Okay I'm rewriting My Magic of Pokemon series Why I just want to do it that's all I just wanted to try a new direction. Try a new approach to the story that's all. I do not own Pokemon or Harry Potter accept for My OC's and any Pokemon I catch in video games. But non the less I Hope you enjoy. There is a mix of FireRed/LeafGreen with a hint of Let's go Pikachu and Eevee. Also if our heroes have some of the same pokemon I'll mark that Pokemon with their respective Trainer's first initial. Example. A. Bulbasaur would mean Ash's Bulbasaur, and M. Bulbasaur would be May's Bulbasaur.
Chapter 1: A Journey begins.
Cruise Aaron, Ash Ketchum's two year younger Cousin woke up, his own Pikachu, Cruise has Caucasian skin, a semi athletic build was wearing a Navy blue Tank top and blue sweat short. Pikachu asleep in his arms. Cruise and Pikachu had been together since before Cruise became a Trainer, in fact Cruise is starting his Pokemon Journey tomorrow. Cruise's Pikachu had been a wild one Cruise had encountered with Ash, Misty and Brock when they were in a forest of them. Ash almost left his Pikachu there too, but Cruise's Pikachu was a small Pikachu, Pikachu had befriend but before leaving Cruise had an idea for Pikachu to not say goodbye to that little Pikachu. He asked Ash to catch and hold to it for him until he was old enough to be a Trainer, in the meantime he would take care of it during the travels when Ash acquired a full team of six Misty, Brock and Tracey would juggle back and forth as to who would hold on to Pikachu's Pokeball. When Ash took off for Hoenn, Cruise chose to stay home and train his Pikachu on occasion he would visit Professor Oak and Tracey, The Latter Ash was with during the Orange Island Journey, and with Permission, he would travel with Tracey to Cerulean City to see Misty. " Cruise, Breakfast is ready!" His Aunt Delia called.
" Coming!" He called down. " Come on Pikachu, it's Breakfast time." He said. Cruise's parents were visiting his Mother's, Brother, James Potter and his family but were killed, as a result Cruise came into his father's sister, Delia's custody. Pikachu woke up yawned and let Cruise take him downstairs. " Good Morning, Mr. Mime." He said to his Aunt's Pokemon. " Good Morning Aunt Delia." He said hugging her. He got Flash some food ready. " Here you go Flash." He said. While eating he glanced up at the Badges, and Prizes his Cousin had won during their travels through Kanto, Orange and Johto. They had just watched Ash's battle in the Ever Grande Conference last night. Even though Ash finished Top 8, Cruise was proud of him.
After he ate, Cruise felt a familiar Aura at the door. Cruise always had a strong sensitivity to Aura, not to mention wierd things would happen around him things he couldn't explain when he felt Scared or Angry, He went to the door and answered it. " Hey Misty, How are you?" He said.
" Hey Cruise, Hey Pikachu." She said. Petting him.
" Chaaaaa!" He said loving the pets. That's when Cruise saw what was in Misty's arms. " Wow an Azurill." He said tickling it. " So the egg Tracey gave you finally hatched." " Sure did, isn't it the cute?" Misty asked. " Sure is Oh come on in." Cruise was about close the door when he felt, Three familiar Auras. " Professor, Laurel and Eevee." He said. Inviting them in. Laurel is Professor Oak's granddaughter and Gary's little sister, Eevee was a gift from Gary it was his Umbreon's daughter. Laurel is also semi-athletic with slightly messy dark brown hair with hazel eyes that goes up to her lower back. She was currently wearing a blue hoodie, White jeans, and black and white sneakers. Eevee was on her shoulder.
After awhile. There was knock at the Door and Cruise, answered it. " ASH!" Cruise said hugging his Cousin. " PIKACHU!" He added petting his Cousin's Pokemon.
