A few years after the wedding, Junior's father awoke to an unusual sight.

"Lisa?!" He exclaimed. "Lisa where'd you go?!"

Dan had searched all over the house and finally he found his wife, her head over the toilet in the restroom.

"L-Lisa, Honey, are you alright?" He asked, coming to his wife's aid. "Do you have a fever?! Cold?! A stomach virus?!"

"You're…You're going to be…" Lisa stammered before throwing up yet again.

"WHAT?! WHAT AM I GOING TO BE HONEY?!" Dan exclaimed, trying to comfort his wife.

"—a daddy…" Lisa managed to squeak out.

It took only a few seconds for this to register in Dan's mind, but when it did he was beyond overjoyed. A father?! He couldn't imagine being called "Dad" when he was young, but time passed since then and he felt more than ready.

"WOOOHOOO!" Dan exclaimed, whopping about, then he cheered a bit more quietly since his wife was still sick. "What do you need hon, I'll help you every step of the way."

"Thank you sweetie..." Lisa replied, and after brushing her teeth, gave Daniel a nice, long kiss.

Dan certainly didn't break his promise and helped out Lisa for the whole nine months. She ate healthy, he took her to the OB-GYN when needed, and even bought her some prenatal vitamins for the growing boy within her womb.

Yes, these two would soon be blessed with a boy, arriving in the summer of 1988.

"Daniel Phillip Asparagus, Junior." Lisa spoke, holding the baby boy at the hospital within her non-existent arms.

"Wonderful name, How about we just call him "Junior", for short?" Dan asked.

"Perfect." Lisa replied, giving Dan a kiss.
