Beyond the worlds familiar to you, there exists another. Born from the alternated choices that you've made.

A universe reflected from the familiar, yet different.

Legend speaks of a Steller collision. Which created a bold new universe, forging millions of universes across all of space and time. Every moment of the many worlds has been split off to create millions of other universes. To the point that each of these new worlds even has its versions of the multiverse within them.

The BRANCHES.

Every choice is spread out across space and time across infinite worlds. Every existence is multiplied by possibility and choice.

At its center lies the mirror, the only gateway to the main continuity. Across them all, millions of enemies looking to escape the BRANCHES and threaten the main continuity of the timeline. If any of these threats were to make it past, they would be able to make it through the mirror, meaning that they could threaten continuity. These malevolent forces wish to find and shatter the mirror to gain its power.

Whoever controls the gateway to the main continuity, can escape one BRANCH of reality, and split off to threaten the rest of the BRANCHES. If that were to happen, the BRANCHES would cease to exist. All of their existence would turn into chaos. But luckily with the BRANCHES come champions...people whose lives mean life or death for the entire BRANCHES.

Its power can rewrite the destiny of anyone in any world. It either be BRANCH or main continuity. These worlds show universes where villains could win, relentless and dangerous foes that will never stop fighting.

They must learn to stand together against this unrelenting threat. As the darkness closes in, all must come to fight and protect the mirror to save the worlds that are both familiar and completely strange to them.

ACROSS THE BRANCHES

Showing off the stars of all of space and time, a web started to form around the stars. In the darkness, a figure wearing a giant red cloak appeared.

"Now I know this is a bit confusing." The Spider Supreme commented. "Everything seemed to have fallen off the rails in one moment. I've been trying to save the world before it was too late...but it just might be too late. I tried to do everything to save the universe, my world, every world...but it seems I was too stubborn."

"Wow, starting off dark, aren't we?" A female voice interrupted him.

"What are you doing?" Supreme asked.

"I'm narrating." She replied.

"No, I'm narrating," Supreme told her.

"Why you? I feel like I could do a better job considering how you're starting this out." She stated.

"Are we really arguing about this?" Peter Allen asked them. "How about I take over?"

"Wait, why should you get to do this? Why not me?" Peter Parker asked them.

That's when all four of them started to interrupt one another, talking over each other and arguing about who should narrate.

"Alright, alright!" Supreme cried to get them to stop. After things quieted down, he decided to give an idea. "How about we hit the reset and do it on our own time?"

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Peter Parker asks.

"Most likely." Supreme shrugged.

"I can live with that." She replied.

"Sure." Peter Allen agreed.

"Let's start from the beginning." All of them decided to start and the timeline reversed back to the beginning.

BRANCH-21:

"Okay, then let's start from the very beginning." The Spider-Man of this universe stated.

Peter Parker-Coulson was sitting in the middle of the Sanctum Sanctorum. He was sitting and suddenly began to float off the ground with the help of the Cloak of Levitation.

"My name is Peter Parker-Coulson, and for the past two years, I have been the one and only Spider Supreme."

Peter appears through a dimensional portal and the Cloak waved in the wind as he stood on the top of the Sanctum.

"You know how I got here, but I'll give you a rundown for you newcomers."

On the day of Gwen Stacy's funeral, more than a few tears were shed by everyone, especially Peter. A few of Gwen's friends showed up along with her parents and brothers, who all knew Peter. He got the report of her death, and it explains to him that he couldn't have done anything to save her. But that doesn't stop him from blaming himself.

"I failed to save the woman I was in love with, which led me to go down a different path than Agent S that you already know."

Peter Parker-Coulson was currently searching the world, looking for answers for any way to bring her back. His guilt has caused him to question his moral compass. Questioned his mission.

"I didn't know what I was going to do. But I wanted to make things right by trying to save her...finding a way to bring her back."

Grief struck; he found his way...to Kamar-Taj.

"Once I found my answers through the Mystic Arts, I found my true calling."

Spending months learning of all of the mystical powers that lie just beyond his fingertips, Peter was a natural sorcerer. But for reasons beyond anything he could possibly imagine.

