Chapter I
Expect The Unexpected

There she was a young girl of 17 sitting there on the sidewalk. The reason of why she is out there in the first place seemed like distant memories, soon to fade away. She was an outcast, a person people hated, a person people took out their anger on, a person who wanted to be free of this pain.
This young lady we talk of now is a girl named Kagome Higurashi.Her long raven hairflowing over her shoulders with her chocolate brown eyes reflecting the sorrow she felt.

Kagome sat there in the rain sprinkling lightly on her body. She was comprehending on whether she should go back home. 'Nah why should I? No ones going to miss me right? I doubt anyone would notice I was gone, but... my life is not going to get better if i don't find a place to stay. I have no money on me so...what should i do?' A confused look took over her face as Kagome tried to think of a way to get out of this certain problem oblivious to the man watching her.

"Excuse me miss, but are you in need of any assistance?" the mysterious man asked.

"Eh?" Startled Kagome jumped up on her feet and put a hand over her heart.

"Sorry for startling you. I just noticed you sitting in the rain here on the sidewalk and thought you were in some kind of trouble."

She just simply stared at the mysterious man before her still in a state of shock. Kagome was suprised at how handsome he looked with his amber colored eyes amd gleaming silver hair. She still just stood there looking at him as if he was the only human being on the earth left. It was starting to annoy him incredibly so he tried everything. He waved his hand infront of her face, but she didn't even blink. He poked her forehead, but still Kagome stayed in the same posistion as before. Finally he snapped his fingers in front of her ear and it seemed to take her out of her trance.

"Wha...huh? what just happened?"

"I don't know you just spaced out for a moment"

"Oh heh sorry that happens sometimes. Wait a secound its not my fault Mr.! Going around scaring people out of their wits! Whats up with that? You still havn't told me your name. What is it?" She asked eyes filled with curiosity.

He was slightly taken back with her mood swings. One secound she was sad,then she was mad and now she was all peppy.

"My name is Inutaisho Takahashi"
