WHAT'S UP MUCKACHUNGAS!? It's Travez here and I'm going to be honest with you guys… I had a really good thing going here with "Begun by Blood, By Blood Undone" but, as of recently, I had begun to realized that I had made Jon a bit too overpowered, and while it was good at first, I think I need to do this story over again, but bring it to a point that I don't have to rush things! So I am going to post an entirely new story, but with a similar premise for this story!

Now here is what I have planned going forward. This story was a very ambitious project that I am extremely proud of, but I am going to be dialing it back thanks to something I discovered... To explain, I had discovered 3 Variants of Blood Magic from Dungeons and Dragons, the Critical Role Class of Blood Hunter, as well as the Subclasses for Cleric and Wizard, which have given me a ton of extremely interesting ideas! Now, I am sure you have heard me say a number of times, but I'm close friends with a very well known ASOIAF/GOT Author with the PenName of Longclaw 1-6, but I am also friends with another author named BlackDomus500, and not only are they good friends of mine, but their stories are extremely entertaining! In any case, they are going to be integral to my plans going forward!

So to better explain what my plans are going forward, I am going to do something similar to what the Forgotten Realms did with its World. Now to give some backstory to those of you not in the know, the Material Realm of the Forgotten Realms is known as Toril, but it is actually one half of an original world called Abeir-Toril, in which the Gods and Primordials fought over, eventually calling a truce and splitting the material plane in half, then reconstructing them into their own worlds that are in the same space but in different dimensions of each other. Toril is ruled by the Gods whilst Abeir is ruled by the Primordials, and this is the concept I wish to base my new version of "Begun by Blood, By Blood Undone". How I plan on doing this is that Planetos used to be called Planetos-Mundos, as many people in the past have rather rudely corrected me that the world of ASOIAF/GoT/HotD is named Planetos. When the innumerable Old Gods of Westeros and Essos fought against the man-made New Gods for control of the world via Westeros, the Gods came to a truce and split the world in two whilst all of man slept. As such, the Old Gods abandoned Westeros, leaving it in the hands of gods who despise magic, and left it to its fate for when the Night King returns, and took their magic with them to the new world of Mundos.

In Mundos, Magic still exists, but the ability to use it is inborn, not gained through study, but it can be trained and molded depending into something, depending on who trains the user. So going into Season 5 Episode 10, when Jon Snow is betrayed and killed, the Old Gods take their most devoted servant and the Prince that was Promised from Planetos and bring his soul to Mundos, whilst his body is resurrected without it, thus the events from Season 6-8 happen because, without his soul to guide him, Jon's body becomes lost when its identity is shattered. In Mundos, Jon's soul will find that it has been given a chance at a new life, a better life, in a version of the world he knew that has much more magic in it, but will suffer the same crisis as before. The events of the new story will play out in a similar manner to this story, but with one major difference. This world will be a crossover between Dungeons and Dragons and A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon. In this, Jon will discover his talent for Blood Magic, but unlike before where he was broken and overpowered, he shall utilize the techniques of a Blood Hunter, a warrior dedicated to using the Dark Art of Blood Magic to defend others from Monsters, Fiends, and Undead. As he is the Prince that was promised, he shall be the first and only member of the Order of the Ghostslayers, granting him the power to utilize his Blood Magic against Fiends and the Undead (Aka the White Walkers and their Wights). As for Jon's Race, while I am tempted to make Jon a Shifter (basically someone who descends from werebeasts) from his mother's side or a Dragonborn (basically a Valyrian) from his father's side, I think it would be much better if Jon, in this case, to lean more into the idea that Bran brought up "Dornish Bastards are named Sand" in which, Jon will be born a Yuan-Ti, or a Snake-Folk.

Now i know you guys will try to hang me for this but hear me out for a moment, the reason I want to make Jon a Yuan-Ti is because Jon is part Dragon, Part Wolf, however he was born in Dorne at the Tower of Joy, not only that, House Martell is known for having a personal sigil, that of a Snake. So I want to have it that Dorne's Old Gods actually have a way of showing their blessings upon certain individuals born there, and that is by having them be born as Yuan-Ti. Plus, the Yuan-Ti are resistant to magic, can naturally speak the Fiendish Languages as well as Draconic, but most importantly, they are resistant to poison and have a few neat spells. The major selling point for this, though, is that since Jon is born a Yuan-Ti, it actually sells the cover that Jon could be the son of Ashara Dayne and Ned Stark, even if he was born with violet eyes. But that's enough of that for now.

Now where do Longclaw and Domus come into play, well I've actually created this version of Jon Snow based on Longclaw, but also, I'm creating a pair of Characters, one from House Celtigar and the other from House Velaryon, based on Domus and myself respectfully! I won't go too deeply into spoilers, but when Domus and I do Dungeons and Dragons games, he actually prefers to play Paladins, but since there are no Blood Magic Paladins, the next closest thing is that of a Cleric, and trust me, Clerics can become super overpowered if you're not careful. Still with how he plays a paladin in our games, I think that he would do extremely well as a Cleric, especially since the Dark Art of Blood Magic, in the Exandria Setting, was reintroduced to the World via the Raven Queen, who hates fiends and undead, thus making her, in the eyes of some, a benevolent deity despite her alignment being Lawful Neutral. I also chose for him to be House Celtigar, mostly due to him playing a dense anime protagonist when he creates characters, good-hearted, selfless, and loving, but extremely dense when it comes to certain things, but with how the Celtigars claim to own Crackclaw Point, and how they try to enforce it, having Domus, or Daemos Celtigar, be the one to inherit Claw Isle, and his good nature being at the forefront, he has a shot of winning over Crackclaw Point with his good nature. For his race, I'm going to lean hard into the Celtigar's Sigil of Crabs and make him a Simic Hybrid who focuses mostly on the Carapace and the Grappling Appendages Enhancements, all of them themed after crabs.

As for myself, I've actually decided to make my character Velaryon, mostly due to my character's Race, a Mark of the Storm Half-Elf, as well as the Witherbloom Student, which will be explained as him getting some Maester training before eventually quitting, much like Oberyn Martell. In any case, the main reason why I chose House Velaryon for myself is mainly due to the fact I live on an island myself, and my city actually thrives on fishing, transportation, and tourism, while House Lyrandar is primarily the same thing, but also adding them trading in transporting goods, as well as selling weather conditions for other people. As for the Blood Magic Subclass for the Wizard, I will admit that I am descended from either the Aztecs or the Maya (which i don't know), but both cultures revolved around Blood Sacrifices to protect the world. So while I would've liked to go with Blood Cleric myself, I think Domus would be better off with that, given his preferred class and playstyle. Not only that, I do tend to research a lot of things and make sure I have everythign absolutely correct before I do anything, just like Wizards do. Cuz, like Littlefinger says, "Knowledge is Power". So yeah that's Travys Velaryon, based on me!

Anyway I think that is enough out of me, please be sure to Follow, Favorite, Review, and Share not only this story but also my new story "Begun by Blood, By Blood Undone: Brotherhood" with anyone and everyone you know who likes A Song of Ice and Fire, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and Dungeons & Dragons Content!
