Welcome to the second story of my wretched fanfic and its mass amount of OCs.

To people who haven't checked out my first story: I'd recommend reading my first story to know what's up. It's less refined, contains fewer words, and is shoddy since it's the first fanfic I wrote, but it gives a lot of insight into what's up. If you don't want to read it, I've added a summary in the prologue that nutshells what happened (and hopefully helps give a good idea of what's happening).

Also, do be warned that this story has Undertale aspects but it doesn't really focus on the original cast. The majority of the characters are ones I made up or are from Camila Cuevas.

Some world-building may not match up with Glitchtale's due to the time this was written.

*Hate- None. A black humanoid who doesn't have the best morals. Blunt and aggressive.

Hate is powerless but is capable of holding rudalite, is physically strong, and can occasionally sense HATE. Currently in possession of Sicko's sword and Pat.

*Tulah- Purple. A long-haired teen with a gray utility jumpsuit. Short-tempered and outgoing.

She herself is very strong, and durable, and can sustain heavy amounts of damage due to her trait. Tulah can also encase herself with perseverance magic for protection.

*Withern- Green. A mohawked teen with a trench coat. Serious and threatening yet protective. Leader with a savior complex.

He Has a very low amount of magic to use but it lasts for a long time. He's able to create and manipulate shields in addition to having overtime healing. He's able to sense malice (aka Kindness Intuition) and his weapon is a magical green bat. possesses some HATE.

*Null- Colorless. A pale, white-haired teen with a monotone colored and striped sweater. Dull.

Null is powerless, but he has an overwhelming amount of unused mana. Currently in possession of magical finger-generating gloves.

*Milo- White. A generic froggit well versed with the English language. Friendly and easily excited. Dog? Cat? Bunny? Frog?

Milo can create fly-shaped pellets of various sizes.

*Mila- Blue and yellow. Wears a black hoodie with print on it. Silent and emotional.

Mila is able to use herself as a projectile, internally powered by justice that can be exerted from her body to launch herself or opponents on contact. She often uses this ability in conjunction with integrity platforms to change speeds and direction mid-air, or increase her launch power. Her aura is effected by the feelings of individuals around her.

=The Helpful=

*Agni- Dark Orange. A teen with extremely long hair and an oversized orange-striped sweater. Easily scared and timid. Looks like a mixture of Betty and Agate...

Agni basically has all the abilites of Glitchtale Betty. She's able to deflect, reflect, and explode magical attacks in addition to knowing pyrokinesis. She also has the ability to sense fear from far away, steal magic from souls, and send people (and herself) into a fearful state. Her weapon is a magical dark orange spear.

*Adel- Dark Yellow. A police officer with a red bandana and cowboy hat. Persistent and confident.

Adel uses a magically enhanced revolver to stabilize and use his magic. Mainly able to use a variety of bullet-like blasts. He also uses regular bullets and occasionally Malicine to enhance his attacks. He has the ability to sense HATE.

=The Helpless=

Note: They only seek destruction.

*The Loox/Sicko- white/black. A large-sized loox filled with a pitch-black eye / A black, cyclops-like being with large arms and claws. Dead.

The Loox/Sicko has regenerative capabilities, enough to create and generate limbs. It is physically enhanced and can also form powerful magical spheres. All this is due to HATE enhancing it.

*CC- Dark green and purple. A child with green eyes and long, flowing purple hair, and runes etched throughout his entire body. Cruel and prideful. Second in command. From the outskirts.

His magic slowly decays an individual upon inflicting wounds and is hard to heal. His main ability is creating controllable, bone-like creatures made out of corpses infused with his magic or souls he transformed (which costs little to no magic) through the use of runes. He can sense life and his weapon is a skeletal pole saw with a blade made of perseverance.

*BB- Green and purple. A small, heavily altered human who has a floating skull-like head and a black animalistic body with a spear-like tail. CC's assistant/pet. Ultimate weapon. From the outskirts.