"As time continued, I was drawn further into the powers and was beginning to see the real reason I was brought here."

When he was looking through the library, he came across a page regarding the Eye of Agamotto. A powerful weapon that could apparently conjure the being to see into the future, alter the past, and many other things.

"But then the Ancient One showed me the truth..."

Ancient One brought Peter to a room with several doors, an opening between the two doorways, and a giant globe in the center of the room.

"While other more well-known heroes like the Avengers protect the world from physical dangers, we sorcerers safeguard the universe from mystical threats." Ancient One explains the best that she could while three orbs show up around the globe. "We have three Sanctums around the world." She then gestured to one of the doors. "That one leads to Hong Kong." Then she gestured to another. "That one is for the New York Sanctum." Then she looked to the final door. "That one leads to the London Sanctum."

"And what's that?" Peter asked as he looked at the giant circular mirror on the wall, rippling as if it were a puddle.

"We call it many things. The Shard. The Mirror. Reflection." Ancient One explained as she strolled over, and Peter followed her towards it. "You might call it a singularity. A... doorway of sorts. To peer into the other worlds. Alternate dimensions."

"Other worlds? Dimensions?" Peter asked as he walked over to her side and watched as she waved her hand in front of the mirror.

"A way of looking through the Web of Life. See how things are turning out in our mirror worlds. Or BRANCHES if you prefer. They go by many names. Beyond the worlds familiar to you, there exists another."

"Look! It's Spider-Man!" They hear a voice cry within the mirror and reveal Peter Parker-Coulson, in a different life and path he could have chosen.

"Every decision you have ever made has caused a singularity, allowing the universe to split into two. A universe that reflects the real world it came from, but different. And at the center of them all, every world has a Mirror such as our own." Ancient One explains as he then sees the ripples form an image to show other realities.

A reality where he was fighting a giant, muscular Green Goblin in a forest, with...a Disney princess? Okay.

Another reality that looked like some sort of Noir movie with a darker and older Spider-Man in a dark trench coat and hat.

"I'm justice." Another reality Spider-Man stated over two people he had cornered.

Then the ripples showed a new reality where dragons existed and were being ridden by Vikings and fighting off other villains. This one showed a Dragon King and a Snow Queen, fighting off a giant dragon.

"There are parallels, things that you can call Fixed Moments in history with all of them." Ancient One continued to explain. "Moments that are always going to happen. Moments that nobody can change."

Peter started to see why she was telling him this and was worried about his next words. "Gwen's death?"

"A fixed moment in time that resulted in many alternate realities." Ancient One said and showed the original timeline where he became a hero, met Ava, and everything afterward. "We protect our world and many others from threats that cannot get past us...darker threats."

"After her death, I became Spider Supreme."

Fighting off Kaecilius and allowing him to get a strike to kill the Ancient One. She was killed, and Peter fought to defeat Kaecilius and protected the world from Dormammu of his world.

"Dormammu, we need to talk..." Peter declared, activating the Eye.

That was the day that the Agent of science and logic became...Spider Supreme. Protector of the Web of Life, the warrior for the Mirror of the BRANCHES, defender of the Eye of Agamotto.

Using the Eye, he looked into the future for any threats that would be coming their way.

"Thanks to the Eye, I was able to see the future and was able to predict problems to come. I saved S.H.I.E.L.D. I stopped Thanos. Stopped Tony from creating Ultron. And there were a few other villains I needed to deal with..."

Peter walked up the stairs of the sanctum and spun the Cloak around his neck before feeling something was wrong...

"That's when something weird started to happen..."

Peter then opened his eyes to notice then notice he was in a giant area surrounded by space and webbing.

"I've begun dreaming..."

Peter floated in the middle of a large room, surrounded by nothing but darkness. He wears the Cloak of Levitation over his version of the Spider-Man suit. Being more of a technical/mystical mix.

"Every night, I have dreamed the same dream..."

Peter then opened his eyes to notice then notice he was in a giant area surrounded by space and webbing.

"I'm by myself. But never alone."

"These are your first steps. Rise and take them." A strange voice calls out through the darkness of the night as a part of the webbing glows.

