Chapter 1
Shawn Xavier ran into his father's space shuttle. Victor was at a press conference in downtown Brooklyn, leaving Shawn with Susan and Johnny Storm.
"Johnny, open up. I need to talk with Sue. It's about Victor. I'm a mutant; these wings make me sweat, even during winter snow storms. Sue!" Shawn said, turning into a werewolf and scratched at the door.
Susan opened the door and ushered Shawn inside. Shawn hugged Sue and said, "Victor is going to kill me. I graduated with my doctorate in science, but I'm going to teach at grandfather's school. I'm going to live in the Baxter with you and Reed once this is over with."
Dr. Reed Richards and Ben Grimm arrived next, followed by a very pissed Victor von Doom.
"Vic, how do you expect me to take over Von Doom Industries? My last name is Xavier, not Von Doom. I'm becoming a science teacher and a mutant rights advocate." Shawn proudly said before walking to his seat in the shuttle
The shuttle docked at the space station and the six crew members walked into the control center.
Shawn followed Sue, Ben, and Johnny towards the airlock, leaving Reed and Victor alone in the control center.
Beeping from a computer in the control center warned everyone that the cosmic storm was approaching sooner than Reed hoped.
I hope I make it out alive, I have a commitment to the X-Men and my grandfather. I want to see Rogue's smiling face one more time. Shawn thought as he braced for impact.
The storm hit Shawn head on, knocking him and everyone else, even Victor, out cold.
