Here's my next Harmione story! Just a warning that both will be more mature in some ways (but not in others). It'll have both Harry and Hermione being touch-starved, loving praise, kisses, hugs, pats, cuddles and snuggles, and both participating in light non-sexual BDSM. But yeah, no penis and vagina entering each other and other sexual what nots in this story. I can't write it, but power to those who can! Also, there will be collars and leashes for Harry and Hermione! And they'll go to the bathroom together (bathing, peeing, pooping, brushing teeth, brushing hair). Changing clothes and being naked in front of each other too.
This story will be a big ball of non-stop happiness and love between Harry and Hermione. With no internal relationship drama between them. But some drama from others towards the two.
Oh and good Dumbledore. And nice Madam Pomfrey and Madam Pince too.

I'm thinking turquoise eyes for Harry in this story, yay. I'm basing this off of the Bristlefrost cover of the Warrior Cats book Veil Of Shadows. And honey eyes for Hermione. Feel free to imagine whatever color you want!

The Sweetest Thing We've Found – Chapter One
Harry watched in horror as Mr. Dursley came close to him. He looked around for an escape, but the man had pushed him up against the car. Violently forced him, more like it. And Harry couldn't get away since Mr. Dursley's wide girth surrounded him from both sides.
Vernon then roughly grabbed Harry's shoulder and pinned him. Wasn't hard enough to crack the window, but it still hurt the boy. Vernon could hear grunts of pain, but paid him no mind.
Harry tried not to cry out (and thus draw unwanted attention) as Mr. Dursley ripped out some smaller tufts of hairs that were on his temple. He only voiced small grunts. Sometimes even those were too much, when the man wanted complete silence. There were times Mr. Dursley punished him for making so much as a peep. But now here in the parking lot, Harry knew that they both were on limited time (Mr. Dursley had to get to work, and Harry school – not that Mr. Dursley cared).
"You'd better find somewhere else to stay after school gets out, you little freak. We took you in out of the goodness of our hearts. But that ends now. You're old enough to be part of this devilish community, so you'd better fend for yourself. If you ever come back to my family's home, you'll die."
Harry could tell Mr. Dursley meant every word and would not hesitate to carry out his threat should he ever return during his school breaks.
Lifting his hand off the boy, Vernon smiled wickedly as Harry began to lift himself off the vehicle. Vernon then shoved the brat once more into the metal. Enough to make the little waste of space grunt in pain (no matter how much the boy tried to hold it in, Vernon could tell), but not enough to garner attention from the people around them. The rushing bodies didn't even look up, lost in their own little worlds.
Vernon relished the hate directed at him from the maggot's eyes. He felt arrogance, that there was nothing the little Potter could do to him or his wife and son. The boy was eleven years old and so scrawny.
"Now get out of my sight!"
Mr. Dursley's harsh whisper was the last thing Harry heard, as he quickly got out of the range of the car. The man then got in and peeled out of the parking lot. Still, no one looked in Harry's direction as he stood there.
Harry absentmindedly rubbed the spot where he was missing hair, keeping at it until the pain lessened somewhat. Not that Harry was phased really by it, no way! He had a huge realization that took precedence. He was finally free of the Dursleys for good! For the rest of his life!
With a spring in his step, Harry started for the station. He was hoping to find the right platform quickly.
Turns out, it was harder than he originally thought. His turquoise eyes searched and searched again. Hoping he had just overlooked platform nine-and-three-quarters, he readjusted his glasses closer to his eyes. But nope, there was nothing like that in sight. Only platforms nine and ten.
Harry thought of asking an adult for help, then immediately nixed that. The person would probably think him insane. A school about magic? That'd get him sent to the mental hospital if he spoke to the wrong adult, or at least scoffed or laughed at. Perhaps they'd have someone watch over him, not giving him any privacy or chance to escape.
Harry didn't want to take that chance. This was his only source of freedom. He'd find some way to get to Hogwarts. He wouldn't settle for less.
Harry then saw a young girl and her family walking the same direction he was going, before hastily following. The family of three were being careful not to be spotted. Harry himself quickly followed suit, gazing around at the large crowd non-magical people. Still, nobody took any notice of him.
