Hello guys here I am again writing another fic. This one has been floating around in my head for the last 3 months and I don't want to lose it. So I've decided to start it. Just a heads up but this story barely follows btvs and Angel.

Riley & Buffys Apartment

"Riley honey can you put the clothes in the dryer..I don't have time to switch things over before I have to head to the hospital to meet with mom and dawn." Buffy said shouting from the master bedroom.

"Yeah. No problem. Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" Buffy smiled to herself Riley had been there for her nonstop since her moms cancer diagnosis. Going with Joyce Buffy and dawn to every appointment and being there for Buffy emotionally well as much as she would let him that is. "Riley I'll be fine anyway I would like to have some quality Buffy, Mom and dawn time. " she smiled at him and he grabbed her by the waist and started kissing her mouth. "Well what about when you get back you and I have some quality Buffy and Riley time in our brand new bed?" Buffy smiled at him and kissed him back this time deepening the kiss "That is definitely now on my list of things to do today."

The Summers house

Dawn was in her room reading her newest book that Joyce let her get from Barns and Noble. She had grown out of reading Little kid fairytale stories and was now into reading more mature topics. "Dawn," Joyce called from the kitchen. "Come down and eat something before we leave please. I don't want you just eating things from that vending machine!" Dawn put her book down and headed towards the kitchen. She knew today was going to be along day it always was on the days mom went to the hospital but at least she had her books and Buffy to keep her company and sometimes if she got real Lucky Xander would show up without Anya and they would have some good talks. Before dawn could make it fully into the kitchen there was a knock on the door. "I got it!!!" Dawn yelled from the last step. Opening the door standing there were two little girls both with Sandy blonde hair but different color eyes. One had blue eyes and the other had these very serious brown chocolate eyes. The one with the blue eyes was clearly the older sister seeing how she was much taller then the brown eyed and seemed to be holding her hand in away to show she was the boss. "Can I help you girls?" The taller of the two girls twisted her mouth to the side and looked down at the younger one. The younger of the two took a deep breath. "Yeah. We are looking for Buffy O'Br- Wait Buffy Summers." The little girl said sheepishly as her face turned a shade of red. "Oh Umm Buffy doesn't live here anymore, is there anything I can do to help?" The girls both looked a little defeated" could you possibly tell us where she moved ?" Dawn looked at the two girls they seemed harmless enough but this was sunnydale for all she knew they could be demons in the form of little children. "How about you leave your names and I'll let her know you both stopped by." The youngest girl let out a deep sigh " Is there another day that she'll be here? Or can't you just call her on the phone and tell her to hurry up and get here!?" There was urgency in her voice "Dawn I told you-" Joyce stopped talking as soon as her eyes landed on their two small visitors. "Are you girls lost?" She said both girls slightly went pale at the sight of Joyce "ummm no actually…we were just leaving!" The older girl said and yanked her younger girl in the direction of the road. "Friends of yours?" Joyce asked with a teasing grin "umm hello I'm 14 not 6 mom, anyway they were here looking for Buffy." Dawn said with a tone of annoyance in her voice. "What would they want with Buffy?" "They didn't say but I wouldn't be surprised if they came back."

At the hospital

Joyce had just been wheeled back for another biopsy. It would take the dr's at least 2 hours to get it all done. So Buffy and Dawn would have to figure out away to entertain themselves. "So how's the living with Riley going? Throw any crazy parties or do you guys just stay up all night and talk and watch movies!?" Buffy glanced over at dawn "umm no" dawn feeling awkward slowly shakes her head "yeah I'm just going to be quite now…wait! I forgot to tell you two little kids showed up at the house looking for you." "Did they say what they wanted?" Dawn slowly shook her head no "it just seemed kinda urgent to them." "That's weird but it's sunnydale so who knows." They spent the rest of their time looking at magazines and talking about what was going on in their lives. When Joyce finally got out they cuddled close with their mother and talked to her in hushed tones as loud noses made her head hurt. "Buddy why don't you take dawn home tonight. I'll be fine here and I'll see you both in the morning" Buffy and dawn looked at each other "mom are your sure you do t want us to stay?" Dawn asked "yes I'm sure go home relax! Just don't get to crazy while I'm away." That made both girls smile and they leaned over and gave their mother a kiss and headed back to the Summers residence.

3 days later

Buffy had decided to stay with Joyce and dawn for the next two weeks just to make sure that dawn was able to make it to school on time and that Joyce was not over doing it with household chores and duties. "Buffy I'm so glad you are here it's nice having both my girls under my roof."Joyce smiled wide and took a sip of her tea. "Well I'm glad I'm able to make you happy mom. It's nice being home." Buffy walked over to her mom and gave her a hug. "I love you mom" she breathed in Joyce's scent "I love you too." The moment was broken when there was a loud knock in the door. Buffy and Joyce pull apart and Buffy heads towards the front door. She opens it to find two teenagers staring back at her a boy and a girl "Hey Dawns not here right now, she should be back-" before she could finish her sentence the boy cut her off "We are not looking for dawn, we are looking for our two younger Sisters…Shaylee and Ivy." The boy had a familiar idea about him that Buffy just couldn't put her finger on. He had deep serious brown eyes and dark hair while the girl had sandy blondy hair and hazel eyes. "Sorry I don't know who they are, have you tried-" but again before she could keep talking the boy interrupted "Look this is the only place they would have come! So if you have seen them or have them here you need to tell us!" Buffy immediately crossed her arms over her chest" Look I don't know your sisters haven't seen them. I also think you have the wrong house." She was close to shutting the door when the girl spoke up this time "Buffy! Listen this is going to sound really weird but you need to let us in….Shaylee and Ivy could be in serious trouble and you are the only one that can help…" here hazel eyes were pleading. "How do you know my name?" Buffy said a little taken back. The boy seemed to have calmed down and decided to speak up again "Buffy please we promise to explain everything once we find Shaylee and Ivy…" with it being daylight Buffy knew they couldn't be vampires but they could be demons. But they also seemed harmless enough and came off trusting. Buffy kept her guard up and gestured for the two to step inside. "Let's start with your names…" The two teens looked at each other. "I'm Liam and this is my sister Lilly"
