Chapter 2: Again With the New Student!

Today Asuka, Shinji, Touji, Kensuke, Hikari, Rei and Kaworu all walked together. Touji was eager hoping that they might bump into a girl and he'd get to see her panties.

"So, is this going to be our friendship circle?" asked Kaworu eating toast from his breakfast.

"You could call it that," said Kensuke.

"But we do argue a lot…" said Hikari looking down.

"But friends do that, it's natural right Shinji?"

"Yeah I guess," but Shinji then slipped on a rock and tumbled ahead of them. They all chased after them but halted when they heard a crash.

"Oww…" said Shinji.

When he realized the position he was in he blushed and quickly got up.

"Gomen nasai, I tripped on something…"

He faced her, and blushed even more, 'She's cute…' He noticed that she wasn't moving from her spot on the floor.

"What's wrong?"

He then saw that her leg was sprained, "Oh no, I'm so sorry."

"It's ok, I just need to get up- ugh…"

Shinji then picked her up and put her on his back.

"I caused it, so I might as well help you until it goes away."

The girl just smiled and everyone caught up.

Now the group looked different, Asuka, Rei and Hikari were right next to each other talking, Kensuke was listening to a jealous Touji ranting on about how Shinji is soooo lucky, and Kaworu was walking next to Shinji.

"Great, now he's carrying that girl…" complained Asuka.

Hikari raised her eyebrow, "Jealous?"

Asuka turned red, "No way, why would you think of such things?"

"You defended Shinji about the panty thing with me," said Rei.

"And you never allow any girl have a full conversation with him," said Hikari nodding along with Rei.

"Yeah, whenever I am about to ask him out, you come in out of no where and drag him somewhere."

Asuka just sighed as she listened to her friends talk about her relationship with Shinji.

"So, what's your name?" asked Kaworu putting on his best smile.

"It's Mana."

"I see, so you're the new student aren't you?"

"You're all in the same class?"

"Yeah, even him," and he pointed to a Shinji with a bump on his forehead from the fall.

"Even him…" and her eyes grew sparkly.

"Forget about him, so, want to go grab a bite with me at lunch?"

But no response, she just continued to look at Shinji.

"Oh man…"

At school Misato introduced Mana, and told her to take the seat next to Shinji.

Asuka watched Mana as she sat nest to him. She noticed that she was in a conversation and staring at him at the same time.

RedDevil: Hey why are you looking at him?

IronMaiden: What, he's cute don't you think?

Cutie69: You got that right.

RedDevil: Rei!

Cutie69: What, you're only childhood 'friends'.

IronMaiden: Is that true? I guess he's available then.

Cutie69: Yeah. Hey! He's mine!

IronMaiden: No way!

Asuka looked away from the conversation and sighed. 'Oh Baka-Shinji-kun, What have you got yourself into?'

Kaworu noticed Asuka looking at Shinji.

SlyGuy: He's sleeping you know?

Confused: I know…

SlyGuy: You like him don't you?

Confused: I don't know…

SlyGuy: Oh, I can tell by you're username.

Confused: …

The next two days, Asuka and the stooges hardly got to speak to Shinji, whenever Asuka tried to talk to him, Rei or Mana came out of no where, and Kaworu couldn't help her get to him, he was always surrounded by girls.

"When did he get so lucky?"

"Don't worry Touji, tomorrow we get to go swimming for gym class."

"Oh yeah…"

"Those idiots…"

Asuka just sighed as she saw Shinji being pulled by Mana and Rei.
