Armoured Adventures in College Chapter 4

:Chapter Start:

SFIT Campus-Stark's Party-A couple days since last chapter

Tony was pouring himself punch as everyone was enjoying their games. Happy playing a game of Basketball, solo against a full team of students from SFIT and was winning. Hiro and Gogo were helping, Hiro's Aunt Cass while Baymax and Fred were advertising with Minimax the former two being dressed as Cats, that looks like Mochi the slow clapping cat. Everyone was enjoying the party even Granville, speaking with the students and staff. Of course not everyone came to the party as only one did not.

Otto's 'Shared' lab-that moment

Otto was typing on his computers both to calculate his plans and the other in contact with a hidden contact. During Otto's calculations he glared and says, "Damn, without Berilium, I cannot complete my machine."

His words were typed into the screen and sent to his contact who simply responded with in text form, 'Then you need some. I can organise the material, but I will need from is a means to collect it without drawing attention to either of us.'

With that Otto opened a file and sent it to his 'ally' and says, "This design will allow for most non-organic materials to partially disintegrate. Though be warned the more dense the material it will take longer to fall a apart."

After his message was sent he received back, 'Including iron?'

Otto clasped his hands he simple says, "At this time I have not built the device myself. Considering the dangers such a device could cause, I have not gone any further then the calculations needed to generate the desired effect."

The message was sent and a minute later a new message was received, 'Then a third part shall be given a chance for a new carrier.' Otto was silent after seeing that final line of text as his ally as he reviewed his design, a sphere surrounded by pylons. He frowns before activating a different design the focus being a machine that would ensure his life work.

Back down at the party

Tony was speaking to several other students about some of the science regarding the Ironman armour including the original purpose of the armour being a hazardous situation suit, like a replacement for the standard space suit or search and rescue. Which went out the window when the plane 'accident' happened as it was the only reason he was alive now.

Everyone did not care about that as they focused on the tech and science behind the armour, but not enough to build their own. Would not stop them from trying though.

Pepper came over holding her phone and says, "Tony, Robbery in progress off the coast."

"What are they trying to steal" Tony asks calmly.

"Whiplash," Pepper simply states causing Tony's eyes to widen before suddenly being encased inside the Ironman Armour before rocketing into the air and speeding away from the city.

Hiro noticed this before walking over to Pepper holding a tray of snacks to ask, "What's up with Stark?"

Pepper simply says, "One of Mister Fix's henchmen showed up. A very dangerous enemy who almost killed Tony and my Dad. I can't believe he is back." Which made sense for why she wasn't running after Ironman. Though she then had to deal with questions about the Rescue armour though when some of the questions turned perverted and she was happy that Happy and Gogo came over and glared at those perverts enough to send them away.

Hiro though, was thinking about this and started thinking for himself and pulled out his phone quickly to look up Ironman's enemies that were known to the public, he only stopped when his phone died from lack of power. Though at the end he could only feel that he was ready to face the same enemies Ironman had and started to think of ways to help his team.

With Ironman-of the coast

Ironman flew through the city and out to sea, heading towards the large cargo ship travelling past the city and over the water. He reached the cargo ship and landed on the ship to find several people tied up. Whiplash stood on a large crate and simply says, "Good you showed up, now I can destroy you."

Ironman simply asks, "Where is Fix?" Whiplash was silent before suddenly being blasted away and Ironman continues speaking, "I know full well that Fix is the only one who can rebuild you especially with the fact that Hammer left you as nothing more than molten scrap."

Whiplash laughs and says, "Well Stark, I do have one piece of information for you is that Fix was surprised that a child had been out smarting him. Though when he decides to make his proper move you won't see it coming," he then suddenly attacked Ironman only to suddenly freeze as he says, "I can't move."