" Cruise, Pikachu!" Ash said, returning the hug. " Glad I made it back in time for your tenth birthday." He said. " Pikachu!" A. Pikachu said as He greeted . " Pikachu!" Nuzzled A. Pikachu as the two did their tail shake. C. Pikachu had gotten bigger since they last parted ways. " Hey, Honey welcome home." Delia said hugging her son.
" Welcome home Ash?" Misty said. Pikachu jumped into her arms. " Nice to see you too, Pikachu." She said hugging the Mouse Pokemon.
" Oh hi, Misty what are you doing here?" Ash asked.
" Professor Oak said you would be coming home and I came to greet you." She said.
" Ash, Welcome back." Professor Oak said. " You remember my Granddaughter, Laurel right?" He asked.
" Of course I do, she would play with Cruise when I would come visit Gary." Ash said. " Wow you've really grown."
" Thanks Ash." She said. That's when Azurill showed up. " Wow an Azurill." Ash said in amazement, " Isn't the cutest?" Misty asked picking it up. " It sure is." Ash agreed. " Tracey gave it to me as an Egg and I Brought it to Professor Oak's Lab to study." Suddenly there was a car horn at the gate. Everyone went to check it out. There at the Gate were two familiar faces and a new one.
" Professor Birch and Max." Ash said. The other boy was about Cruise and Laurel's age. " Oh this is my son, Brendan Birch, He' supposed to start his Pokemon Journey tomorrow so I brought him along, as well as Max who asked to come."
" Hello." Brendan said. " I'm Brendan Birch." He said. Brendan wore a Black shirt, brown shorts and Green shoes.
" Hi Brendan, I'm Cruise Aaron, Ash's Cousin this is Flash my Pikachu, Laurel Professor Oak's granddaughter and Her Eevee." Pikachu, Flash, Azurill and Eevee started to play.
The Next Morning...
Ash woke up with Cruise. " Hey Ash today's the day." Cruise said happily. " Yeah, can't wait to see you off on your first Journey." The two grabbed their respective Pikachu and ate Breakfast with Misty and Max following behind. Laurel and Brendan had spent the night a Professor Oak's Lab along with Professor Birch. Misty, Tracey and Max, were taking care of a young Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, Professor Birch had also brought a Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip for study, Cruise, Laurel and Brendan were there looking a Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle that were matured, as they were about to pick, They heard Baby Squirtle start to cry. Max was chasing it around until Squirtle hopped into May's arms as she and Mrs. Ketchum. " Hey May what's up?" Max asked.
" What's up?" May asked. " Your the one scaring Pokemon that's what's up." She said sternly. " Wait a second what are you doing here anyway?" She asked.
" That's my doing." Professor Birch said. " I invited Max to come along as Brendan and My guest."
" Hey May." Ash said greeting his Hoenn travelling friend. Suddenly Muk tackled Professor Birch, in an affectionate hello. " Muk cut that out!" Ash said.
" Pika Pika!" Pikachu added.
" Well it seems Muk has taken quite a shine to you Professor Birch." Professor Oak said.
Later...
Ash, was explaining the Battle Frontier, to May as they, Cruise, Laurel, Brendan, Max, Misty, Tracey, Mrs. Ketchum, Professor Oak and Professor Birch had some tea. With Muk messaging Birch's shoulders. " Ash, dear May told me she's entering the Pokemon Contests here in the Kanto Region." Delia said. " Really?" Laurel asked. " I want to be a Pokemon Coordinator too." She said. " Vee, Eevee!" Her Pokemon Playmate added. " I want to challenge Gym Leaders to compete in the Pokemon League Conference." Cruise said. " Pika Pikachu!" C. Pikachu added excitedly. " I want to be Pokemon Professor like Dad and do Field Research too." Brendan said. " Hey Ash we could travel together again." May said. " Hey Ash can I travel with you too?" Cruise asked. " Me too? I want to learn about Pokemon Contests maybe May could teach me." Laurel asked. " And me please?" Brendan added.
