A Death Prevented

I fall down,

Strait to the ground.

I scream from the pain,

And it begins to rain.

I hear the ambulance,

And all is a dance.

I see many faces,

From many distant places.

Screaming I hear it everywhere

Yelling it's in the air.

People rushing to save my life,

They try their best, and they get the knife…

OUT!

They run about.

They hold my tight,

And wish me a wondrous night.

Telling me to hang on,

For just one moment long.

I wish for my mother,

My sister my father.

But none of them appear

Everyone that was here,

Just decided,

To disappear!

They rush me in,

Some freaky bin.

The doors they open,

My whole body feels broken.

I'm asleep at once,

For what feels like months.

Wake up…I hear

My dear!

Mom, dad, sister,

Everyone around me begins to whisper.

I'm alive again

I'm well again.

Can't you see I'm better?

For goodness sake

I am better.

They saved my life,

Got out that knife,

I had fallen on,

At dawn.

My life isn't that same,

But at least I know my name.

They saved me from certain death,

And now I'm better, I need my rest.
