Hey, kiwi-hana here...just updating it a bit. D

(flashback)

A small child, about 8, sat on the playground out side of the ninja acadamy. No one really liked the little boy, children and adults alike. He sat, pondering, well, nothing really. He sighed.

"School is always so boring." The boy said to no one in particular.

He sighed again, and kicked the playground sand with one small sandal.

On the other side of the playground, another child sat, she had her face in her hands, and she was crying. One of the other children had stolen her favorite toy, her stuffed panda, whom she called Mei. The girl looked up at the tree she was leaning on, and sighed.

The boy, across the playground got the feeling that someone was watching him, and stood up. He heard crying and walked over to the girl, who he recognized to be Hinata , one of the girls' in his class.

"Hey, Hinata!" he called.

Her head shot up and looked at him.

"What are you doing?" he called again and ran over to her. He tripped over a rock and fell on his face.

She giggled, and stood up.

"You…You..…OK?" She asked.

He stood up. "Yeah!" he continued, "Tripping is fun!"

An awkward silence followed.

"Why were you crying?" the boy asked.

"Umm….One… of…..the kids t..o..ok my toy…." She studdered, trying not to cry.

"You mean this?" He said holding up a stuffed panda

"Where did you get that?" she said, shocked.

"I found it in he sand when I fell!" he said happily, handing Hinata the panda.

"Thank you…" she said, a lovestruck grin appearing on her face.

"No Problem…" He said, his face turning an unoticable tint of pink.

"See you tomorrow Hinata-chan!" He called, turning on his back foot and sprinting off.

"See you tomorrow, Naruto-kun……" she mumbled inaudibly.

(end flashback)

"Naruto-kun, do you remember that?" Hinata asked questionbly, looking at her crush.

"Yeah, Hinata-chan. Why?"

"Well……..errr…..Naruto-kun…..that's when……I got…….a..cr.ush on……y..y.ou…….." Hinata murmured, softly.

"HINATA!" Naruto screamed and glomped her.

They both turned several shades of red.