" Sure." Ash said. " Okay." May added. " May could I come too?" Max asked. " Maybe I will have to ask Mom and Dad." She said. After agreeing to ask Norman and Caroline together when they called them. And Ash decided to introduce May and Max to his other Pokemon, he acquired during his initial trip through Kanto, Orange and Johto. Starting with Snorlax. " Hey Snorlax, wake up and meet some new friends." Ash said.
" Come out and say hello." May said letting out her Combusken, Bulbasaur and Munchlax. Munchlax was amazed by the sight of his evolved form. " Hey where's Beautifly and Skitty?" Ash asked. " Mom fell in love with Beautifly and once Skitty got a feel for Dad's Greenhouse, forget about it, so I left them home." Suddenly Bulbasaur, Kingler, the Tauros herd, Heracross, Bayleef, Cindaquil, Totodile, Noctowl and Phanpy were stampeding towards them, the Tauros continued, on carrying Ash with them, and Bayleef ran after them, snatching Ash right off the back of one of the Tauros before Tracey blasted one in the face with his Marill's, Water Gun. Tracey and Misty approached them with the Babies Starters, and Squirtle leapt into May's arms happy to see her, Ash's Bulbasaur greeted May's Bulbasaur. Ash then let Swellow, Grovyle, Corphish, Torkoal and Glalie out. " Everyone these are my Pokemon from the Hoenn Region." He said. Corphish immediately made friends with fellow Crustacean Pokemon Kingler, Noctowl bounded with Swellow, Torkoal befriended Cindaquil, Glalie was entertained by Totodile and Grovyle shook hands with Heracross.
" Yoohoo, We're from Pokémon Sunday." Three voices called. As a Trio of News reporters approached. " Really I love that show." May said. " Me too, I wouldn't miss that show if you paid me." Max chimed in.
" Smart boy." The man complimented. " Now as you know I'm the Professor."
" And I'm da Lyin', Schemin', Manager." Added a short man.
" And I'm the gorgeous News reporter." The lady said. " Today we are getting the scoop, Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, makes big in Hoenn, after Making it into the Top 8 of the Ever Grande Conference. Now how about a shot of all the Kids and their Pokemon?" Misty let out Staryu, Psyduck, Politoed, Corsola, and Gyarados as Tracey let out Venonat and Scyther. " Now take a step back and say cheese." They advised. As soon as they did they fell into a pit, Noctowl, Swellow and Scyther, were about to fly out when a net covered the hole before they got out.
Jessie: " Prepare for trouble from the skies!"
James: " From beyond the stars, a nasty surprise!"
Jessie: " An evil as old as the galaxy..."
James: " ...sent here to fulfill our destiny!"
Meowth: " Plus, there's me."
Jessie: " To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
James: " To extend our reach to the stars above!"
Jessie: " Jessie!"
James: " And James!"
Meowth: " And Meowth are the names!"
Jessie: " Anywhere there's peace in the universe..."
James: " ...Team Rocket..."
Meowth: " ...Will be there..."
All: " To make everything worse!"
Wobbuffet: " Wobbuffet!"
Chimecho: " Chime, Chime!"
" TEAM ROCKET!" Everyone shouted. " Should've known you wouldn't change." Misty stated. " Yeah same old, same old, yatta, yatta." Cruise added.
" That's not true, didn't you notice the Motto?" Jessie said.
" Grovyle, use Leafblade on that net!" Ash directed. Grovyle's elbow leaves began to glow and diced clean through the net, Noctowl and Swellow, flew out. " Meowth, you were supposed to use the Net resistant to all attacks." Jessie demanded. " Yeah, but since we usually get hit by Electric ones I thought you would want to save on doe." Meowth said. " Team Rocket, you won't get away with this!" Ash stated as everyone got out of the pit. Meowth hit a button as a mecha appeared. " Tanks to dah dog we just saved we were able to purchase dis little baby which we call, our Sucker for Punishment." Meowth stated as they jumped in and activated the suction Ash's Totodile and The Baby Charmander almost got sucked in until Ash's Bulbasaur lassoed them with Vine Whip and brought them back. The baby Squirtle was crying but May hugged it close. " Don't worry Squirtle, I'll protect you." May assured.
