Déjà vu

When Jack and Rai first saw each other, they both got this nagging feeling in the back of their minds. For some unknown reason the other had seemed so familiar, but just couldn't place it. It was like a far off dream, skirting on the edges. All most there, but not quite. Always reaching, but never grabbing a hold of that something.
There was something there, some hidden emotionthat neither of them could quite name. But when they had looked in each others eyes, there had been something familiar there. Each time that Jack and Rai were in the same vicinity, that nagging feeling would grow stronger and stronger. The one day, something most curious had happened.
A new Shen Gong Wu had appeared. They all clamored to get to it first, but Rai had got there before they did. His fingers ever so slightly touching Jack's. In that instant, a jolt ran through them and visions flashed before their eyes.
Sweat.
Hot, rumpled sheets.
Heavy breathing.
Red hair against white pillows.
Emerald eyes glazed in passion.
Tight heat. Rythmic motions.
Lust.
Love.
And as fast as this images and feeling came, they were gone. Jack and Rai looked up and their cheeks had a faint blush to them. Their breathing had sped up. They stared at each other for what seemed like eternity, trying to figure things out. Once they had regained their composure, Rai asked,
"Did you just get a sense of déjà vu?"
"Yes. Like we've met before all of this," came Jack's reply.
But before they could delve deeper into the meaning of this, a challenge had been called.
"Xiaolin showdown! Gong Yi Ten Pi!"
A/N: Okay, so what do you think? I couldn't exactly remember the first time that Jack and Raimundo fought, so I didn't get into details. This is my first attempt at XS fan fiction, so I hope this was good.
