Chapter 1
(Author's note: This is a story that is taken from an event that was in another story I wrote called "Anakin's Return.")
Judge Gomnaz came and sat down in his court. "You may be seated."
The prosecuter was none other than Senator Padme Skywalker. This was a decision based on a few facts:
The prosecuter was unable to make it.
Since Paplpatine was a former senator from Naboo, it was deemed fair that a senator from Naboo should prosecute him.
Padme got up, "Members of the court, Iintend to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Palpatine is a ruthless criminal who has tried to overthrow the Republic and wipe out the Jedi. He should be put to death for his crimes and not be mourned. This man single handled caused the Clone Wars, he poisoned several minds in the process, and last but not least he issued an order to exterminate the Jedi Order." Padme sat down.
The defendant was Moff Tarkin. He knew the Emperor well and he got up. "Members of the Court I intend to prove that my client, Palpatine was in actuality trying to save our great society. He knew of corruption in the Senate. He wanted to rid it of that. There is not much evidence of Palpatine issuing such an order to wipe out the Jedi, in fact he was not the one who even wiped them out for that matter."
Judge Gomnaz asked Palpatine, "How do you plead?"