" Snorlax, Tackle!" Ash called. Snorlax slammed hard into the Mech, knocking the Rockets out of it. " Let's just capture Pikachu and Call it a day!" Meowth stated. " Right." Jessie and James said pulling Pokeballs from their suits. " Seviper Go!" Jessie called throwing her Pokeball sending out her Snake Pokemon. " Go Cacnea!" James called his Cactus Pokemon who about faced to hug it's Trainer. " Seviper, Poison Tail." Jessie called.
" Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf!" Ash called.
" Pikachu, Thundershock!" Cruise called.
A. Bulbasaur fired a flurry of leaves that C. Pikachu charged with Electricity. Seviper was struck by the electricity infused Razor Leaves doing mass damage to the Snake.
" Cacnea, Pin Missile!" James directed. Cacnea, fired a series of needles at the Heroes.
" Bulbasaur, Petal Dance!" May directed.
" Eevee, Swift Attack!" Laurel added. M. Bulbasaur unleashed a flurry of flower petals as Eevee shot a barrage of Stars, the combine attack struck Cacnea hard.
" Seviper, Bite Attack!"
" Cacnea, Needle Arm!"
" Bulbasaur, Solar Beam!"
" Pikachu, Thundershock!" The two blasts sent Seviper and Cacnea flying. Team Rocket, was about to sneak off when...
" Hold it right there!" Tracey called sternly. " These grounds are home for the Pokemon!"
" You won't get away with this." Misty stated.
" Marrill..."
" Azurill..."
"...Water Gun!"
Azurill fired a burst of Water along side it's Mother at Team Rocket blasting them into their mech.
" Combusken, Fire Spin!" May called.
" Eevee, Swift!" Laurel added.
Combusken shot a swirl of Flame at them, and Eevee shot a burst of Stars which mixed with Combusken's Fire Spin, and struck them hard.
" Pikachu..." Ash and Cruise called together.
" ...Thunderbolt!" Ash stated.
" ...Thundershock!" Cruise stated.
" Pika CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Both called sending a combine burst of electricity, sending Team Rocket flying.
" TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" They shouted, as they went flying.
After that everyone was back in the Lab. Tracey had just withdrawn Baby Bulbasaur and Charmander back into their Pokeballs and was about to do the same to Squirtle when the Tiny Turtle began to cry. " Aww, don't cry Squirtle I only want you to go back in your ball." Tracey assured. But Squirtle leapt into May's arms. " Oh don't be scared." May assured hugging Squirtle. " Now What do I do?" Tracey wondered.
" Not a thing." Professor Oak advised.
" When a Pokemon chooses a Trainer their's really nothing to be done about it." Professor Birch explained.
" Well what do you say Squirtle?" May asked. " Wanna Join my team?" She asked. Squirtle nodded and hugged her. " That's great."
" Also, Will you be leaving your Bulbasaur here at the Lab, May?" Professor Oak asked. " Ash is leaving Torkoal and Glalie here."
" Great idea, I'm sure Ash's Bulbasaur will teach her some new things." May said.
" Oh, Cruise, Laurel, Brendan ready to choose your own Pokemon?" Professor Oak said. He had told Cruise and Laurel that despite already having Pikachu and Eevee respectively the could still have a traditional starter Pokemon. Professor let the more matured Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle out, while Professor Birch let Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip out.
" Yeah!" The trio said. " Laurel you can go first." Cruise said. Brendan agreed. That's when Gary walked in. " Gary what are you doing here?" Professor Oak asked.
" Come on Grandpa there was no way I was gonna miss out on My Sister's Big Day." He said hugging Laurel. " How ya' been Sis." He asked. " Hope I didn't miss out on your choice."
" Nah, you're right on time." Laurel said. " I Choose...Squirtle!" She said.