"Yeah, I have had access to your designs since Fix was apparently deleted. So go tell your boss that he made a mistake coming back," Ironman states before shoving a fist into Whiplash's chest and pulled out the power core in Whiplash's body as the Robot's consciousness vanished back to their boss before went over to the crate that was ripped open and noticed it empty. He looked at the side of the crate and saw that it belongs to H Industries. Though what was labelled as the contents made Ironman frown as he opened his helmet as the listing stated the contents as stationary. His armour though indicated some rare elements had been present. Ironman stepped out intending to ask the crew what was really in the crate when suddenly a large green robot with a large drill for a hand stealthed within striking range knocking Ironman back and firing a clawed hand into Ironman's chest sending him off the Cargo ship before Ironman could see while also finding his suit malfunctioning as he could not activate his thrusters. Ironman's facemask retracted before he hit the water and began sinking as he did his best to pull off the metal claw weighing him down. Though the claw tightened as it cracked his armour causing a breach into the system causing water to fill into his suit. Tony struggled as he punched the claw before finally hitting the base of the bay before was suddenly engulfed in water inside his suit before finding an old piece of rusted metal before finally managed to wedge himself out of the claw where his suit's functions returned and be blasted out the water and opened his face plate draining the water before he looks around for the ship and frowns as he finds the ship missing before using his suit's sensors but found nothing. Like the cargo ship was never there to begin with. Ironman sighs before sending Pepper a text before flying back to the city as he suddenly remembered the metal he used and looked at the item and frowned as he scanned the material and whistled as he realised that he picked up a samurai sword while thinking that was cool he also started thinking about what happened and had a sudden wave of inspiration. So he sent a new text to Pepper that he has some work to do tonight.

Big Hero 6's main base-Fredrickson Paper Mill-that night

After the party Hiro told his aunt that he is spending the night at Fred's house while informing his teacher about the situation mainly about some concerns he was having after researching Ironman's villain gallery. Though he was getting some ideas on what he can do to help his team, which was problematic as Fred went home with Minimax while Baymax powered down for the night. Gogo though pulled out her own sketch pad, though compared to what Hero was doing, she was just doodling some designs for personal projects. Hiro though, was making designs for suits to handle the different situations. The majority of which were for Baymax, different variants to handle some of the situations that may occur though Hiro hated every attempt he made for a space suit for any of the team. Eventually Gogo fell asleep for the night leaving Hiro alone to work while still being in the same room.

Next Day-Junk Drop-next morning

One of the locations in San Fransokyo, that have been slowly abandoned due to the fact that everyone recycled in the city simply was slowly reducing the size of all the trash dumps around the city. One such Dump was for metal scrap, owned by a former weapon designed of Hammer Industries. The owner is Bruno Horgon, a middle aged man covered in scars from most of his weapon designs being subpar inventions using crappy materials. The reason for this was simple, he embezzled a fortune only to be caught by Justine Hammer's father just before his death. The only reason Bruno was not in prison or dead, was because of the sudden death due to exploding yacht. Either was he was a brown haired man of average physical ability.

Currently he was drinking a beer watching the last of his money he still had go down the drain as the team he bet his remaining money on the wrong team. Bruno growls as he throws the bottle out at the television breaking the damn thing. Bruno rubbed his head, knowing full well the only job he could get is with the military except they would catch him.

Bruno growls when there is a knock at the door before he stands up quickly, goes to the door and shouts as he opmes the door to his tiny shack in the middle of the dump, "F%^% OFF!" only to see nothing but a drone flying away. Bruno stepped forward and lightly kicked a package that was left at his feet. Bruno picked up the box and opened the package to find a gun connected to a harness. Bruno blinked at this before shrugging and aiming the gun at some scrape and fired resulting in a pile of metal partially melted. Bruno blinks before laughing and dropping the box taking his new toy inside and forgetting the box which had a note inside.

'Consider yourself hired, I will contact you with a job in the future.'

Not that Bruno would ever read. As he was too busy putting together his own suit with his limited gear.