Harry swung his gaze back around to the family, only to end up catching the tail end of brown curls disappearing into the stone column. He then noticed the girl's parents casually walk away as if nothing happened. Harry then went over to the area, his eyes wide.
His mind was flittering from thought to thought. How the heck did she walk into the column? Did he imagine it and she went around it? His head swerved around, looking this way and that. No, she didn't. Did the girl say a spell aloud or something beforehand? No, people would've noticed spell chanting and had a reaction.
His thoughts came to a stop pretty quick. Harry forced himself back to the matter at hand. The girl had already gotten to the train, while he was still stuck here on the trainless side.
Ultimately, Harry didn't want to be late. He forced himself to push away all thoughts before closing his eyes. He then psyched himself up by taking quick breaths and gathering his courage. Harry walked forwards and into the bricks between platforms nine and ten.
He barely marveled at the red train before rushing onto it. Hoping in the back of his mind to find the girl he had seen.
He searched for a bit until he felt things had become overcrowded. All around him were rowdy voices of excited kids pouring out from open compartment doors. He didn't want to be enveloped in all that. Harry made up his mind and found an empty room. Putting his trunk in the holding area, he felt himself relax for the very first time in his life.
Hermione couldn't give up. Room after room, people kept turning her away.
There was a lot with only boys, which she unfortunately understood why they didn't want to sit with her. Boys at this age were strange with young girls. At least that was the behavior she gathered from her old school, and it would probably be like that in her new school. And the compartments where she saw other girls her age talked loudly and about makeup. Not something that Hermione could join in on based on the looks she received.
Hermione felt her excitement wane a bit. Suddenly things were turning out to be too much like her old school. She wondered if she'd end up friendless at Hogwarts too.
Trying another room, Hermione saw a mix of older boys and their younger brother trying do spells on their rat that they held down on the seat. After telling them off, she continued on. Another space held a pudgy boy who asked her if she saw his pet. Hermione said no and moved on from there too. She didn't even bother asking a trio of angry looking snobs when she went to another compartment. They had started taunting her and saying rude things the moment she stuck her head in.
Three more compartments left. Hermione tried to hold out hope. She wondered if after this she could go up to the front and ask to sit with one of the prefects she had read about.
After looking in and noticing an empty room, she guessed if nothing else she could sit in there. But Hermione really wanted to find someone she could talk to. A person she could hopefully form a connection with.
Opening the door to the second-to-last area, Hermione felt like she could barely face what was in front of her. For sitting alone in the compartment, was the handsomest boy she had ever seen in her whole life.
Harry could hardly believe it. Here was this beautiful girl in front of him. The one he had followed to get into the magical world.
"Hello, I'm Hermione Granger. What's your name?"
Her voice was so melodious and wonderful. And soft. Very soft.
"I'm Harry Potter. It's wonderful to meet you, Hermione."
He was aware his own voice sounded breathy and maybe even strange. But he felt like he was in a daze. She was so nice. And all she did was introduce herself.
"It's great to meet you too, Harry."
Harry gave a little gasp aloud. No one had ever said his name in such a tone before. Filled with no hate whatsoever. He felt like he was in a dream. He subtly moved his fingers and pinched his leg that his hand was resting near.
Harry wasn't ready for what came next. Hermione blushed so prettily. Harry felt a rush of heat rise in his own cheeks.
"Would you like to sit next to me?"
It was like he couldn't get the words out fast enough.
"Sure."
Hermione was aware her voice sounded a bit breathy from excitement, but quickly found that she didn't care.
Harry's answering smile caused warmth to pool in Hermione's belly. She felt her front teeth bit her lower lip gently.
Harry felt his heartbeat quicken. Oh how cute. She was so very adorable.
She rushed into the compartment and pulled her suitcase behind her. He immediately stood up to help her out. She thanked him and he almost dropped his end out of sheer surprise. Both from her gratitude in her voice plus the fact that no one had ever said that to him before. Harry recovered swiftly and readjusted his hold on the trunk. With both kids lifting up, they slid it next to Harry's.
"You're welcome, Hermione."
She felt her heartbeat quicken as he said her name. She found she liked it coming from his mouth. He said her name so nicely, with no mocking or wrong pronunciation at all.
Sitting down next to each other, both felt such contentment. Harry for the first time in his life, and Hermione from around a kid near her own age.
