Harry James Potter was no ordinary boy. He had no parents. He had no sibilings. (So he thought)
He lived with his aunt and uncle and his cousin dudley. one day Harry received a letter. "thats odd." He said quietly to himself. He was to turn 11 in just afew days. This is another reason why Harry wasn't ordinary. He didn't like his birth day. Not only that...he was a wizard. Harry walked in the kichen and gave the post to his uncle. "Dad! harry's got a letter!" yelled Dudley. Harry tryed to run but dudley grabbed him an tore the letter in half. "look what you did you ugly pig!" said Harry. vernon locked harry in the cobord ubder the stairs with out any food for a week. with in the next few days more letters started to come. Vernon moved Harry to the smallest bedroom in the house. It drove harry mad not knowing what the letters said. one day letter flew in the house like crazy. "Thats it! We are leaving this house! Now!" said Vernon. The hut was small harry was to lay on the floor. He looked at dudly's wach. 10 minutes 'till he's 11. He bagan to draw a cake in the sand on the floor. he looked again. 30 seconds. He thought he heard footsteps. "Who's there?" he asked. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2...BOOM. Harry jumped. Someone had knocked down the door. He froze. The man was really tall and looked like he could snap even Vernon in half. next to him was a smaller figure. His aunt and uncle ran down. Dudly was already up against the wall. The man amd the other figure stepped in to the dull light. The other figure was a girl nught but a year older then Harry. " 'ello there Harry." said the man. harry jumped.
"Sorry but I don't know you, sir." He said. The girl was staring at the durslys in descust.
" oh! Sorry 'bout that. I'm-" he stopped. The girl tugged on his jacket, wispering some thing to him. "alright I'll wait. I'm rubeus Hagrid. jus' call me Hagrid. I'm the games keeper at hogwarts...'corse you know all 'bout hogwarts." he said. Harry looked at him.
"Sorry, but I don't." He said. Hagrid turned to the durslys and shot them a nasty look.
"You mean to tell me you haven't got your letter?" he said looking back as harry and lighting a fire. "you will not tell him sir! Now kindly leave!" said Vernon. Hagrid looked at him.
"Who's gonna stop me? Surly not a grate muggle like your self?" he said. harry looked at him.
"Muggle?" he said confused. This time the girl spoke. "Uh...Hagrid you might want to tell him what he is so you can explain the term 'muggle' to him." "What I am?" He said. Vernon protested The girl shot him nasty looks and he shut up. Hagrid walked over to him. " your a wizard Harry." he said.