"I may not have birthed you, but I love you, Peter. And I promise I will keep my word to keep you safe." The voice of Hope Van Dyne was heard as another part of the webbing glowed.

"You're a weird kid. But something tells me you're important." Selena Kyle is heard echoing through the stars.

"Leave Gwen out of it..." George Stacy begged.

"They're always talking about me, but never to me."

"My name's Elsa." One of the Elsa's out in the universe introduced herself to a Peter Parker out there.

"There was no other way." The voice of an alternative Sorcerer Supreme said.

"When I found you, you were just a child. You've grown into much more." T'Chaka tells Peter.

"I am the Invisible Woman!" Susan Storm tells an alternative version of Peter.

"It's Batgirl, Woman is already taken." Barbra Gordon tells Peter.

"HYDRA bred you to do one thing. Conquer the world!" A HYDRA official tells Peter.

"The world is changing, Peter, we need to change with it," Natalia tells Peter.

"I am the Watcher..."

Peter then started to roam down the spiral of stairs that he creates and wanders around the webbing.

"This is nothing new. Ever since the death of the Ancient One, I've heard their voices. I am the only Spider who has heard their voices. Because I am the one who spends the most time around the Mirror. I see every reality. I hear every voice. I listen but promised to never interfere. Then the dream starts to change..."

Peter then watched as the web started corroding and realities were starting to become closer and closer. Grabbing his head, he feels immense pain coming that was followed by visions and voices.

Peter starts to run, and the entire world literally turns upside down, causing him to fall and crash. When he tripped and fell, he looked around to see he was in a world with a crater.

Leaping down into the crater, he found a body. Once he turned it over, he noticed it was a body that belonged to this world's Spider-Man.

He then heard screams and spun around to see he was in a different world, watching someone eat Spider-Man.

He rises off the ground and smells the air then look over towards Peter. "I see you..."

Peter then freaked out as he tripped on his cloak and fell into a swirling vortex.

He saw flashes of different Spider-Men and women. One was of Gwen, in a timeline where she was bitten by a spider and given powers similar to his.

"My name is Gwen Stacy."

Another was a branch of the main reality that shows Spider-Man just starting his path as a hero.

"I guess I'm Peter Allen..."

One more shows another branch of the main timeline that showed Peter in an Iron Spider suit.

"Janet, we got a situation!"

Peter then gasped as he woke up and got defensive as he almost activated the Eye.

"And every morning...I have the same nightmare."

Then just as he blinks, there was a flash of the man who sampled on the dead Spider-Man.

"I can't help but feel...something is coming. And when that day comes...the whole multiverse of BRANCHES might be in danger. As well as the entire Web of Life..."

Peter then felt the entire room shake and raced outside of the Sanctum. That got his and Wong's attention and he and Wong ran outside to find out what was happening. As they made it outside, they looked outside and saw there was a giant singularity forming.

"Oh my god..." Wong said.

Peter however noticed something that this moment was now going to now rupture the space-time continuum. The mirror then started to fracture, cracking to the point that the universe has become weak and vulnerable.

"Morlun..." Peter whispered to himself. "He's coming."

Peter Supreme then held his hand to the Mirror, allowing his body to absorb the ability to travel the BRANCHES.

"I have found that a dark soul was coming through the BRANCHES. He was trapped for years, but the singularity freed him. If I don't stop him before it's too late, Morlun can devour and destroy the BRANCHES. I have to find where he is. I have to protect the Web of Life. I have to travel the BRANCHES. And most of all...I have to hope I'm not already too late."

BRANCH 65:

"Alright, people. Let's start at the beginning one last time." A woman in an all-white suit said as she leaps off a tall building.

She wears a black bodysuit with white areas that form a spider design, a white hood with the interior lining magenta with cyan web patterns, matching magenta-and-cyan designs on her upper arms, and cyan soles to her boots.

"My name is Gwen Stacy. I was bitten by a radioactive spider. And for the last two years, I've been the one and only Spider-Woman. You guys know the rest."

Gwen then shows up on the screen banging on a drum set.

"I joined a band."

Gwen's dad is shot at while he is on patrol when a web comes in and yanks him out of the way of the bullet.

"Saved my dad."