BB can use her tail to penetrate people's souls and either overload or consume their magic. She is also capable of healing and shooting out beams of perseverance. Lastly, she's extremely, fast, powerful, and durable despite her small size.

*Jessy- Dark blue. A stoic-faced female with a black business outfit and blue skin. Serious, dull, straightforward.

She can manipulate the gravity of herself and her gravitational pull. She can also create platforms made of integrity and change the weight of human souls.

*Impa- Dark cyan. A tall female with a gray hoodie hidden underneath a black cloak. Silent and robotic. Puppet.

Her wires work when she's not around. The wires themselves are sentient and have a mind of their own, they can function even when time is stopped. They're usually either on her or in the sky. They will cease functioning upon being disconnected from either of those two locations. They can also fuse with other types of magic, allowing for abilities normally only acquired with dual-traited souls to be accomplished. Lastly, they can control people.

*Boukyaku - Dark purple. A pitch-black humanoid with long hair, purple swirly eyes, and a razored smile. Unpredictable and energetic yet very self-destructive. Coolest one on the team!

Boukyaku can duplicate himself and the environment around him/ his duplicates can be manipulated. He can only manipulate one area at a time, but these areas can slow or entirely stop time outside of it. He also has a pocket dimension that is connected to his manipulated environments. Good luck escaping that place! His weapon is either his claws or a perseverance knife.

=The Determined Ones=

Note: Friends of the previously determined human, Frisk.

*Mettaton- White. A possessed robot that is reminiscent of a human. Flamboyant and hopeful. Extremely famous.

Mettaton can form a blaster in his left hand and can extend his arms. He's very durable due to his robotic body.

*Sans- White. A skeletal monster with a blue, white-furred hoodie and pink slippers. Casual yet levelheaded. The weakest monster. Missing right arm.

Sans can create bones of various sizes and gaster blasters. He's also capable of temporarily stopping time, manipulating the gravity of his opponent, teleporting, and has a fast reaction time.

*Asriel- Rainbow. A goat-like monster with a green and yellow sweater. Friendly and determined. God of Hyperdeath.

Asriel can summon rainbow-colored lightning and create star-like pellets. He's also capable of creating a holdable blaster and sabers. Without his soul, Asriel can still persist.

*Gaster- White. A skeletal monster with a black trenchcoat and grey turtleneck sweater. Serious and cool yet prone to outbursts. The most intelligent monster known.

Gaster can summon up to seven hands and/or two large hands and a massive gaster blaster. He has a special power that allows his hands and gaster blaster to retain a certain ability from each trait (Except for perseverance due to an incident that damaged his magic). Additionally, he can teleport and use telekinesis.

*Alphys- White. A yellow lizard-like monster with a white lab coat. Timid yet intelligent. #1 MewMew fan.

None, but she is extremely intelligent.

*Undyne- White. A blue-skinned fish-like monster with an eyepatch and sharp teeth. Brave and confident. Police officer.

Undyne can create spears and has inhumane strength, speed, and endurance. She is capable of refusing death and becoming stronger through sheer willpower. Her soul holds an unnatural amount of determination despite being a monster.

*Asgore- White. A large, goat-like monster with golden hair and a beard. level-headed and empathetic. Former King.

Asgore can summon red tridents in addition to using a pattern of physical orange and blue attacks. Lastly, he uses pyrokinesis.

*Toriel- White. A goat-like monster with purple robes. Emotional and caring. Former Queen.

Toriel can use healing magic in addition to pyrokinesis.

=Others=

Note: Everyone else not aligned but significant.

*Betty Noire- Half Pink, Half Red. A young teen with a red skirt and pink and purple sweater. controlled.

Betty has all the abilities of a determination and bravery soul. She can also sense fear and magic, take over magical attacks, steal magic from souls, and send people into a fearful state by manipulating their perception (almost all the abilities of Glitchtale Betty). Her main weapon is either a magical red sword or a pink scythe. Can't hurt 'innocent' beings with her magic.

*Kumu - Half Pink. A pink blob made from Betty's soul and magic. Protective and cautious.

