CHAPTER SIXTEEN
(chapter title - I Should Tell You)

"Hannah, what the hell is going on with you?" Christopher asked, closing the window that led out to the fire escape so that no one could hear their conversation.

"I'm not who you think I am Chris." Hannah told him, drawing her jacket closer to her. Christopher sighed and removed his jacket, placing it around Hannah's shoulders. She smiled up at him as they talked on the fire escape.

"I should tell you I'm disaster
I forget how to begin it." Christopher said, sitting on the stairs of the fire escape.

"Let's just make this part go faster
I have yet - to be in it
I should tell you." Hannah joined him on the fire escape.

"I should tell you." Christopher sang.

"I should tell you." Hannah echoed.

"I should tell you." Christopher sang.

"I should tell I'm a dancer at a club called The Wolf's Howl." Hannah confessed.

"I know you're safe when I'm on the prowl." Christopher told Hannah, standing up and climbing down the steps of the fire escape.

"I should tell you." Hannah sang, following him down the stairs.

"I should tell you." Christopher echoed, taking Hannah's hand in his and climbed down the last flight of stairs.

"I should tell you." Hannah whispered. She knew that she had nothing to hide from her wonderful boyfriend.

"I should tell you,
Well here we go
Now we-" the both of them sang.

"Oh no." Hannah said, shying away from Christopher.

"I know - this something is, here goes-" Christopher comforted her.

"Here goes." Hannah told him, taking her hand in his as they walked.

"Guess so, it's starting to-
Who knows-" Christopher said, smiling at Hannah.

"Who knows." Hannah told him, squeezing his hand.

"Who knows where?
Who goes there?
Who knows?
Here goes?
Trusting desire - starting to learn
Walking through fire without a burn
Clinging - a shoulder a leap begins
Stinging and older, asleep on pins
So here we go now we-" they both sang, climbing back up the stairs of the fire escape.

"Oh no." Christopher muttered.

"I know." Hannah told him, smiling wickedly.

"Oh no." Christopher's eyes widened as Hannah continued to smile at him.

"Who knows where - who goes there?
Here goes-
Here goes-
Here goes-
Here goes-
Here goes-
Here goes-" the two of them sang. As they reached the loft, Christopher leaned in and kissed Hannah firmly. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close, too afraid to let her go.