Spider-Gwen deals the death blow to the Lizard Monster only for him to turn into Peter Parker as he dies. Gwen was devastated by the action and cried as she thought she could save him. He was her friend, and she may or may not have had a small thing for him.

"I couldn't save my best friend, Peter Parker. So now I save everyone else."

Gwen walks down the street with her hands in her jacket as she sees all the people around her having someone to be with.

"And I don't do friends anymore. Just to avoid any distractions."

Gwen then stands over the city and felt her senses going off.

"And one day this...weird thing happened."

Gwen looks to where the senses are leading her, and she sees a portal open up in the sky that sent a man through.

"...and I mean, like, really weird."

Gwen swings off in the direction that everyone was running away from and was met with Morlun sniffing the air before turning around and noticing her.

"You!" Morlun cried.

"Me?" Gwen asks, not sure what she did.

"I can smell the Web inside of you." Morlun declared as he started to march towards her.

"Smell the what in me?" Gwen asked as she sniffed her arm. "Do I stink that much? I mean, I do sweat a lot-"

But her humor was cut off short when Morlun appeared in front of her at lightning speed. He grabbed her by the throat and started to choke her. Gwen punched him in the face, hoping to do some damage to him but ended up only annoying him.

"Yes, fight." Morlun mocked as he breathed her in, sucking the life force out of her. "It makes you all the sweeter!"

While he was sucking her life force, a portal of what looked to be like shattered glass formed. Several Seven Rings of Raggadorr surround Gwen, causing Morlun to jump back in surprise.

Then a figure came through the portal with the Cloak of Levitation and cast crimson circles and tossed them at Morlun. When they made contact with the man, he was pushed back a few feet, toward the direction everyone was running in.

"What the hell?" Gwen asked as she looked up to Peter Parker-Coulson from BRANCH-21 floating up and helping her stand. "Who are you?"

"I'll explain later, right now, we run!" Peter Supreme tells her, the two running down the street.

"Yes!" Morlun said with glee as they ran. "Run!"

Peter Supreme ran down the street and looked back just as Morlun started to chase them. Thanks to them having equal speed, they managed to stay ahead of Morlun, but he was slowly starting to catch up to them.

"I'm about to do something, just trust me!" Peter Supreme asked of her, knowing there was a way to escape.

"What are you about to do?" Gwen asks him, not understanding who this is, who the man is, or what's happening.

"This." Peter Supreme said as he flicked his fingers, and a crack formed in thin air.

"What the hell is that?" Gwen asked him.

"Just follow me," Peter told her.

The two of them then made their way into the shattered world and landed in the Mirror Dimension. This was a reflection of the real world, but it and the people; wouldn't be injured or in danger. As they made their way inside, Morlun reached them just enough to tear a chunk of the Cloak of levitation before the portal could close.

Looking around the area, Gwen was shocked when she noticed several streets were wrapped, tangling in on one another. She grabbed her head, trying her best to wrap her head around everything that's happening.

"Where the hell are we?" Gwen asks, hearing her own cell as she looked at Peter as he took off the cloak.

"Oh, geez. Looks like he got you pretty good." Peter said as he looked at the hole in his cloak. "That isn't going to be buffed out. I need to find a way to fix you later. This should do for now."

Then an idea came to mind as he removed his mask, conjuring a spell to turn his mask into threads and combine it with his cloak. His cloak was then quickly fixed itself, now rocking a new technical look over itself.

"There we go." Peter said with a sigh. "That will do for now."

"What?" Gwen asked when she finally got a look at his face. "Peter?"

Peter then remembered the fact he was wearing the face of her dead friend and sighed. "Right." He doesn't know how he forgot that this version of Gwen Stacy had a friend with his face. "Hi. My name is Peter Parker-Coulson. I am the Sorcerer Supreme on my world."

"Your world?" Gwen repeated. "How many worlds are there?"

"Infinite," Peter told her as he placed the cloak back on. "Now we need to figure out what to do next."

"What's happening next?" Gwen wonders and look back to where Morlun was. "What the hell is happening now?!"

"That man wants to suck out your life. We need to-" Peter was trying to explain when an explosion went off, sending the two of them flying.