Kumu is capable of shapeshifting and is extremely durable. It's often used offensively and defensively by Betty.

*Pat- Cyan. A patience soul turned into a weaponizable ribbon. Observant and quick-thinking.

Pat can create strings of patience magic in the form of webs and can control her victims. She's limited to one person at a time.

=Sides=

Note: Everyone else.

*Tom- White. An often online friend of Milo and Mila who is a temmie with a yellow sweater. Relaxed and sly.

*Isabelle- None. A close friend to Mettaton. Casual and dutiful.

*Shopkeeper- White. The shopkeeper of Our Town. Kind and chill.

*Store Owner- White. The Shopkeeper's cousin in New Home. Erratic and repetetive.

*Cat- Thing.


*Soul Information=

Orange- Soul of Bravery: A purely offensive soul that focuses on destructive power based on someone's bravery. There are two types of bravery within this trait, physical and moral bravery, that determine the strength of a user as well as how they handle situations. It's uncommon for either aspect to be unbalanced as it can cause potential issues to the user's magic. Common abilities include magical blasts and pyrokinesis.

Yellow- Soul of Justice: A soul based on the bearer's own morals and decisions, it focuses on projectiles in some form or shape. They all have the common ability to manifest projectiles and/or projectile weaponry.

Blue- Soul of Integrity: The most common of all soul traits, integrity is versatile and is based on the bearer's morals and ability to stay true. They all have the common ability to manipulate gravity.

Light blue/cyan- Soul of Patience: These souls rely on their patience and are a balance of offense and defense. Commonly, they have the ability to create strings/ropes. Very skilled patience souls can manipulate time.

Green- Soul of Kindness: Powered by kind actions and a helpful nature, kindness souls mainly focus on defense and support. Common abilities of this soul include shield creation and healing magic.

Purple- Soul of Perseverance: Similar to determination as it relies on willpower, these souls put their minds on goals and are persistent. Their magic is purely close range. Common abilities of this soul include easy weapon summoning, inflicting long-lasting wounds, potent aura, and persisting against fatal damage.

Red- Soul of Determination: The rarest and most powerful soul trait out of all naturally generated souls, there's usually only one determined soul per generation. Bearers of this soul rely solely on their willpower to fuel their magic and abilities. Common abilities of this soul include easy weapon and projectile creation, regeneration, potent aura, resisting death, shield creation, and massive magic generation.

White- Monster soul (upside down unlike a human soul): said to be made out of love, compassion, and hope, monsters are all naturally born with this soul and each one has their own unique magic. Common abilities include healing and expressively unique magic attacks. Some monsters can copy other souls' abilities to an extent, but all monsters have the inherent ability to absorb human souls.

=additional soul information=

Multi-traited souls: A unique condition in which the bearer has the balance of two or more soul traits. It is extremely unlikely to bear this kind of soul as it is often lost with one trait exceeding the other. While those with two traits are often fine, bearers with more than two traits always stem from mental disorders or forbidden spells. All multi-traited souls are naturally stronger and capable of merging abilities or separately combining abilities.

Gray souls: A weakened soul caused by temporarily losing a trait due to a loss in motivation or going against the definition of said trait. As a result, the bearer's magic is weakened or incapable of being used until their issues are resolved.

Colorless: An instance of a white human soul found mainly within children who have not developed a soul trait yet. This condition disappears once a human reacts to a situation in a certain manner that resonates with their soul.

Dark-colored/Inverted souls: These souls are possessed by people mentally disturbed to the point they generate HATE within their souls that inverts their trait. This can also be caused through forbidden spells, but oftentimes the bearer will not survive the experience. Bearers usually are stronger, act in accordance with their major flaws, and are often unnecessarily violent. Users of these souls often suffer major mental drawbacks.

Pink soul: Bête Noire Spell- A being created out of an inverted trait made to fill the wishes of their creator's soul.

Traitless: Discriminated in the past, traitless humans possess no magic and therefore cannot manifest it. However, they're naturally physically stronger without magic powering them and are capable of utilizing rudalite without drawbacks. Their souls cannot be seen.


