Just a brief SasuTema poem I wrote in the flush of inspiration. I just threw it together in a single rush but I think its pretty solid. Well, I'm biased so your comments are more valid then mine, so review!

I walked amidst the dark lands
She among the waves of sand
I slept with a pillow of my hands
While she had a mattress soft and warm
I came crying to her, from the pitch black storm

I sold myself for dark power
And alone I built a tower
Of sweet things that turn sour
When left in the desert's fire sun
I came dyingto her, bloody on the run

A serpent's gaze I tended
With the shadowmen who fended
Off hearts which could be mended
If they only found life's solemn glow
I came tripping to her, from the hellish flow

My rubies can see no more
Tarnished they with sores
And flawed from reading lores
Of those which drink sweet bane
I came slipping to her, coming from the rain

Traitor's danced in darkened days
But I am not one of they
I was true to my own ray
Which came from parting mists
I came falling to her, with three broken wrists

Why to her place I don't know
I had so many places to go
But to her home I slowly rowed
And she looked quite strange to me
I came bawling to her, a corpse washed from the sea

She smiled and took me in
And dragged me from the streets
Of broken cars and broken grins
And the thousand broken feet
She let me see the moonlight
Play across the bed
She let me see the sunlight
Play across her head
She let me see the sand storm
Break against the shore
I, a creature void of form,
Have one forever more
