Kagome knew why InuYahsa was acting so strangely. Kikyo was nearby.
InuYasha walked into the forest that night after everyone had gone to bed. He smelled grave soil. It was Kikyo. He walked in the direction of the scent.

But it keeps avoiding me

Coz' it seems that wrong

InuYasha stopped walking. He turned around and thought of how Kagome felt.
And I know that she knows I'm unfaithful
And it kills her inside
To know that I am happy with some other guy

He thought of how Kagome's eyes always looked lifeless whenever he left her, whereas Kikyo's eyes were always lifeless.

InuYasha saw Kikyo coming toward him. He didn't want to see her anymore. He turned and bounded off to where Kagome was. Kikyo just stood there.

InuYasha got to the camp that they had set up earlier. He kept running until he got to where Kagome was. He ran over to her and hugged her. Kagome woke with a start in InuYasha's arms. She looked up at him and he kissed her.
