The alarm rings, signifying that another day of their marriage has begun.

Mirei wakes up first, as usual. She uses her feelings to find the right place to wake Yu-yu up. "Time to wake up~" she whispers into his ear.

"Good morning, Mirei."

"Yu-yu." Her hands touches the chin and lip of her dear, "Good morning."

Their lips connect gently. Slight blush can be seen from both of their faces.

"Mirei...?" Yu-yu is bewildered over such a way to start off the day.

"Isn't it exciting to be woke up by a kiss of your lover?"

"...Yes."

"See!" Mirei happily brags her accuracy of Yu-yu's feelings.

"Thanks for the kiss, Mirei."

Mirei swiftly chuckles, "Come on! We aren't in a customer-service relationship. This is a marriage!"

"Let me rephrase it then. Your kiss truly energizes me!"

"Ping-pong! I am so happy, extremely happy to hear that. Your words make my heartbeat a roller coaster!"

"I'm glad to hear that from you, Mirei."

"Ahahaha! Love you, Yu-yu." Mirei kisses him on the cheek.

"Love you too, Mirei." He answers her advance on her forehead.

Yu-yu arrives in a construction site (Managed by Megumi). He often comes here whenever Megumi is busy with a project.

"Megumi-san!"

"Hi, Yu-yu!"

"Let's get working today!"

"Nice spirit! You look very hyped up. Any reason?"

"I will tell you while we are working."

"Okay, okay."

Though, Megumi may have already know what Yu-yu is about to tell her. She probably knows him too well, after all. For her to be his beacon of hope back then, for her to be his pillar of support when competitive pressure gets into him, for her to be his teammate. Yet...

"I will be getting married soon. With Miss Mirei." Yu-yu announces the major new to everyone in Blackout.

"WOAHHHH! This is SHOCKING to hear, ladies and gentlemen."

"You may be overreacting this, Tomari-san..."

"No! No! NO! This is genuine surprise! Listen, young leader. At that age of yours, having a lady on your side is a privilege of only those who are blessed enough. Also, this is the first time in the history of Blackout that we get to see a team captain getting married. Know this, Yu-yu. Marriage is a life-changing event! The day after you make a vow to your princess, things will change forever for you!"

"I see."

"Would you come here less often, leader?" A team member asks Yu-yu.

"I will try to keep up with the normal schedule. Mirei has no problems with that."

"I have a question, leader..."

"Me too..."

Everyone is asking Yu-yu about many things. Some are curious about the marriage. Some are worried about Yu-yu's future involvement with the team. Nonetheless, the announcement has brought a major revelation in the Land of Dreams.

"What's wrong, Megumi?"

"Nothing in particular, Zakusa. I'm going home."

Yu-yu, from afar, witnesses a silent Megumi. He feels a bit concerned.

"It will. In the future, this will be a nice building to live in."

"After wearing down old towers, new ones have to be built under a reasonable time. A wasteland would be a squandered opportunity."

"Megumi-san, are you in need of people anytime soon?"

"I'm fine. Don't overwork yourself."

"Yet you are taking tons of projects from what Danji told me."

"I know my own limits. Sheesh."

"Okay, okay. Whenever you are occupied, I will lend you a hand."

Megumi smiles. "You are such a kind boy, Yu-yu."

"Thanks." The blueberry reddens.

Mirei has just finished her strawberry cake. Decorated with whipped cream and some strawberry slices on top, it is a treat to witness.

"Not bad for testing purposes."

"Wow! This looks amazing!"

"Have a try, Akiko-nee-san."

"Okay! Mhmm... Have you been practicing baking stuff?"

"I learned baking some times ago, but something happened back then. Then I changed my career to being a streamer."

"You would have been a good confectioner, honestly."

"Maybe I should open my own bakery then."

"Good plan. Yu-yu and you could work together. Ah, the imagination..."

"Can I have this type of cake, manager?"

"Mhmm. Mirei, here's the order...!"

"Gotcha! Help me package the cake, Yu-yu!"

"Right away!"

"Ahaha..." Akiko is daydreaming about a potential imagination.

"Sorry, Mirei-chan. Akiko-nee-san is a heavy dreamer."

"It's fine." Mirei replies to Yukiko.

"How's Megumi-san doing?" Mirei rests on the bed.

"She's quite tackled with work."

"Are you going to help her more often then?"

"If she needs it. Would you miss me if I am more busy?"

"Kinda. Not so much."

"Well, it's a bit hard sleeping lonely, right?"

"One day we will get used to it, dear."

"Mhmm. I will turn off—"

Something is holding Yu-yu back, clinging on his pajama. It doesn't let him go, yet.

"Yu-yu... I still want to talk with you more."

"Ah. Okay!"

Mirei wraps her arms around Yu-yu. She leans to his ear to whisper something.

"Do you want to do it soon?"

Heavy breathing. Awkward silence. Gulping.

"I should clarify that. Opening a bakery, I mean."

"Heh. That was a jump-scare."

"I apologize. What do you think, Yu-yu?"

"We could work together as a couple. It would be fitting also because love is sweet."

"Streaming and doing odd jobs aren't really compatible, but making pastry is. It would also be easier to look after our kids..."

"...!?"

"F-Forget it! Please! It's bedtime! Goodnight!" Mirei wraps herself in the blanket.

Yu-yu adheres to her plea, "Then... Goodnight, sweetheart."
