The Truth Will Out
Missing scene: "Mind Games"

The front door of the Hoover building opened, and two agents walked out into the waning sunlight. They were headed for the deli down the street to make a dinner run for the team. The darker of the two turned to his blond colleague.
"Ok, we're outside the building and out of earshot of anyone who might blab. So what do you really think of Wayne?"
Myles gave the older man a sideways glance. "He's a self-serving twit who hasn't got a clue what he's doing?"
Dimitrius grinned. "You know, if it weren't for that last little tag on the end..."
The Harvard grad acknowledged the shot graciously, then shrugged. "Figure there's little sense in getting on their bad side immediately. Habit, I guess." Myles shot his good friend a half-smile. "Though, he's definitely one you could make an exception for."
D laughed. "Yeah, well, it's a bad habit."
"Still, I should use it now while I can," Myles quipped. "Because I know it won't work with you."
The older agent sighed as they neared the deli. "I'm starting to think you don't need to be holding your breath for that circumstance."
"Oh, come on, D." Myles held the door open. "Just because some newbie snowed the brass, doesn't mean you're out of the running. Wayne will screw up, and the brass will see that you've been holding us together the whole time, and they'll finally make it official."
"You know, you're getting pretty good at the kiss-up routine, no matter who you're talking to." Dimitrius eyed him warily.
A blond brow went up in tandem with a smirk. "Is it working?"
"Not a chance." D chuckled to himself as Myles placed the rather extensive order and got them each an iced tea while they waited.
