ONE LAST TIME
Disclaimer-I don't own much of anything…..
"Lily…." James Potter called down the corridor.
"What now Potter?" replied the aggravated Lily Evans.
"Please, Lily, please just give me one chance to say it. Everything I've wanted to say. Once last time?" He said
Lily had a skeptical look, but finally agreed "Fine. One last time."
"Lily, you are beautiful. You are amazing. You are smart, you are funny. You are everything I have ever dreamed of…." James was cut off suddenly
"And you are extremely corny, and acting very strange."
"Lily…" James pleaded. She rolled her eyes, sighed, and nodded. "You're my life. I dream about you every night. I think about you always. Your laugh is like music to me, and your screams and cries are practically murder. Lily, you are everything to me, and I wish you could see that. Please foirgive me for all that I've done to upset you. I have tried to change, tried to act mature. I really did Lily. I'm only going to say it once more. This is the one last time." He paused dramatically.
"Do you swear this will be the last time?"
"I promise Lily, I swear"
"Well then go on, get it over with."
"Lily Evans, will you go out with me?" you would have thought that he was asking her to marry him based on the speech, but as mush of his future was on the line, just by asking her out on one date. Slowly, she smiled, and nodded.
"Yes, yes I will."
"Really?" asked James unwilling to believe his own ears.
"Yes, really." She said. James couldn't help his squeal of glee, nad was glad his friends weren't around to make fun of him. Lily laughed a bit. "Hey James?"
Suddenly James was looking at Lily, a totally serious expression on his face. "yeah?"
"Since when did you go all sappy and romantic?"
"Since I decided that there was only going to be one last time"

I have to thank my father for the idea for the title, and the story spawned from the title….some frown on that, but I really don't care right now, because I'm so proud of myself for actually writing it. I swear I have about 3 brilliant ideas a week, but I never write any of them, thenm I forget them…..this isn't my very best idea, but I think its pretty good.