" Squirtle, Squirtle!" L. Squirtle said excitedly jumping into her arms. " Squirtle this you're teammate Eevee." Laurel said, mentioning her companion. " Eevee, Vee!".
" Aw the little squirt reminds me of Blastoise when I first chose him." He said. As Blastoise came out. Squirtle was fascinated by what it one day become.
" You go next Cruise." Brendan said.
" Okay, I choose...Charmander!" Cruise said.
" Charmander, Char, Char!" The Flame Pokemon said excitedly leaping into Cruise's arms. " Charmander, meet your Teammate Pikachu."
Cruise added. " Pi, Pikachu!" C. Pikachu said happily said. " Char, Char!" Charmander said happily to it's new friend. " Good Choice Cruise. Ash said. " Well I always liked Charizard so I wanted to try and raise one of my own." He said.
Brendan then approached the Hoenn Trio. " I choose...Mudkip." he said. " Mud, Mud, Mudkip!" The Pokemon said happily leaping into his arms.
Bulbasaur, Treecko and Torchic looked sad at not being chosen. " Awww, Poor guys." Laurel said. Then Cruise had an idea. " Professors, not to be greedy but, can we have a second choice too?" Cruise asked. " Help yourselves." " Be my guests." The Professors said. " Brendan, because you already have a Hoenn Starter, how about taking Bulbasaur too?" Cruise suggested. Bulbasaur looked at Brendan hopefully. Birch' son smiled and petted him as The Seed Pokemon grew on him." That sounds fair." He said. He petted Bulbasaur. " Welcome to the Team Bulbasaur, meet Mudkip your new teammate." Bulbasaur and Mudkip started to play.
" Because I already have a Fire Pokemon, I choose Treecko." Cruise said. " Treecko, Treecko!" The Gecko said excitedly and jumped onto Cruise using the hooks in it's digits and crawled around. " Treecko meet your new Teammates Pikachu and Charmander." Treecko climbed down and soon the trio started play. " And hey Ash, could Grovyle be Treecko's Mentor?" Cruise asked. " Sure thing, Cuz." Ash said.
" I guess that leaves me with Torchic." Laurel said smiling as she picked the Chick Pokemon up. " Torchic, Torchic!" The Fire Pokemon said happily. " Hey, May could Combusken, teach Torchic some moves?" Laurel asked. " Of course." May agreed. " Torchic meet Eevee and Squirtle you're new Teammates." Torchic ran around with it's new friends.
" Ash, May, Cruise, Laurel and Brendan, these are for you." Professor Oak said. Handing five New Pokedexes to the Trainers. Ash's was Red, May's Yellow, Brendan's Green, Laurel's Pink and Cruise's Blue. " Um, Professor can I have one too please?" Max asked.
" Hey Max, I got something for you." Tracey said handing Max his Pokenav. " I downloaded the locations of the Battle Frontier here in the Kanto Region." " Really, thanks, Your the best Tracey." Max said happily.
" Well I don't know about that." Tracey said modestly.
" I'll look up the closest one." Max said. " The Battle Factory is just outside Cerulean City." He said.
" Hey Misty you're heading back there tomorrow aren't you?" Tracey asked.
" Sure am, I'm starting to worry." She said.
" Great I can battle for a Cascade Badge." Cruise said. " But can we stop into Pewter City first so I can try to earn a Boulder Badge first please?"
" Sure." Ash said.
" Of course." Misty added.
" Absolutely." May put in.
The Next Morning...
Ash, Misty, May, Max, Cruise, Laurel and Brendan. The latter three are wearing new clothes.
Cruise was wearing a red sleeveless jacket with a white collar and stripe, black undershirt, a pair of black wristbands yellow backpack, baggy blue jeans with black, red and white running shoes.
Laurel was wearing a sleeveless, light blue shirt with a bit of black, a short pinkish-red skirt with loose teal socks with white shoes with a pinkish-red stripe in the middle. A white bucket hat with a pinkish-red Poke Ball logo and black wristbands much like Cruise. She carries a bright yellow messenger bag.
