I knew you would be in pain
I knew you would change
But I never knew that someday
You will fade away
I fell in love with you that night
You were my light
You led me out of the darkness
You made life seem painless
I knew it would hurt you
But I just continue
To walk away
Acting like I have nothing to say
Watching you is what I do sometimes
you would sit there and cry
you would lie
and say you are fine
You turn your back
For your own sake
So you do not have to face the pain
When I come back again
I pretend
That it's not the end
You are right
In our next life
We will meet again
But there shall be no pain
No tears
Or fears