The entire Mirror Dimension shattered, sending the two flying around trying to find their footing. Gwen shot a web and tried to swing when she was smacked into a building. She was used to the normal streets of New York, but not these strange street.

Peter managed to float over and catch her before helped her get onto the ground. At least what was supposed to be the ground in their perspective. In reality, they were standing on the side of the subway.

"What was that?" Gwen asked, the two looking to see Morlun, defying gravity and leaping off buildings to catch up with them. "Oh, god."

"Run!" Peter Supreme cried in terror as the two of them started to run away.

The two ran as fast as they could, trying to keep as much distance between them and Morlun as possible. Peter saw a giant gap and nowhere left to go, so he shot the Ruby Rings of Raggadorr so that Gwen could run across the gap.

"This is just impossible," Gwen commented with every step that they took. "How is this possible?"

"Magic." Peter recapped it as simply as he could. "We need to get through there!"

"Where?" Gwen asks.

Peter then raised his hand, doing a few movements with his fingers, which then caused what looked to be a shattered version of his portal.

The portal had orange sparks circling it, but inside of it wasn't something they could see. It looked like a bunch of broken glass that was pieced together to form the portal.

"What is that?" Gwen asks him.

"Our ticket out of here." Peter declared as he and Gwen tried to race to it.

But the moment that they got too close, Morlun leaped into the air, smashing into the building they were running up, causing Peter to stumble and break the connection with the portal. The said portal fades, and the building starts to bend, causing the two to fall through the skies and for Peter to grab onto Gwen.

When the two touched the solid ground (or solid something or another. The place was becoming one big puzzle) the two ran away when they saw Morlun make a giant leap. He was catching up fast and Peter needed more time to activate the rest of the portal.

Shooting a blast of mist, it immediately froze the ground and Morlun, causing him to slip and fall. Working fast this time, Peter activated the portal and managed to finish this time.

"We can't let him absorb our powers!" Peter tells Gwen, the two racing off to the portal. But the closer they got, there was a gap which formed between them and the portal. "We can't let him get in contact with you or me. Get to the portal!"

"How do we get across that?" Gwen asks, wondering where to go.

"Jump!" Peter tells her, and she did just that.

As they jumped, another piece of a building came down and they managed to use it as a slide. As they were sliding down the building, Morlun broke out of the ice and went back into the chase.

The two of them were inches away from the portal when Morlun burst out of the building and leaped to attack. Since he didn't set off either of their senses, they missed when he went in for a swing and cut Peter Supreme's leg. Crying out in pain, he held onto his leg for a moment before seeing Morlun coming in for another swing.

Working through the pain, he worked fast and casts a spell with some mist forming around them. Gwen watched as the smoke started to circle and surround Morlun.

"Vapors of Valtorr!" Peter cried out, sending a spell out that encased Morlun in stone. "That should-"

Peter was about to take a minute of relief, but it was met with Morlun breaking out of the spell already. Seeing he needed more time to work it out, he cast another spell to stop him.

"I summon forth the shielding powers of the Vishanti." Peter cried out and a forcefield was formed around Morlun. But the second the spell was casted, Morlun immediately started to break his way out of it. "He's too strong." He was sorry to say as he tried to hold him back, seeing the look of terror in Gwen's mask. "I can't hold it." Keeping him back as much as he could, he was able to come up with an idea and looked to Gwen with a sorry look. "I'm sorry."

"What?" Gwen asks, getting only more lost by the minute.

Peter then raised his fingers, and he emitted a white aurora that started to absorb part of Gwen's body. She then started to float as the aurora was starting to enter the tip of Peter's fingers.

"What the hell?!" Gwen asked as she realizes that she was stuck. "What are you doing?"

"I can't let him get ahold of you, but if we do this, it's a one-way ticket." Peter Supreme did his best to explain. "But if I cast this spell, you'll-"

Then while he was distracted, he was stabbed in the leg causing him to cry in pain.

"Finally," Morlun said as he started to suck the life force out of the two of them. "With your power, I will rule all realities!"

But before he had a chance to complete the incantation, Peter Supreme lifted his hand and pulled the portal over the three of them. All of them were dragged out of the Mirror Dimension and sent across the BRANCHES.