*Magic Concepts=

Appearance: A human's hair and/or eye color always represents their trait.

Magical weapons: Every trait can manifest a weapon, although it requires the user to often be in tune with their trait and immense practice. Perseverance, Justice, and Determination souls are exceptions to this rule as they can easily manifest weapons at will.

Aura: Every trait has an invisible and passive aura that shields them from some damage.

Shared Feelings: When a person is near an individual with the same trait as to what they're currently feeling, the traited person's magic is enhanced. (Ex. a person feeling determined next to a determination soul causes the determination soul to become stronger)

Emotions: Negative emotions or feeling troubled in some way will cause souls to become weaken in magical power and vice versa with postive emotions. (reversed with Inverted traits)

Monster Determination: Monsters normally cannot handle large amounts of determination, melting and/or dieing upon having too much (exceptions apply). Every monster can generate a bit of determination in them though.

HATE: A negative enhancer that increases the power of a user's soul at the cost of making them more violent. It can overtake their victims to cause destruction, but it can be controlled through willpower. It can be generated through negative emotions and can invert traits too (either by forbidden spells or naturally)

LOVE: A positive enhancer that increases the power of a user's soul based on the caring desire and/or love an individual feels. Anyone within a radius is also affected by LOVE and it is capable of destroying HATE.


*Ores=

Rudalite: A black metal that nullifies magic completely. Due to its nullifying properties, it is hard for monsters and traited people to hold and utilize, however it's a popular material amongst traitless individuals for armor and weaponry despite being extremely illegal within all districts.

Faervonite: A purple mineral that glows in contact with magic.

Arnicite: A white metal that can store and hold magic, making it useful in a wide range of modern day technology.

Malcinized Arnicite: A flimsy, unstable variant of Arnicite mixed with Malicine that implodes stored magic upon reaching max capacity. Useful for projectile devices and demolition.

Malicine: A dangerous yet brittle stone that corrupts any magic mixed with it. Contains large traces of monster dust.


*Locations=

Outskirts: Unexplored and undefined areas outside of the human kingdoms. The outskirts are said to be very harsh with violent creatures and rough terrains. Humans have been known to live there, but very little is known about them. It is unknown if monsters also live there or not. Located beyond the sea.

Amikeko: One of seven districts, Amikeko is the least urbanized out of them all with only towns and farms occupying the majority of the land. Old ruins and structures from the medieval era can be easily found in the district still, many areas are untouched due to the district's inherent respect for history and nature. The district's environment is mainly forestry of various kinds.

Mount Ebott: The only entrance where the underground is accessible and where monsters lived prior to the barrier shattering and freeing monsterkind. Found In the Determino district, near the Amikeko district border.

Determino City: the largest city in the Determino district, near Mount Ebott. It has the highest monster-to-human ratio and is home to a large majority of monsterkind.

-Sub Locations-

MTT2: A bright pink hotel seated near the city's river, across from the Arena. It has had less success than its MTT counterpart, lacking an elevator to anywhere significant, but the rooms and view are a favorite of monsters and humans alike.

Arena: A large arena with a viewing ring and an inner ring known as the Arena Grounds. The place is often used to host fights, but it occasionally also hosts events and has a built-in stage that can readily be propped up or down.

Our Town: Literally called Our Town (not to be confused with Home Town, located in the Determino District), this town is home to The Helpers and the MewMew Club in the Amikeko district. The area is small and isolated with only a few shops and restaurants around, mostly family-owned. The rest of the town is mainly made up of apartments, houses, and condominiums. Some buildings are entirely abandoned due to the population decline prior to the arrival of monsters. Mostly burnt down.

-Sub Locations-

Twin Warehouses: Two Abandoned warehouses with an alleyway in the middle. The place is littered with trash bags and garbage cans filled with flowers. A street away from Hate's Apartment Complex and nearby the Glistening Thicket.

Hate's Apartment Complex: An almost empty complex with only a few insignificant places is a street away from the warehouses. Destroyed.