Brendan was wearing a black headband with a red Poké Ball pattern. He sports a long-sleeved red and black sweater and black shorts over baggy black trousers with yellow cuffs at the bottom. His sneakers are also red and black, matching his outfit. Around his neck he sports a gold band with a round white circle in the center, and on his hands he wears yellow and blue fingerless gloves.
" Hey Cruise." Ash said. " I want you to have this." He said taking out his Old Pokémon League Expo hat from his backpack. The first hat he wore. " As you know I wore this for my first Pokemon Journey I would like you to wear it." He explained. Cruise hugged him. " Thank You Ash." Ash placed the hat on his head after returning the hug. Just then Phanpy ran up to them.
" Did you come all this way from Professor Oak's Lab?" Ash asked. Only for the little Elephant to respond yes. " Betcha I know why, you want to come with us don't you?"
" Phanpy, Phan!" Phanpy said excitedly as if to say yes.
" Well let me think about it." Ash said. " Just kidding of course you can come."
" Wonderful, I'll call Professor Oak and let him know." Delia said, after the call and Ash getting Phanpy's Pokeball. The group was off when...
" Hey forgetting someone?" Said a Familiar voice.
" Hi Brock!" Everyone said.
" Now what's an adventure without good ol' Brock?" He asked.
" A Hungry one." Cruise answered. " Say Brock we're going to stop in Pewter City, so I can try to earn a Boulder Badge."
" Great, You could be my Brother Forrest's first challenger." Brock said. As the Group continued on. Ash with his desire to challenge the Battle Frontier, May and Laurel with their dream to challenge the Kanto Grand Festival, and Cruise's dream to compete in Pokemon League.
Meanwhile...
In the House across the street from the Ketchum Residence two figures were watching the Trainers leave. One of them walked over to the Fireplace, and pulled out a Stick and pointed it at the Fireplace. " Incendio!" He said. A spark shot from the wand the Fireplace ignited, and the figure took some powder from a flower pot on the mantelpiece and threw it into the flames which turned Emerald Green. " Albus Dumbledore, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Headmaster's Office!" He stated. A man with a long beard, halfmoon spectacles, and a long pointed hat appeared in the flames.
" Kingsley, What can I help you and Tonks with?" Dumbledore asked.
" Cameron and Alex' son, Professor Oak's granddaughter and Professor Birch' son, has left Pallet Town, should we follow him?" Kingsley asked.
" Yes, but be discreet, remember your also working with the Ministry, but don't let on to any of them." Dumbledore instructed.
" Yes sir." Kingsley responded. Dumbledore vanished from the flames.
" Blaziken!" Kingsley's partner said, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
" Indeed, my friend." Kingsley said. Kingsley had Blaziken ever since it was a Torchic from Professor Birch. To this day, Blaziken is Kingsley's most trusted partner, and ally even as an Auror." But you know as well as I do, that recieving your first Pokemon and starting a Pokemon Journey is momentous occasion." He explained.
" I agree." Tonks said walking in with her partner Meganium. " Meeting Meganium when he was a Chikorita was the best moment of my life." She almost tripped but Meganium caught her with vines. " Wotcher Meganium!" She said.
" Meg, Meganium." Her Pokemon Partner said. As he nuzzled her.
" He really knows how to help me with my Clumsy lack of Coordination." She said.
" Well this is Cruise, Laurel and Brendan's Journey they don't need us watching them." Kingsley said.

And that's chapter 1, so yeah, there you go and yes I intend on doing Lucario and The Mystery of Mew (My favorite second only Detective Pikachu best movie ever.) and Pokemon Ranger and The Temple of The Sea. Both will have seperate stories, because they deserve stories of their own. And yes we will be getting a chapter of Cruise trying to earn his Boulder Badge and Cascade Badge. Cruise will be battling Forrest because I think The kid deserves a chance to Battle. And yes Cruise is based on Red's FRLG design, Laurel is based on Leaf and Brendan is well Brendan.
