Chapter 1
Prologue
"How long have we been traveling?" Yang asks her husband.
"From the time we left Patch, we have been traveling for two weeks now." Reese says.
"I see." Yang says as she starts her motorcycle.
"So can you tell me what your plans are?" Reese asks.
"Simple we are going to visit someone who can take me to Ruby." Yang says.
"Got it." Reese says as he started his bike to start following Yang.
"You're not going to ask for details?" Yang asks.
"Nope if it's that simple then why should I ask for details?" Reese asks.
"Cuz your the guy who needs information to perform better on a mission." Yang says.
"Well the only details I need to know is who chopped your arm off?" Reese asks.
Yang then looks at him with a little fear showing in her eyes.
"I don't know what his face is like, but I know he was wearing a mask that was white with red accents, and his hair was colored like Ruby's." Yang says.
Reese then takes a moment to look through the most wanted database then got a hit.
"Is this him?" Reese asks while showing her a picture of him on his pda.
"Yes what is his name?" Yang asks.
"He is the number two spot on the most wanted list, he is simply named Adam or "bull" that name is used among the operators, and he has kill order on him." Reese says.
"No capture?" Yang asks.
"From the files he is classified as extremely dangerous. He has so many crimes attached to his name that why bother with it." Reese says.
"I thought you could capture anyone." Yang says.
"If the objective calls for a capture then yes. But if it's to kill then we do it." Reese says.
"Did you have to do that kind of mission?" Yang asks.
"Yep a one mile shot, I still remember the target just vanishing from my view then I heard a woman scream in the night." Reese says.
Yang then stops and remembers the very same target.
"You did that!?" Yang says with alarm.
"Yep that's when I started to question what I was doing." Reese says.
"Any others?" Yang asks.
"Nope." Reese says.
"Good." Yang says.
"Now who are we going to see?" Reese asks.
"Someone who I want answers from." Yang says as she turns her bike down a road that says bandits on it.
After riding for a time Reese could tell Yang was on edge.
So what Reese did was he drove right up next to Yang and delivered a light hit on her shoulder.
"Hey what was that for?" Yang asks angrily.
"Don't know you need to loosen up." Reese says.
"I'll relax when I get to Ruby." Yang says back.
"So you're about to walk in on a camp without a plan?" Reese asks.
"No I have a plan." Yang says back.
"Then will you tell me." Reese says.
Yang then opened her mouth but nothing came out.
"That's what I thought. You're going in hoping that your strength can do the talking." Reese says.
"Well you have the strength to do anything. How do you do it?" Yang asks.
"I use my brain I walk in with a plan and I think of all contingencies that might work. Then when the time comes then I'll fight. Now will tell me who we are going to see?" Reese asks.
"My mother." Yang says.
"Now the truth comes out. What happened to no secrets?" Reese asks.
Yang then remembered the time she asked him for the same thing when he admitted the truth to Ozpin, so now she wasn't holding up her end of the deal.
"So since you clearly have an idea of a plan of action. What are you going to do?" Yang asks.
"You seem to have an idea of who to talk too. How about you talk your way in then if that doesn't work then fight your way in." Reese says.
"That sounds like my plan." Yang says.
"It is but you were missing one step and it was to talk first." Reese says.
"Reese unknowns coming your direction." Patty says.
"Got it. Yang you take point I'll be right behind you." Reese says as he activates his adaptive camouflage.