Basemax-midday

Gogo woke up to the sound of a loud thud and exclamation of pain as Baymax activated and went over to Hiro who was clearly tired and awoken himself. Bags under his eyes caused Gogo to sigh and get up before walking over and pulling him into a hug and says, "I will make sure he gets some sleep. For now though you should suit up Fred will be patrolling soon."

Baymax nods before suiting up as Fred messaged those at base that he was starting his patrol. Basemax assembled his suit before Baymx looked to Hiro as Gogo lifted him over her shoulder and carried him into the sleeping quarters. Though Baymax flew out the base missing Gogo undoing her jacket.

With Baymax-twenty minutes later

Baymax flew quickly over the city before finding Fredzilla jumping across the rooftops of the shop fronts. Minimax tailing above and behind as was his purpose of protecting Fred. Baymax followed Minimax's work, only when they notice a runaway cart only Baymax scans the breaks and says, "The breaks have been melted and have fused the breaks open." With that Fredzilla quickly do what they can slowdown the cart as Baymax gets in front of the cart with his boosters being used them to slow the cart down in a safe manor while Minimax evacuated pedestrians in the path of the cart. Baymax increased speed when everyone braced themselves for a collision. The cart was stopped as Baymax scans the brakes as he says, "The atomic structure of the metal components have lost stability."

Fredzilla landed on the cart before pulling up the brake lever and revealed the melted metal that looked like melted ice cream. Fred extended his hand and rubbed some of the liquid metal on his fingers and blinks as he turns to Baymax with his hand outside his suit as he says, "Shouldn't I be in extreme pain."

Baymax simply says, "The Atomic cohesion of the metal has been negated." Fredzilla looks around the cart as Baymax finishes his scan of the cart and says, "It appears the a straight beam of energy was used to 'melt' a straight line through the cart. It appears that allows, synthetics and organic material. This appears to have been a distraction." With that Fredzilla and Minimac jumped onto Baymax's back and flew back along the carts path.

Top of the Hill-With Rescu-half hour earlier

Pepper laughs in joy as she flew her suit over the city. The reason she was alone was because Tony had classes for the day. So here was Pepper in her Mark two Rescue armour. She was flying high speed without breaking the sound barrier when her suit alerted her to an alarm from one of the banks around the city that she was flying past. She flew down towards the bank and flew down noticing that there was a hostage situation with strange puddles on the ground and the large vault melted down as a guy appears to be filling a couple bags with cash. Rescue silently flew into the bank where she aimed her hands at the crook before dropping to the floor alerting the man dressed in a green sweat suit with a mask and a holstered weapon. Rescue spoke, "You know, getting a loan is easier without a criminal record."

The criminal did not draw his weapon before twisting the holster so that the weapon would fire and grazed Rescue's arm along with a portion of her chest disabling her generators in her suit. She raised her other arm and fires a repulsor blast at the criminal, at minimal power which was enough to disable her suit's enhancements while knocking the criminal forward into the vault. Rescue shakes her head before removing her helmet and says, "Okay, consider that your warning. Come out and surrender!"

She received silence as the police finally arrived some of the guards warning them about the criminal's weapon. The police stood next to Pepper in her melted Rescue Suit. The lead police officer asks, "What are you doing Why didn't you go in there?"

"I am currently bluffing," Pepper whisper shouted before admitting quietly, "He got a lucky shot on me. Disabled the batteries of my suit. Just go with it," With that the heroine and four police officers stepping into the vault and notices a second vault door completely melted along with the security elevator. The police move quickly to look down and notice that the criminal escaped through a secret subway tunnel that the police quickly reports to their boss while Pepper slowly moved in her heavy armour. They won't be able to chase the criminal without risking the distruction of the city's foundations. Pepper groans and says, "Can I please borrow one of your phones?" while rubbing her face with her unarmoured hand.

I have to apologize.

Basically I have found full time employment and it has been taking up most of my time and to top it off limited time when not working has resulted in other problems needing to be focused on. Hence why this is a short chapter that I struggled to complete this chapter. At this stage unfortunately it will be in segments.
