Sleeping In by Elisabeth

He had been concerned at the rapid decline in his health since he had been released from the infirmary after the loss of his symbiote. But the doctor set his mind at ease.

"Teal'c, did it ever occur to you that your body will now require eight good hours of sleep a night?"

"It did not," he confessed.

The first two nights had not gone will. Despite all the drug-induced sleep in the infirmary, his first night of flying solo he slept eleven hours, and would have slept more had Jonas not arrived at his quarters.

Bee… B…

Crackle! ZAT!

He apologized when his commander saw what had once been a thoughtful gift.

"I had not been expecting such a strong reaction," he confessed.

ColonelO'Neill cocked an eyebrow.

"It caught me unawares."

"Obviously." He grinned, "Well, no overnight missions for you for awhile, then."
