I decided to re-write this story. Enjoy.

It was another Sunday morning, everyone was lazy on Sundays. Sunday mornings, were the type of mornings where you could sleep in very late and not have to worry about school. You couldn't do that on Saturday mornings because Saturday was more of an inventive day where you had to get up and do something. But Sunday was a lazy day, well except for Rini that is. Rini got the exciting job of being a paper girl. So she had to get up at five and be ready by six. When her alarm clock went off, she slammed her fist onto the off button. She whined and groaned for a minute, but finally got up out of bed. She rubbed her eyes, brushed her hair, and got dressed. She then looked out of the window and noticed it was raining.

"Perfect, just perfect." Rini grumbled under her breath as she grabbed a jacket out of her closet. She then went down stairs still half asleep, grabbed a banana, and ate half of it. Finally she rode down the street with her bike throwing news papers. This has been the normal morning routine, ever since she got this stupid job. It all happened when Rini had to pay off this lady, for accidently destroying her whole garden. And with no other jobs to take Rini became a paper girl.

Rini did wince at the thought of being a paper girl, especially having to get up so early in the morning. But it wasn't too bad, she did have only one more block to go. With a little more enthusiasm Rini rode a little faster, but with it raining and the road being wet and slippery, bad luck was bound to strike. Rini's bike started to skid on the road, and before she could blink she lost control of the bike and fell over. The news papers had fallen out and landed in a near by sewer. "Nooo!" Rini yelled as she tried to grab them before they fell in. But it was too late, the papers were gone just like her pay. She pushed her bike back home with dirt on her face and a scratched up knee. By the time she was back Serena was up eating pancakes in the kitchen, she pulled up a chair next to her. Serena's father came in with a smile and looked down at Rini.

"So where's the paper?" He said with a smile, he was proud of her for taking responsibility and getting a job, even though he did offer to pay off the damages. So that's why it was hard for Rini to say she screwed up again.

"Well.. Ummm..I-I umm.." A loud bang at the door had cut her off. She looked out the door, and saw nothing was there. She then looked down to the front porch. "Huh!" To see a news paper sitting there. She picked it up confused. "Who would put this here?" Soon enough her question was answered, when a envelope had fallen out of the paper. She opened it up and read the letter inside.

Dear, Rini

Don't worry about the news papers, I've taken care of it.

Sincerely, your secret admire

Rini then found a golden locket inside of the envelope. She stayed there shocked for a minute. Who was this guy? And why was he interested in her?

"Hey Rini! What are you doing out there?" Serena yelled, interrupting Rini's thoughts.

"Oh umm...Just getting the paper!" Rini said as she put the envelope in her coat pocket, and picked up the news paper. "I hope this is a good thing." She said coming inside.
