I promised a Luigi's Mansion 3 After-Tales kind of story when Luigi's Last Resort Stay started, but my Halloween special got in the way. So finally here is the mini stories I promised! Enjoy!

Dj Phantasmagoria- or Gloria- was in the dance room on her respective floor, creating a scene that you could only get at the Last Resort; she was doing her job as the hotel's Dj and was making many people enjoy their stay at the hotel.

Or that's what she would be doing if not for her latest sticky situation, being trapped in the hotel's elevator.

For the last two hours, Gloria had been stuck with only two other ghosts, but they weren't being any helpful, they only argued.

Gloria wondered how she got into the situation, and how she was going to cry actual tears if she escaped the elevator.

(About two and a quarter hours ago)

"Kay, thanks professor!" Gloria had just left E. Gadd's lab, feeling grateful for him helping her set up more music records for the Dance Hall.

And in celebrating the moment, Gloria was going to use the new music for a sick night, a clash between whoever wanted to come to the party, and the new music as the beats of this party.

Knowing she would need to get ready for the event, Gloria rushed to the Grand Lobby to ask Steward to alert everyone that a Dance Hall event was happening, because people needed to know. Duh.

"Hey Stew!" Gloria excitedly flew to Steward's desk, where the bellhop/ receptionist of the hotel sat.

"Gloria! How's your day been?" Steward's friendly attitude lately has made things good for the hotel, and Gloria knew that it would be easy to ask for the favor because of this.

"My day's been poppin! You know the Dance Hall's event is happening soon, right? I just got some new music and I want people to come."

"No worries! Just when does the event start?"

"Eight thirty tonight." Gloria shook with excitement knowing that her day would end with an amazing event.

Steward pulled out his phone and Gloria couldn't tell what he was doing. But it had to be for a good cause.

"And... done!" Steward looked up from his phone and smiled at the Dj. "Just sent an alarm to make the announcement at eight fifteen."

"Thanks dude! Gotta go set up the dance floor, later!" Gloria happily flew to the elevator where there where two other ghosts waiting, King Macfrights and Ug.

There wasn't anything really going on though, all three ghosts just wanted to get to their floors.

"Gloria! Do you think I should set up a day where I can practice archery?" Macfrights started. "I want to be a better warrior for the future ta come."

"But there's no problems right now Mac, and you don't have a lot of room to make even a tiny archery range." Gloria pointed out. Sadly, she knew Macfrights well enough to know that whenever he has an idea, it's hard to talk him out of it, and if that didn't happen, to the king he would find the comment insulting.

"Well, if must know," The king huffed, "I just so happen to know that there is plenty of space to move the extra objects in Castle Macfrights! I'm creating an archery range!"

"Wait! I didn't mean it that way!" Gloria obviously wasn't trying to hurt her friend's feelings, and she had to make sure Macfrights knew that.

"Ug agree with Dj Gloria. Castle have not space for extra." Ug allowed himself into the conversation. "Don't be mad, be fine."

"I certainly didn't ask you Ug!" Macfrights grumbled. "I 'twas just having a little argument with Gloria!"

"Is royal guy okay? He grumpy today." Ug speculated. "He being no king, he only royal pain in the ass."

As Macfrights's face flushed red with anger, Gloria burst out laughing as Ug was finally getting it when it came to what to say in some situations, and he did well.

"You have the audacity to say that to a king! I have the blood of royalty!" Macfrights snapped. "I 'twas going to put an archery range in my castle to protect the people of this hotel Ug!"

Guilt filled Ug as he realized that Macfrights's intentions were good, but only lacked people skills to agree with Gloria. Awkwardness filled the atmosphere as the three ghosts realized that there was a large number of people watching them.

Gloria knew that her friends needed to talk it out, and not because she wanted to be corny, but Macfrights held grudges as easily as King Boo.

"You guys could go to the museum." Gloria offered. "Talk this thing out, I need to get to the Dance Hall."

The group made their way into the elevator in order to escape the gawks and stares from the many visitors that definitely had nothing to do with any of this.

