"Morning Boss. Want a coffee?" asked a young D.C as Sunny walked into the office.

"Nah I'm good thanks, right where are we at with the Good case?" Sunny replied, putting his backpack onto his desk. He looked up and saw the team staring at him. "What? Have I got ketchup on my shirt again?" He looked down, nope nothing there. He heard a pair of voices getting closer and in walks the Chief Constable with someone behind him.

"Can I have your attention please? Just wanted to introduce you to your DCI then you can get back to work if that's ok?" He looked round the office and continued on. "Now I'm sure you all have heard that Ram Sidhu died the other day due to another inmate stabbing him in his cell. Because of this, I am now able to divulge to you all a top secret case. Before he died, Sidhu sent a death threat to Cass Stuart before she died. Basically saying if he was named as a suspect, she will either watch her loved ones die or herself die. Because of this, her death was faked and Cass went into hiding. Now Sidhu is dead, she can finally come home."

He turned round and said to the person behind him "Come on, it's time."

From behind the Chief Constable, out came the one person who Sunny would never thought he'd see again… Cassie Stuart.

Cassie wasn't sure that she could just walk in like nothing had happened, like she hadn't faked her death and broke the hearts of all of her friends not to mention Sunny's. People would probably have thought she'd be able to just get right back into the swing of things at work and in her life, but they would be wrong. Cass has trouble getting to relax because she still has Sunny's face embedded in her head. God, she misses that man!

As she follows her boss into the office, she hangs back as he speaks to her team. She wasn't sure if she wanted to see any of them just yet, Cass feels guilty still for deceiving them.

As she was so into her own thoughts she didn't hear what the Chief said.

"Huh? Sorry boss, what did you say?" She asked the Chief.

"Come on, it's time." The Chief said. "It's time to come home Cassie."

Cass nodded, took a deep breath and and walked into the office to be met by a group of, and she still can't believe this, smiling and tearful faces like they were so happy for her to be back with them.

As she looked round for one face in particular, she was greeted with hugs and "great to have you back boss!" when she finally found who she was looking for. There, in the corner he stood, arms crossed and leaning against the wall, was Sunny (who, by the way, didn't look too happy). He just looked at Cass, shook his head sadly and walked away.

Sunny couldn't believe what he was seeing! Yes, he did dream that Cassie was still alive and she come back to him but he never dared to allow himself to believe it to be true. But here she was, standing in front of him, alive and breathing and looking as beautiful as she did before all of this shit happened.

Sunny didn't know what to feel,yes he was over the moon she was back but on the other hand, Sunny was angry she put him though all that pain when he could have helped her with Sidhu.

He pushed himself off the wall and walked out of the office, knowing a certain pair of eyes followed him as he left…