"You're very kind. Thank you for letting me stay with you, Harry."
"No trouble at all, Hermione. And thanks for thanking me. I've never had someone say that to me before. You're so polite and nice. I can already tell you'll be a joy to be around."
He heard her giggle a tiny bit and saw her eyes shine.
Harry felt such a rush of emotions that he couldn't contain himself. He quickly molded his body into Hermione's side. He curled his arms around her smaller frame. She was softer than him, which was nice. Her body was warm, which his own leached heat from. It was quickly becoming addicting. He tried to snuggle closer.
Hermione felt like she was floating on air. Here was this extraordinary boy that was hugging her! Her, Hermione Granger! Someone that up until now, no other kid wanted to get to know. But Harry was talking to and even embracing her! As if she mattered. And he wasn't repulsed by her or itching to get away!
Hermione felt her body give a teeny tremble in happiness before she squeezed Harry's shoulder blades a little tighter. This made him make a painful noise, and her pause entirely.
A quiet painful noise escaped his mouth (much as he tried to keep silent), but that was miniscule against the pleasure he felt from the contact of her body. So he ignored the spike of hurtful heat that came from his back.
Apparently, Harry's wasn't as quiet as he thought he was. Hermione heard him and pulled away slightly but still remained in his arms. She felt a tiny chill as she separated her upper body from his but that was nothing compared to the worry she now felt.
Hermione's brain was going into overdrive. What caused Harry this pain? Better yet, what made him try so hard to mask it? Did he do so at home or on the train? Was he trying to follow some sort of rule of not showing pain? And how bad was Harry's injury?
She kept staring at him with worry in her eyes. She quickly spoke up.
"Oh dear I'm so sorry, Harry!"
Even her whispered exclamation of worry was nice to hear. It was so comforting to have someone care enough about him to the extent of worrying. He felt like he was being filled with tranquility and love. Like he mattered in this life!
Even though they just met, Harry felt Hermione was the most amazing person he ever had the pleasure of meeting. Would ever meet in his lifetime, really. She was just that special.
Still, another part of him didn't want her to worry. He didn't want her hurting at all.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to broadcast aloud like that."
Her brown curls swayed with how much force she shook her head with, in disagreement to his statement.
"Never be sorry, Harry. Will you tell me what's wrong?"
"Mr. Dursley did this to me. He and his family have never liked me. Today was the final punishment I've gotten from him, right before I left to get to the station. He shoved and held me against his car. Twice. My shoulders and back are kind of hurting."
After his explanation, Harry did not expect Hermione's eyes to gloss over with tears and a sad whimper come from her mouth. He hated that she felt distress. Hearing this, he tried to reassure her as quick as he could.
"But I'll never have to go back there again. I count that as a win, after all I've been through."
"I'm so sorry we only just met today, Harry. If I had known you sooner, maybe my family and I could've helped you."
Harry pulled Hermione closer to him, trying to burrow himself into her. Inhaling her scent as he did so. She smelled so good.
Harry shook his head, musing up the top of her hair.
"No need to worry, Hermione. I'm very glad I did meet you today. You've given me more in the past couple minutes than anyone else has in my whole life."
Hermione would easily say she was very observant. And even though she wanted to stop talking about this awful topic, there was one more thing. She had noticed a bald patch of hair on his head. Speaking into his neck, she quickly brought up her next topic.
"Harry? How come there is a bald area where your hair used to be?"
"Oh. Mr. Dursley also yanked out some of my strands when he was angry."
Hermione felt her tears re-pool in her eyes. She then molded herself harder against him once again. This time her lower half was on top of him, with her legs dangling to the side and off his lap.
"Oh, Harry. You don't deserve any of this. I very much want to help take your pain away. Will you let me?"
"Of course. I'll let you do whatever you wish. And thanks, Hermione."
Lifting her face from where she had it, Hermione then raised her head to be level with Harry's. Taking aim, she puckered her lips and gently lowered them onto the top of his scalp. Trying her hardest to be gentle.
Harry felt like he could've died and gone to Heaven. Scarcely daring to breathe, he felt Hermione's warm plump lips on him. He felt like he had been lit by a burning flame, a feeling like love encompassing his entire being. He had never experienced anything like this. All his life he had seen other people get kisses, but never had his own until now. It was so great! His heartbeat raced and he sucked in a lung full of air. A kiss was wonderful! And from Hermione, it was made even better!
