Boom! Prue was upstairs in the attic looking through the Book of Shadows to see if there was anything in there to help her friend Andy through his grieving. She immediately ran downstairs as quickly as she could. When she got downstairs her two other sisters were already in the living room looking down at their white-lighter, Leo. He was bleeding and he could barley breath. Piper broke down into tears because she had never seen Leo like this plus, he was her husband. She fell to her knees and started to ask what happened when a dark-lighter stepped through the broken glass window. "Oh, is he hurt? Good!" the evil dark-lighter said. Piper stood up and grabbed Phoebe for support. Then, she held up her hands and blew him up. He blew up into a million pieces and splattered to the floor. There was an arrow in Leo's left shoulder that was poisonous to a white-lighter. "Leo, you're going to be okay. We are going to find some way to cure you okay?" Piper told Leo as if the cure would just fall into their lap. Prue and Phoebe looked at each other with a look of fear for Leo and Piper.
They moved Leo into the attic and started to look through the Book of Shadows to see if there was anything about a cure for a dark-lighters arrow. Piper was determined to make sure that Leo would not die. She kept rubbing her stomach and saying things like, "You have to stay for your baby, Leo." and, "I can't raise a magical baby by myself Leo." Phoebe saw a spell in the book that would allow Leo and Piper switch powers and then Piper would be able to heal Leo. While Phoebe was doing this Prue was getting the arrow out of Leo's shoulder. Phoebe was going down the stairs to tell Piper that she found something when she heard Leo fall off the attic couch and onto the floor. "Piper, Get up here now!" Prue yelled down the stairs. When Piper set foot in the attic she fell to her knees and started to sob uncontrollably.
Phoebe went over to Piper and told her the spell. "Give me the book! We need to do this fast!" Piper yelled back at her. Phoebe ran and grabbed the book to give to Piper. "Prue we better close our ears so that our powers don't get switched as well." Phoebe suggested to Prue. They covered their ears and watched as Piper's and Leo's powers were exchanged through the air. When it was safe they removed their hands and Piper tried to heal Leo. Unfortunately it did not work. Leo's trigger was different than Piper's. She found this out the hard way. "What am I doing wrong?" Piper asked Prue and Phoebe. "Well what are you doing to try and use his power?" Prue asked. Prue stepped closer to Piper to watch as she tried again and again. "I am doing what I always do." she pleaded. "Do you remember when we first got our powers? Remember how it took us a while to figure out what triggered our powers? Well maybe you need to figure out his trigger and not yours." Prue suggested to Piper. But Piper could not find Leo's trigger and she finally gave up. Piper wrapped herself in a blanket that lay on top of Leo. "I tried, I tried and I couldn't do it!" Piper sobbed.
