Disclaimer : I do not own the character, nor the plot. It's all J.K.Rowling's…
The Dark Lord's reign has ended. He has been killed by the Chosen One, just as the prophecy predicted.
He will no longer create chaos and fear among the wizards, nor will the muggle-borns be afraid that each day may be their last.
He will not be reborn by any faithful servants, for he is dead.
All that he has fought for has been ruined in a matter of seconds. He is no longer feared.
The reign of chaos has ended. The reign of peace has just begun.
All Death Eaters are either tracked down by the Aurors, or safely locked in Azkaban. None are free, no matter how innocent or rich they are believed.
Truth has won.
Good has once again triumphed over Evil.
No longer shall the wizards be afraid to demonstrate their affection for muggles, for he is no longer alive.
The Dark Lord has been defeated.
Wizards all over the world will remember this day, for it will go down in history.
The day every witch and wizard have united their forces to triumph over havoc, to win the battle, to have once again a merry day.
To be able to see the sun rise without fearing it set down.
Without awaiting in anticipation for the last minute of the day to be over and to thank the gods that you were able to live for yet another day.
And then, fear the next day to come, the next journey to be ended.
Evil roamed the roads, looking for a weak heart to break, always thirsty for more blood and pain.
Everyone will now be able to believe that hope is indeed the greatest gift humanity could have, whether it's in the magical world or not,
Always witches and wizards will be thankful to Harry Potter, the Chosen One, for bringing happiness in their lives once more, to scare away Evil.
But in truth, they will have to thank themselves.
For if it weren't for them, he would never have known about the magical world, never had truly known about the place he belonged.
He wouldn't have found out about his parents, and would have had nothing motivate him to fight Voldemort.
Dumbledore was right when he had said that love was one thing that could defeat Voldemort.
For the Dark Lord has never experienced it, never tasted it. And therefore, he couldn't bear for it to live.
But one who knows what love is, one who has tasted himself in it, he can truly feel its power.
A power that unites us, for love is the strongest bond.
The Dark Lord had wanted power. He had claimed he had it. And yet, he has been defeated by a power he had never had.
The power to be able to love.
And now, he is dead, and never will experience it.
The prophecy has been fulfilled.
I just had the urge to write something about Voldemort's defeat. I hope this isn't too bad.
I don't know how the seventh book will end, but I can say that I'm a great supporter of Good.
R&R if you want.
