I sit on in the garden...waiting for him to come. It's almost midnight and he'd said he would show. Then I hear the bush behind me rustle a bit.
I know it's him.
I turn around and saw him in the pale moonlight. His smooth.dark-blond hair falls into his face. His well defined chest rising an falling with every breath he takes. His strong, but gentle, arms at his side. He is here tonight to take me away from my troubles of being a princess.
Link, that is his name.
All I do is stare at him. The Hero of Time is his title for defeating Ganondorf. Link has been my best friend all my life, and now, he is my lover. He walks over to me,with a small smile on his face. I look up at him, and he takes my hand. Then, he tilts my chin up with his free hand and our lips meet for a momment.
When we part he asks, in that deep, kind voice that makes me melt, "Are you ready to start a new life with me, away from all of your troubles?"
I nod in responce.
He pulls me to the gate by the garden. We open it and head towards Epona, Link's cheast-nut colored horse. Link helps me up then gets on behind me. Then he kicks Epona and we ride off into the night. Just me and my knight in shining armor.
