Chapter 11 (Into the Unknown 1)
Alpha Base, Helipads, Zootopian World
The team composing of special forces, scientific research team with 5 different nationalities were already being brief regarding the investigation on the unknown that resemble to a nuclear facility.
They are preparing all of the necessary equipment for this operation and now they're are waiting for the go.
Meanwhile, the captain of this operation was watching at the distance. Observing his men and the couple of scientist that will participate, as they prepare to load their equipments at the 3 MH-53 Stallions.
"Please careful with that crate!" One of the scientist warned the Japanese and Russian soldier, that who was helping each other at the crates.
They both looked at the scientist before nooding in acknowledgement and then continue their current objective.
Various of warning from here and there from the helipad as the scientists continued to warned whoever's was carrying their equipments.
A Chinese soldier came to the Captain of the group and announced.
"Captain, Ramirez. Our equipment are loaded and secured at the Stallions, sir." The Chinese said.
Ramirez nod, this wasn't new to him talking to an Chinese soldier which he was thankful.
The U.N did their job to unite the whole planet, while the old superpowers throw aside their rivalry for the sake of greater good.
As he make his way along with the Chinese soldier at tow.
When he was at the from of the group, the soldiers stops and saluted.
"At ease." Ramirez ordered.
As they ceased their actions, all of them looked at him with questionable gazes as they wait for his next words.
"Is everything ready?" He asked, then a scientist in her mid 20's answered him.
"Yes, captain Ramirez." She said.
"Good. Well then everything is according to plan, let's move out!" He announced while giving a motion.
The group prepared for their departure, while the pilots of the Stallions, most of them are Americans obviously.
As the Stallion propellers slowly came to life, while creating a loud humming sounds.
"This is Gold Diggers. Requesting takeoff from helipad 3. How copy. Over?"
"Gold Diggers, this is Tower. We copy... You are cleared to takeoff, proceed to waypoint ZEBRA. How copy?"
"Gold Diggers, copies all. Many thanks."
"Roger that. Have a nice day, Godspeed."
After that, they began to takeoff one after another while creating a huge wind of dusts in the process.
Few hours later...
As the 3 Stallions already reach their destination which leave them in awe and shocked.
"The hell?"
"Looks like this was abandoned a decade or so, comrade."
"Only way to find out." Ramirez said as he stand out from his seat and make his way to the cockpit.
"Proceed to land." He ordered.
"Yes, sir!"
Meanwhile
Somewhere at the south of the abandoned facility were an open field with a group of teenagers compossing of 4 a Polar Bear, Panda, Grizzly Bear and lastly a raccoon.
"Come on guys, we are almost there!" The Grizzly said excitedly as he waving his large paw at his snail friends who was panting from exhaustion.
"Chris! Didn't you notice that sign, we are trespassing at a government property!" The raccoon said.
"Chloe is right, Chris. If we get caught, we are dead!" The Panda said while the Grizzly Bear a.k.a Chris waved his large paw dismissively.
"Aww. Come on guys, this is just once in a life time!" Chris said.
"I agree with Paolo and Chloe, we could go to jail for this." The Polar Bear said in his deep voice while crossing his arms then shaking his head in disapproval.
"Issac, you too?!" Chris exclaimed while placing his paw to his chest.
As the bears argued to each other, Chloe's ears twitch at the sudden chopping noise at the distance.
"Guys." She said trying to get the bears attention at their heated argument.
"Guys?" She said little louder.
She paw palmed seeing their attention was still at each other.
She began to inhale then shout.
"GUYS!" Chloe yelled, finally getting their attention.
They were silenced by the smalled mammal before them and then looked at her questionably.
"Listen." She said.
The Bears let their ears scan their surroundings only to hear a faint chopping sounds at the distance.
"Maybe it was just a woodpecker bird." Paolo said deadpanned.
"No! Just listen carefully." Chloe said while hushing them.
As they listened once more but this time, the chopping sounds were coming in closer.
"Is that what I think it is?" Chris said quietly but loud enough for the trio to hear.
"Helicopter." Issac said.
"No... Helicopters." Chloe corrected as their hearts skipped a beat.
"Guys, hide!"
As Paolo said that, they began to run to the treelines not far from them.
As they prepared for the inevitable, Chloe was panicking in the process.
"My parents gonna kill me, after they found out about this!" She said panicked.
"Chloe, breathe." Paolo said to her as she take his advice, she began to calmed herself.
"Don't worry Chloe, whatever happens. We are here to protect you... Right bros?" Chris said as the other bears nodded with small smiles plastered at their face.
As they wait for the helicopters to come to their position which was now more louder. The gentle giants create a defensive positions around the smaller mammal.
To their surprise. When the helicopters came in to their view, they saw an unusual and odd helicopters that they never seen in the movies nor in life.
It was large with many blades instead of 3 blades at the propellers and their colors were all mix of grey and white.
The group watch in awe as the alien helicopters flyby above them, until the powerful wind pushed them as they grab for the nearby tree to keep themselves at bay.
When the helicopters was out of their sights. They began to stand up while dusting their clothes from the dusts.
"Guys! Did you see that, those copters are not from this world!" Chloe said.
The giant mammals just nod still in shocked of what they just witness.
"Those are clearly aliens! Come on guys!" Chloe said while running to the direction of where the helicopters were going to.
The three bears looked at each other and nod as they followed Chloe throughout the forest.
Minutes later
Not long ago, they finally reach the area where they saw an weird building and the helicopters making their landing at the dirty H markers.
They crouch at the near formation of rocks providing them cover as they watch the alien helicopters landed smoothly.
"What are they?"
