, a bit amused.
Sasuke and Sakura slowly opened their eyes.
Hinata was sitting on a small stool in front of Naruto's bed. Naruto was looking at them with a puzzled expression. Naruto's fingers were covered in what looked like pink gunk. It was attached to Hinata's hair in pink strings.
"G-gum?" Sasuke said, looking at it.
"Yeah," Naruto said, looking at him like he had gone nuts. "I was trying to remove it from her hair. Why?"
Sasuke gulped. Sakura giggled nervously.
"Oh, nothing…" she said. "Bye." She ran out of there with Sasuke hot on her heels.
Naruto watched them unblinkingly.
"What's with them?"
Kakashi shrugged. "I guess they just misinterpreted the sounds you guys were making." He looked at the gum in her hair.
"Want me to help with that?"
