Author's Notes: Hey there. This collection is for Enemies and Rivals 100, a LiveJournal community I recently joined. I chose the rivals Ino and Sakura, from Naruto. Enjoy the crappiness.
(p.s. The title means "Cherry Blossoms and Wild Boar." Sakura and Ino. Honest. It just says "Sakura and Ino." In French. Seriously.)

"If you stay with me, I'll make sure you won't regret it. Every day will be fun. We'll definitely be happy. I'll do anything for you. So please! Stay here!"
Ino wasn't sure what to feel when she found out. Emotions raged and jumbled within her as the information turned over in her mind. A fellow ninja, bent on revenge, had abandoned their village. Betrayal. A comrade had left them for his own selfish desires. Hurt. The person she had cared about for so long was gone. Sadness. Ino turned her eyes to the kunoichi in front of her, her once best friend, usually putting on a strong act, now with her eyes shamelessly puffy and red from crying.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM?"
Anger.
"I'll help you with your revenge. I'll do something! So please stay here…with me!"
Sakura looked up in shock. She met the smoldering gaze of her former friend and her expression contorted into one of rage. "What?"
"Why didn't you go after him? Why didn't you stop him from leaving? You said you liked him so much, so why did you let him go!"
"Shut up!" Sakura jumped to her feet, sending the chair clattering to the floor behind her. "Don't you think I tried? I begged him not to go! I didn't see you out there last night with him! I did everything I could!"
"Well, it obviously WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH!"
SMACK.
"If you can't stay…"
Ino stared at the pink haired girl emotionlessly. She slowly lifted her pale hand to cup the newly bruised cheek. Sakura's fists were clenched tightly, shaking as they hung at her sides. She choked back a sob. Turning abruptly, she flung the door open, rushing out of the room. Ino could hear her pounding down the stairs and the distant slamming of the front door. Coolly, she walked over and closed the door as gently as possible. Then, making her way serenely over to her bed, she lay down and screamed into her pillow as the first teardrops pricked at the corner of her eyes.
It didn't matter what Shikamaru and the others did now. Not all that deep in her heart, Ino knew that if anyone could have kept Sasuke home, it was Sakura.
And the tears began to flow.
"…take me with you."
