Chapter 18: Busting out of outer dimensions
Asuka wiped her forehead clear of sweat after knocking out the stupid hamsters, "Easy, if only they weren't so fat…" looking at her oh so convenient watch she stole she gasped, "Holy crap! It's been 3 hours already…Hey, where's the rescue crew? They all should've come by and rescued me by now!"
Asuka sat down and pouted, "Where's that Shinji?"
Back in the normal dimension Shinji was still shocked, "Why the hell does the cookie lead to other dimensions! I want my Asuka back!"
"Furious much," Kaworu said shaking his head.
"He just misses his hunny bun," Mana said with her eyes sparkling, "How romantic, I knew I had a good reason for stalking you from the beginning Shinji-kun!"
Shinji raised his eyebrow and backed away a little slowly, "Ok…We're getting off topic here, how the hell are we supposed to get her back?"
"Well, other dimensions are quite complicated you know. Full of mysteries unsolved and floating pudding…" Rei began saying as Kensuke busted in.
"You guys are so stupid…" Kensuke began as he walked in slowly after brushing the dust off of him.
The others eyes' twitched as Kensuke calmly and coolly walked towards the cookie. He then grabbed it out of Rei's hands, "There's a reset button you idiots."
"AHHHH!" was all they heard. Soon a fairly pale Asuka appeared out of no where holding red cheese.
"So how was it?" Kensuke asked.
The red cheese disappeared and Asuka made a fist, "What the hell was that all about!"
Kensuke broke the cookie into pieces and handed it out, "I suggested it for the judges. I had a great time with those hamsters you know. But I guess it just wasn't right for you Asuka since you beat the shit out of them."
Rei blinked and her eyes widened, "Oh, that cookie…"
Kensuke nodded and everyone looked at the two. Shinji closed his eyes and crossed his arms. With one eyebrow twitching furiously he muttered, "Idiot…" he opened them again and walked towards Asuka. Asuka hugged him and they kissed lightly.
The others just stared and nibbled on their cookies, "Baka," Asuka said after finishing her cookie, "I knew we should've just eaten it…"
"But it was a prize," Shinji pointed out.
"Oh, you are right about that."
There was a moment of silence and their teacher Misato Katsuragi busted in, "ARE THE CHILDREN ALRIGHT? –hic-" everyone sweat dropped as she was obviously drunk. She fell to the floor and the others looked at each other with plain faces.
"Ok you guys, show's over, Asuka and I will bring her back to her apartment and we'll meet you guys at the movies later."
"Movies?" Kaworu asked
Shinji nodded, "Yeah, we're going to watch the new humor/romance flick remember? Mana and Rei chose it."
Everyone except for the two rolled their eyes, "Right…"
They all left hand in hand with their partner and left Asuka and Shinji alone with the drunken teacher.
Asuka signaled Shinji to pick up one of her arms and she picked up the other. Pen-pen waddled in and helped direct them to her apartment.
After dropping her off, they slowly walked towards the theatres, "I'm sorry," Shinji said breaking the silence.
Asuka turned and smiled slightly at Shinji, "For what?"
Shinji sighed and stopped, "For not doing anything, I was so stupid."
"It's not your fault," she said beginning to walk again, "It's that stupid Kensuke's fault for making up that freaking cookie."
They both chuckled lightly and smiled at each other sweetly, "I love you," Shinji said whispering and putting his arm around her waist.
Asuka smiled a bit and said the same, "I love you too, now let's get this stupid movie over with."
Shinji nodded as they walked towards the others…
Kaworu yawned and stretched his arms, "Man was today exhausting!"
Hikari looked at him, "Why?"
"You know the whole cookie thing," he yawned again, "Oh how tiring…"
Mana grabbed his arm and rubbed her cheek against it, "How about we stop by that park and lie in the grass?"
Everyone nodded except for Rei and Kensuke, "We have to head home?"
"Oh is it going to get wild?" Asuka said winking at Kensuke and Rei.
The two reddened and scratched their heads, "No it's not like that," Kensuke said.
"Yeah, we're just going to discuss the next field trip!" Rei replied in delight and grabbed Kensuke's arm, "After all, we are in charge!"
Touji shivered, "Oh no, they're going to plan on going to some haunted place with g-ghosts and m-monsters…I have to go with them!"
"Since Touji-kun is going, I might as well also…" Hikari said blushing.
Asuka shook her head, "Excuses, excuses," she smirked, "Let's go also Shinji, I do not want to be left with that Mana and Kaworu."
Shinji sighed, "Whatever you say Asuka-chan…"
"Hmm, lying in the grass alone with Mana, or go with the others to plan the next field trip…" he smirked, "Decisions, decisions…"
"KAWORU-KUN!" she smiled mischievously, "You're not going anywhere, Hehehe…" she smirked and grabbed a hold of him.
"MOMMY!"
As Mana and a scared Kaworu headed towards the park, the others caught up to Kensuke and Rei.
"Hoy! Rei-chan and Kensuke! Can we help you decide! Please!" Touji yelled out. Hikari rolled her eyes and so did Shinji and Asuka.
"Sure!" Rei said in a cheery voice.
"We already have our top ten choices; we just need you guys to help decide!" Kensuke said a suspicious gleam in his eyes.
"Already…Top…Ten?" Touji said in a slight panic.
Finally they had arrived in the rightful home, Rei made some tea and Kensuke grabbed the files of the ten places.
Asuka didn't want any tea and set herself next to Shinji leaning on his shoulder. Shinji found it quite annoying since it was hard to enjoy his tea, but whenever he tried to get her off, she would glare at him, and he would freeze to his spot.
"Okay you guys," Rei began holding one file, "Here's one choice, the haunted mine apparently. I wanted to see if the ghost there existed, plus we can go digging, lots of fun and scares for the class. Kensuke will be the tour guide making this as educational as possible!"
"As for the second choice," he said smiling, but frowned to see Touji shivering, "What's wrong man?"
"It's…It's just that…HOLY CRAP I'M AFRAID OF GHOSTS!"
The room was silent and Asuka shook her head, "As if we don't know already, jeez be a man, even Shinji's not afraid of ghosts!"
"What is that suppose to mean?"
"Oh nothing," she smirked, "Go one Rei and Kensuke."
"Well, the second choice in visiting a haunted mansion. As we all know, ghosts is an important subject now."
"Even though they don't exist?" Shinji asked.
"Shinji! You of no faith!" Rei said disappointedly, "Ghosts sooo exist, and we'll prove it!"
"How?"
"Every trip option has something to do with ghosts man! And so, wherever we'll go a ghost will be there for sure!"
"Ugh…" Touji mumbled and fainted right on Hikari.
"Touji-kun…eh…" she sighed, she couldn't get up, the jock was too heavy.
"So the other choices are: haunted lighthouse, haunted old school, haunted theme park, haunted ditch, haunted beach, haunted virtual video game, haunted ghost town, and a haunted restaurant."
"Oh how nice, we're going to have some freaky trip where ghost are involded," Asuka said rolling her eyes, "Might as well go for a wide area, it's easier to scare people that way, I say haunted theme park or haunted mansion."
Shinji sighed, "I'm telling you, they don't exist," he shook his head "Anyways, I'll go with Asuka, haunted Mansion or Haunted Theme park."
"Hmm, I say Haunted virtual video game, that way it's not that real and haunted theme park like the others."
"mrrblee…" Touji muttered.
"Hmm," we still need more thought put into this…"