She could feel her face flaming, and opened her eyes. Lowering her head, she buried once again into Harry's neck.
He felt like his body was a filled with energy. He had to do something! Anything to show he appreciated what she did for him! To show her his own feelings! Which were evolving at a breakneck pace that he didn't want to slow down. He felt happy that he felt this way about Hermione.
She knew that her feelings were rapidly deepening, but didn't think to much on it. Or how unusual it would seem. She just tried to focus on Harry and them together. Be in the present more.
Harry then knew what he had to do. Moving slowly, he tried to pucker his own lips like he had seen Mrs. Dursley do to her own son. Harry hoped he was right about this. Thinking no more, he aimed at Hermione's forehead. Trying to be as gentle as he could when he gave her a kiss of his own.
All the while the two never realized that his magic was at work healing him. It was like her love and care for him, allowed his magic to surface. Not hide away when he was in fear at the hands of the Dursleys.
Looking back up at him, she gasped as she took in everything. His hair! Part of his beautiful hair had grown back! It was like how it was before he had gotten hurt!
Harry took her gasp to mean he did something wrong. He tried to pull away (no matter how much he didn't want to) but she hurriedly grabbed his cheeks in both hands. Smiling so big he could see her buck teeth up close. Not that he minded at all.
She whisper-shouted at him excitedly.
"Harry!"
"Huh? What's wrong? What did I do?"
Quickly she put a stop to his worries with a kiss to his nose. Due to her excitedness, her voice rose in volume.
"Nothing at all don't worry. It's your hair though. It grew back!"
"Wow."
He had a dopey smile, he was sure.
"I know! Isn't it remarkable?"
He could feel the imprint of her second kiss on him as she talked.
"It sure is! Incredible, really!"
The breathiness in his voice returned.
Hermione cooed at him and gently brushed her hand in Harry's re-grown hair. Harry felt a tear fall down his cheek. Hermione's hand was warm and tender as she brushed it away. He felt his body tremble at the strength of his emotions going through him.
"I'll be by your side from now on, Harry. I promise."
He was nodding rapidly.
"I promise to do the same for you, Hermione."
She nodded in agreement.
"We'll always be together."
Harry's body became boneless and melted against hers once again.
"Thank you so much, Hermione. You have no idea what your words mean to me."
He sighed heavily through his nose, with a lot of relief. Pieces of her lovely curly hair blew a bit. Harry rested his head on top of hers, hugging her body tighter to his own. His hands then started rubbing her back gently. He felt her own arms squeeze him harder, wondering if he'd have bruises later. Eh, he'd wear them with pride.
All the way to the castle, they weren't disrupted.
Not once.
Sometime during the journey Hermione had shifted to a lying down position. She grunted softly to herself for a moment, trying to get her head comfortable. Harry had then told her to hold on before shucking off his outer cloak robe. He then formed it into a bundle and put it where she intended for her head to go.
Hermione let out a tiny hum of happiness from Harry's actions.
She then scooched backwards and opened her arms for him without a second thought. She felt a rush of giddiness when Harry immediately moved forward into her embrace. Hermione wrapped her arms around his back, lightly stroking his sweater.
Ohhh this was so much better. Lying together. All parts of their bodies touching. It all just felt right. So incredibly right to both Hermione and Harry.
He rested the side of his face on her thick hair. It smelled fruity, like lemons and oranges. He started to count the tiny freckles on the bridge of her nose and cheeks. He got to eleven before he got distracted by her other features.
Hermione noticed Harry's smile grow and saw that he had slightly crooked teeth on his bottom row. Not that she minded. She noticed that he had thick eyebrows like she herself had. And his scar was an off color than the rest of his skin. It looked like an angry red, but Hermione looked closer and could tell there was no infection or anything. So that was good at least. She kept noticing more and more cute things about his features.
Reaching the stopping point, both Hermione and Harry untangled from one another but not entirely. They then sat there waiting for the majority of the students to exit the train. And since it was a long one, they had some time to kill. Waiting to step out and go to their new school.
"Are you excited for classes Monday?"