Monster's condominium: A condominium filled with mostly monsters from the Underground's Waterfall and Ruins. Destroyed.

Glistening Thicket: A forest surrounding Our Town consisting of golden-leaved trees and golden flowers. Located at the very end of IIkira Forest

Ilkira Forest: An extremely harsh and deadly forest stretching across hundreds of miles. Littered with Rudalite and echo flowers on ground level and spider webs on the forest roof controlled by giant spiders. Massive crows that mimic voices and wolf packs are also known to live there.

Special Hell: An area where I, Boukyaku, live at and drag poor souls into from my manipulated environments. Good luck getting help, because time outside of it doesn't resume until I say so! An exit can be formed by destroying the manipulated environment. But that won't be possible!


Other information

Just for the heck of it.

Seven districts: There are seven districts: Determino, Amikeko, Kurago, Justeco, Pacienco, Integreco, and Persisteco.

Where our story takes place: The majority of the story is set in Amikeko; near the border of Determino in a small town within a forest known as Glistening Thicket. This forest connects to a much larger and much more dangerous forest known as Ilkira Forest many miles away. The story also takes place in Determino City where the majority of The Determined Ones live at.

What is The Mew Mew Club?: The Mew Mew Club is a group of teenagers originally formed out of a shared interest in an anime series called Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. Strangely, everyone in the group has unique and powerful magic by coincidence along with an outstanding grasp on combat, but none of them question it. They also are all aware of Hate's reason for existing, except for Hate itself...

Who are The Helpless?: The majority of the helpless is a group of corrupted humans with inverted traits, looking to fulfill their own goals for their own personal reasons. They all share the characteristic of being unnaturally violent – as it's a common practice for them to kill – yet somehow formed a dependency/truce with one another through an irregular series of events. They're extremely well-equipped and can be very coordinated when CC takes charge. Otherwise, they are chaotic and unpredictable and act more like a loose organization.

Who are The Helpful?: Just like The Helpless, The Helpful is a loose group of corrupted humans. However, unlike them, they are much more tame and sane in their actions and goals. Most of them want to put an end to any threat that harms humans and monsterkind rather than feed their own selfish desires, but that doesn't mean they're completely innocent. They all suffer the mental drawbacks of their inverted traits, often manifesting in the form of poor moral and situational comprehension, which can be destructive if left to fester.

Who are The Determined Ones?: Friends of the former determined human, Frisk, The Determined Ones is a group consisting of the most powerful monsters of this generation. Some of them are aware of the world's true nature and its functions as well as the reason for Frisk's absence. All of them live in the Determino District.

Ilkira Forest and Glistening Thicket: Glistening Thicket used once to be part of Ilkira forest over a hundred years ago, plagued by giant spiders and crows. For some unknown reason, golden-colored trees, leaves, and flowers began to populate the area and replace the wildlife while driving away the two apex predators. The environment is now hospitable for humans, but very few settlements exist within it due to its proximity to Ilkira.

Hate Sense vs Kindness Intuition: Hate Sense and Kindness Intuition act similarly in a way where both are 'feelings' rather than visible awareness like Fear and Magic Sense, feelings that are general rather than precise without mastery. The only difference between the two is that Kindness Intuition senses the violent implications an individual is willing to exert while Hate Sense detects the presence of any individual infected by HATE and how much.

Other senses (Magic, Fear, Life Detection, etc.): These senses are visual to the user, allowing them to see traces of what they're detecting (Whether it's life signs, magic, or fear) emitting from an individual or traces left behind. Usually only acquired by individuals with a high aptitude for magic due to mastery or overwhelming power.

My interpretation of froggits: Froggits wear cloaks that give them their trademark appearance and it's completely made out of monster magic. This cloak also makes up their upper head and the magic infused in it allows the otherwise decorative accessory to act as a fully functional head. Their lower face is their actual face and most of their body is hidden by their cloth (their underside and hind legs being the exception on occasion). What they truly look like and what other weird functions they have is unknown for now.
