I hope that got your attention because it needs to. this story is not a Yu Yu Hakusho story, but I figured the story lines were more similar than any other anime and there is no section for original stories. I hope that doesn't make you not wanna read it > lol.

The Life of a Gem
Chapter 1 (maybe…)
"It's been two days now and we STILL don't have anything on those two girls… Damn Yuko… Sendin' us on a mission with nothing but a picture of ONE girl. Not even both girls!" Shinichi mumbled continuously beneath his breath, his thoughts were quickly interrupted at the sound of a large amount of people up ahead. Lifting his gaze from the ground to the remainder of the sidewalk in front of him, his eyes fell upon a moving truck filled with a mess of large boxes and carrying them into the house nearby.
Out front were two younger-looking girls that appeared to be no older than 16 or 17 years of age. Their height was the same, appearing to stand at about 5 feet or so and both kept their hair short with one slightly shorter than the other. The one on the right was petite and skinny with a cute and sweet appearance, while the one on the left, still being quite slender, was slightly thicker in most areas and was looking pretty ticked off at the time.
"It should not take five hours to move one box, ONE, into the living room when FIVE people are carrying it!"
The petite one replied, "Well… it IS a really heavy and a REALLY big box… I don't think if YOU took one of those mens' places it would go any faster."
"Are you calling me weak…?" She eyed the second with an annoyed look plastered on her face.
"No. Just incapable."
Just as the one on the left was about to snap back in her frustration, Shinichi decided to step in. He had had his fair share of arguments with his classmates, and if either of them was anything like he was, he figured it might get ugly… "Umm… excuse me…?"
At the same moment, both of their attentions turned towards the teenage boy, eagerly awaiting what their conversation had been interrupted for.
"Uh, hey! Are you two moving in here?" The both of them froze for a moment before nodding in sync.
"Well then, it's a pleasure to meet'cha! I'll be your next door neighbor. Name's Shinichi Kaiden," He flashed them a cheesy smile, gently flicking his thumb across his nose.
