Chapter 2 – Tonight, Tonight
The honest truth is that she probably knew I liked her, at least. She didn't know I loved her, and I knew that much. I've tried to hold her hand before. There also was one time at a party Maho had where she laid on my stomach. I also distinctly remember at Sakura's house where she was cuddling with me. There is one thing that she did though that caused me to realize I did love her. We were heading home after school one and she looked really, really sad. So I walked over and I hugged her and she really hugged me in a way that made me freeze. It caused my heart to stop beating and it made me blush. It felt wonderful and I always wanted to be by her side after that hug… I don't know if she remembers it as clearly as me, but it was amazing to me.