Gloria sighed as she knew that once she got to her floor, at last she could finally get away from the annoyances of the Last Resort and get ready for an event. Just get out of the elevator, get out of the elevator, get-

Suddenly, the elevator went completely motionless while almost at the fourth floor. Why did the elevator stop? It wasn't at its designated floor yet, so why did it stop?

Said elevator then began to shake very roughly with Gloria, Ug and Macfrights still inside. They clung to the walls for about ten seconds, but it felt like an eternity.

As if Gloria didn't tell herself that she already needed to get out of the elevator, but she was trapped in a tiny falling space.

During the long seconds, only Ug felt pure confusion of what was happening, but it was quite the opposite for Macfrights and Gloria, the elevator was going to fall.

The two braced for impact, but despite the thoughts, the shaking stopped and the elevator did not fall.

"We didn't plummet! Hurray!" Macfrights cheered with joy, but he stopped as soon as the elevator started to move again as a response to the king's movement.

"Great." Gloria growled. "We can't move, and I don't even know how we could escape this elevator! So now what?!?"

"I entirely blame Ug." Macfrights accused and Ug immediately turned around to give the royal pain in the ass a piece of his mind.

"What!?! Ug offended, Ug angry at king. King is blamer!" Ug almost roared with fury, but remembered not to on account of the elevator that was hanging on by a thread.

"I in fact DO blame our cavemanian ghost! He most definitely weighs the most out of all of us and the elevator broke due to that!"

"We all weightless! King guy stupid!" Ug shouted.

"Well I may be stupid, but you are a savage beast! I once saw you hunting down a wild squirrel and eating it raw!"

"Winter coming! Had to prepare arrogant king!"

"Arrogant and savage, both of you shut up!" Gloria shouted. "We gotta try to get outta here, and your stupid argument isn't helping at all!"

The feuding ghosts silenced as Gloria shot them a scary glare. Unfortunately, Macfrights still had fighting spirit in him. One that would certainly bring his end to him.

"Ya know ya can't spell ugly without Ug." The king whispered, not expecting the caveman to hear of course. But...

"BREAKING POINT!" Ug dashed into Macfrights with full intent to injure. It was becoming harder and harder for Gloria to stay out of the conflict when there was three ghosts trapped in a tiny elevator that was about to fall.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Everyone stop moving!" Gloria screeched at the two idiots with her, but they were too into their fight that Ug and Macfrights didn't listen.

"Royal pain being rude! Ug angry!" Ug roared. "Ug no take it no more, Ug want out of elevator!"

"Are ya kidding me? That's why Gloria wants us to stop moving! Can't ya listen ta her!?!" Macfrights shot back at Ug rudely. "I swear, if no one does anything ta get us out of this elevator, I'll lose it!"

Gloria was filling up quickly with rage. She was going to explode if the Goombas she was trapped with did not shut up. She wanted to yell, but that might make things worse. Still, Gloria knew she had to do something, anything, to get out of the elevator.

"You two better quit arguing, we can get out of this hellhole faster if you do!" Gloria shouted. For once Ug and Macfrights listened.

"Uh- if I may ask Gloria," Macfrights stuttered. Sure he considered Gloria to be his best friend, but when she got mad, she got MAD.

"What is it?" Gloria gritted through her teeth. "Make it fast."

"H-how much time has it been since tha elevator stopped working?"

"It has only been- HOLY SHIT WE'VE BEEN TRAPPED IN HERE FOR AN HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES!"

"Shows how much time Ug, royal man and Dj wasted!" Ug bellowed. "Us need get out of here now!"

"Does anyone have any helpful ideas that can get us out of here?" Gloria asked. "I'm missing an event that I'm hosting!"

As everyone began to think of ideas to escape, the elevator moved suddenly and not in a good way. The ghosts knew that they had to make a decision fast.

"Ug wanted to suggest using emergency escape exit, but Ug and royal man were fighting."

Gloria popped up with surprise, wanting to know the answer to a simple question. "How long have you wanted to say that Ug?"

"Ug wanted to say that since the moment Ug, royal man and Dj got stuck in elevator. Royal man stopped Ug from say that by arguing."

