"Just out of political curiosity how much trouble is it going to cause you if I knock this Woolsey guy in the head?" John began, as he stalked into Elizabeth's office and began pacing. I hate the fact that I want, need, to punch that Woolsey guy out.
"And may I ask you why you'd like to do that?" Elizabeth asked. Because he is making you look like you are incapable of leading Atlantis.
"It's just an impulse I had with him, one I suspect I am going to have again next time I see him." John said, pausing before continuing. "He may not even have to say anything." I hate the way you are being treated.
"I've never seen you like this. What did Woolsey say to you?" Elizabeth questioned.
"Oh, besides judging every damn decision you've ever made?" John answered, still pacing her office. I hate the fact that you are being judged on every decision you have made in these past two years.
"John Sheppard, are you defending my honour?" I think I am.
"And judging me for agreeing with you." John fumed. Because he is trying to get you taken from the project, taken from me.
"Well, don't be too hard on him. I think of all the circling wolves, he's the least likely to actually bite. In fact he might actually convince the others to leave us alone." John took a seat in front of her desk. Convince the others to leave us alone? Leave us alone?
"Alright, so err, no head knocking." Elizabeth shook her head. Punching Woolsey would not help, but I can't help but think it would make me feel a whole lot better.
"It's the thought that counts." Elizabeth replied. The thought of you?
