Halloween night, the night that Harry dreads being around anyone at all. The night his parents were murdered. Susan went looking for Harry only to find him at Gryffindor tower Brooding about the holiday.
"Harry, are you okay?" Susan asked as he looked up at her.
"Not really, I'm starting to not like Halloween with it being the ten year anniversary of their murder." Harry said.
"Harry, come on. I've got an idea." Susan said taking his hand to lead him to an area in the courtyard.
"Sue, what is this?" Harry asked giving her a Questioning look.
"Simple, it's a blanket and some food. We're going to have a conversation that we should've had two weeks ago." Susan said kissing him on his neck.
"So, where do we begin?" Harry asked.
"How about here." Susan said unzipping his pants and removing her skirt to make them comfortable.
"What do your plans entail?" Harry asked playing with her clit.
"you'll see in three ways." Susan said.
"of what?" Harry asked giving her a kiss on her cheek.
"well, you see, my parents had drawn out a contract with yours when we were babies during the war." Susan said.
"What type of contract?" Harry asked giving her a questioning look.
"I'll let auntie tell you about it. anyway your mum has a Brother." Susan said.
"oh really, how come i've never heard of him?" Harry asked.
"Because you've been living in the muggle world for ten years." Susan said sitting on his legs.
"So, start talking please." Harry said kissing her.
They ended up having a long conversation about the pureblood family Alliance, also the Potter and Bones family's.
"Susan, what are you trying to say?" Harry asked.
"I'm saying that we're Betrothed." Susan said.
"We're what?" Harry asked.
"Betrothed, we've been Betrothed since we were babies." Susan said.
"are we keeping this a secret?" Harry asked to which Susan nodded.
"yeah, it needs to be kept secret until auntie gets the confirmation." Susan said kissing his cheek.
"Of what?" Harry asked picking her up and kissing her shoulder.
"the confirmation that we were betrayed by our secret keepers." Susan said.
"okay, then let's secretly meet up." Harry suggested.
"Harry, that's what we've been doing the entire time." Susan said.
"Let's go down to the feast. I'm getting hungry." Harry said walking with her down the corridor.
" why didn't you tell me about this on the train?" Harry thought.
"i didn't know how to tell you." Susan thought.
"let's eat, that way we can talk some more." Harry said as he sat down next to Neville.
"Hey guys, listen i know it's Halloween, but you shouldn't run off like that to go snog." Seamus said.
"you idiot, Halloween isn't a good thing." Hannah said.
"how come?" Dean asked.
"Think about the reason why Harry didn't come out of the Dorm." Mike said walking up to the Gryffindor table.
"But he came out with Susan." Katie said.
"it's because of it being the Anniversary." Hannah said.
"of what?" Alicia asked.
"His parents were murdered that night!" Neville shouted.
"You should realize that Lord Voldemort killed the Potters on Halloween night in 1981." Minerva said.
"But Professor, why would he go after Harry?" Hermione asked.
"Because a friend of James Potter was his spies, after Lord and Lady Potter were found dead by Lord Black, he went after the man who betrayed them and killed him." Minerva said.
"But that doesn't explain why he's with those people, my parents would've taken him in." Hermione said.
"She doesn't even know." Susan thought kissing his cheek.
"hmm? what do you mean?" Harry asked.
"Take me somewhere and find out." Susan said.
"What would you know?! you're just a know it All Mudblood!" Ron shouted causing Hermione to run out of the Great Hall upset.
"Damn it! I'm going to kill him." Neville said.
"I'm going after her, and you Weasley are going to apologize to her." Harry said kissing Susan and grabbing ron by the collar and making him follow.
"What did Ron say?" Daphne asked.
"He called her a mudblood, it's something that most of us don't say anymore." Tracey said.
"oh no, Father won't like this and neither will yours." Daphne said.
"I knew Weasley had it in him." Draco said.
"Oh Shut up Malfoy!" Neville said.
"Or what Longbottom?!" Draco asked.
"That's Heir Longbottom to you." Neville said.
"Like i care." Draco said.
"You will care Mr Malfoy, because Mr Weasley just insulted Heir Potters Sister." Minerva said.
"Wha, What? Heir Potter has a sister?" Hannah asked causing Draco and his goons to go pale knowing what will happen.
Harry pulled Ron into the Girls bathroom to find Hermione when they see the troll walking inside. The troll started hitting everything in the bathroom even the stalls until Ron ran up to distract him.
"Hey! over here!" Ron shouted getting the trolls attention while Harry rushed to get to Hermione.
"Are you okay Herm?" Harry asked.
"I'm fine. what about Ron?" Hermione asked.
"Harry! i could use some help over here!" Ron said taking out his wand.
"Ron, levitate the club!" Hermione said while Harry tried to distract the troll so Ron can levitate the club.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" Ron said lifting the club into the air over the trolls head. The troll looks up and the club drops onto its head.
"is it Dead?" Hermione asked walking over to Harry.
"I don't think so, it's just knocked out." Harry said pulling his wand out of the trolls nose.
"Oh my Goodness! Explain yourselves immediately!" Minerva said looking between the trio and the troll.
"Well you see..." Harry and Ron started to say.
"it's my fault professor McGonagall." Hermione said.
"Miss Granger?" Minerva asked.
"I went looking for the troll. I read about them and thought i could handle it, but i was wrong. and if Harry and Ron hadn't found me, I'd probably be dead." Hermione said looking at Harry.
"Be that as it may, it was extremely foolish thing to do. I expect more rational behavior, and I'm disappointed in you miss granger. five points will be taken from Gryffindor for your serious lack of judgement." "as for you two gentlemen, I hope that you two realize how fortunate you are. Not many first year students can take on a fully grown mountain troll, and live to tell the tale. five points will be awarded to each of you. For sheer dumb luck." Minerva said.
As Harry, Ron and Hermione walked down the corridor, Harry hugged Hermione.
"Good for you to get us out of trouble." Harry said.
"Thanks to you, we did save her life." Ron said before Harry pushed him against the wall.
"Mind you, she probably wouldn't have needed saving, if you hadn't insulted her!" Harry shouted.
"what are friends for?" Ron said making Hermione smile.
As they made it back to the Great Hall, Susan, Neville and Hannah walked over to them. Hannah hugged Harry and Hermione but glared at Ron. Susan glared at Ron before hugging and kissing Harry then hugged Hermione. Neville shook hands with Harry and hugged Hermione, next thing they knew Ron was bleeding from his nose.
"That's for insulting a girl." Neville said.
"Nev, it's fine. i took care of it earlier." Harry said noticing the twins walking over to him.
"Harry, we're sorry for what this little git had said to your little sister." Fred said.