Gloria knew that Macfrights was in a not so great mood, but she shot an angry glare at the king now that she knew that he stopped Ug from his very little moments of good ideas.

"Now ya must admit Gloria," Macfrights stammered. "Ya and all of us is the blame for not thinking clearly of an escape route, tis everyone's fault!"

As much as Gloria and Ug didn't want to admit it, Macfrights for once had a good point. The two were just glad that the king was- was. (Shit as your narrator I can't believe I'm saying this.) Macfrights was taking responsibility for his bad actions.

"Macfrights, you... I never knew your heart is big enough to admit your actions!" Gloria praised. "Thank you!"

"Ug thanks king too!" Ug joined in.

"Huh, well I've ruled a kingdom here and hundreds of years ago, I'm just a good leader!" Macfrights boasted. "We kind of messed up and are to blame."

"So what if we're all to blame, let's get outta here!" Gloria cheered. "Ug, you're the taller than us, reach that bronze square!" The Dj pointed at the escape hatch.

"Ug be helpful, Ug proud of Ug." Ug smiled and punched the escape hatch open, which wasn't a good decision.

The elevator rumbled again with much more fury with each second. When it finally stopped, Ug hung his head down with shame.

"Ya know what, I take all of what I said back! If this thing falls, Ug's ta blame!" Macfrights pointed at the caveman.

"What? Ug trying help! King need be more grateful!" Ug and Macfrights quickly got back into their argument. But Gloria didn't want to deal with that all over again, so she floated up the escape hatch leaving her friends to fight to after-death.

I'll leave their stupid fight up to them, not me. I'm outta here! Gloria thought. Someone should be here by now, the elevator hasn't been working for a while, and I'm waiting for them!

Gloria made her way to the escape path, a little metal path that lead to the emergency elevator exit. Even as she was at the emergency door, Gloria could still hear the argument of Ug and King Macfrights.

"Ya bloodhound beast! I've been using my brains ta help us get out of here!" Macfrights was fighting with Ug.

"King is annoying! King doesn't have brains, just like king's mom!" Ug roared. He was hoping he used the your mom insult correctly.

"Ya never insult my moth- wait, where's Gloria?" Macfrights paused. "I think she left!"

"How much time did Ug and King waste?" Ug asked. No longer did the fight matter, if Gloria could escape this elevator, the two could as well.

"So uh," Macfrights mumbled. "Ya think we can escape?"

"No, only Ug escape!" Ug dashed out of the elevator ceiling and to the emergency path, where Gloria was nowhere to be seen.

"Wait Ug!" Macfrights shouted. "What am I going ta do?!?"

"King must wait for someone save him, king like weak princess!" Ug grinned. For once he could one up someone with even a little bit of brains.

"Don't leave me here! It'll probably be hours before someone comes ta help!"

"That or king could get out himself! Good bye royal pain in the ass!" Ug left.

"Is this the way I shall be for the next few hours!?!" Macfrights cried. "Will I get out in time for the next chapter? I need answers!"

Gloria dashed to the out of the stairs, and was blinded by the brighter Grand Lobby of the Last Resort. Finally she was out, but she missed her event. Steward probably wouldn't be happy because of this.

Alas, the only thing Gloria could do was wait until the elevator was fixed and she could go back to her precious music.

But she was sure that maybe she could do something while waiting for said elevator to be fixed. Maybe the workers could clean it while they were at it.

Clean every little thing out of it, every little speck of dust, even get Macfrights and Ug out of there.

Gloria did learn a little lesson though: never get in an elevator with King Macfrights and Ug when they are arguing. Things will definitely get messy.

Huh! Gloria thought of the perfect thing for her to do while waiting. I should check my mail.

Maybe something good would come out of doing that, Gloria didn't know for sure, but just to be sure, she could just because she wanted to.

Yeah, mail. Just the perfect thing to do while waiting for your best friend to get out of a broken elevator.

And of course, Gloria knew full well that Macfrights was one hundred percent going to kick her ass for leaving him behind, but getting out of there would be totally worth it.

Do you think this chapter was a good introduction to this story? If so, thank you and please give me ideas for stories!