"Yeah, I am. Back at my old school I wasn't allowed to do my best. But things will change from here on out! I promise you that I'll work hard!"
Harry had a determined look on his face.
Hermione frowned. Not allowed to preform to his best capabilities? Did he get bullied? Or was he lazy? No, he just said he was excited, so that couldn't be it.
"Was your teacher mean?"
At once, his expression changed to unease.
Harry shook his head.
"Well, not really. They'd just ignore me. My relatives were, though."
"That's awful! For not only to being ignored by an adult, but also being abused by your family! It's outrageous!"
Hermione felt the ends of her hair rise with help from her magic.
Harry just kept hold of Hermione's hands.
"The Dursleys used to beat me and verbally abuse me whenever I would get good grades. So I learned very quickly to just stop trying."
Harry let go of one of her hands to drum his hands nervously on his knee, fidgeting slightly.
Hermione felt such sadness. Here was this kind boy, and the people he had lived with were horrible to him. Hermione reached over to kiss his forehead. She tried to show in her actions the pain she felt for him, as well as the reassurance she could tell he needed. Hermione had a sense of his emotions, even though she barely knew him.
"I'm so incredibly sorry you had to go through that, Harry."
If Harry could've, he would've purred. Hermione's voice was so soft and gentle, just like before when she showed compassion for him. His ears quickly recognized this and wanted more. Harry loved it, knowing Hermione chose to talk to him this way. He hoped it would become a pattern.
And her face remained close to him as well. He felt her warm breath on his cheeks and saw the gentleness in her eyes. Harry felt his eyes water a bit, before blinking them back. He cleared his throat of the lump in it, before smiling wider.
That was before he moaned aloud when he felt her slowly peppering his face with kisses. He even giggled when Hermione kissed his scar, a ticklish spot he didn't know he had. He felt like he was melting from being full of peace and contentedness. It was incredible. Oh there he went, more tears started falling down his cheeks. His breathing turned deep and a bit shaky.
Hermione smiled as she continued, maneuvering around his glasses without jostling them. To her, they weren't even an obstacle. Though the things were barely holding together (honestly they were held together by tape), the glasses allowed her Harry to see the world so she shouldn't be harsh with them. Though Hermione had a plan to help Harry either get better ones or seriously repair the ones he had and soon. She was leaning toward the former and would ask his opinion about it.
He kissed her in return. Her cheeks, nose, eyelids, and chin. Trying to show through action and his words just what her care of him meant. He could feel her face heating up wherever he touched. Feeling a little playful, Harry even let out an overexaggerated mwah sound during the last kiss he gave her.
She couldn't help herself letting out joyful squeaks and hums multiple times. Try as she might to keep her eyes open, she found both closed even after he moved on from her eyelids. His actions were so pleasurable and soothing. And his lips warm on her skin. She felt water run down her face as well. But like how she didn't mind while kissing Harry, she felt him continue on too. She counted eight kisses (the last one making her giggle in delight) before he stopped and looked at her.
"Thank you, Hermione."
He then saw she had a thoughtful face on. It looked cute on her. Harry told her so and watched her cheeks turn a bright red.
"Harry, I had a thought. Would you like to stay with me at my home? After our winter and summer breaks start?"
Harry was flabbergasted. He felt surprise at the offer. But eagerly welcomed it.
"Really, Hermione? You wouldn't mind having me around more, even after school would be over?"
She continued to smile wide. This made Harry try to push through his surprise in order to smile tentatively, still in shock.
"I'm absolutely serious! And of course not, Harry! You're already the most important person in my life! I care about you!"
Harry's heart pounded something fierce. He felt like he was living in a dream come true. First Hermione said she cared about him and now she was making space in her life for him when she didn't even have to! He beamed the biggest smile ever at her.
His voice rose in excitement.
"I'd be honored to stay with you, Hermione!"
"And Harry?"
"Yeah, Hermione?"
"I promise you that I will try my best on our assignments, too."
With that, they shook hands and formed a pact.
"Hermione? You're the most important person to me too."
Harry's statement earned him another kiss, which was just as great as the others.
When they finally left the train, they were at the back of the group of students. But Harry and Hermione didn't mind. When they got to the boats, both got in one together. They marveled at the stone castle. They couldn't wait to learn magic!
