Fury had left everything she knew behind to get the remnants of humanity to safety, where ever they went would be a better place to be than the Earth they had left behind. Anything was better than that act of corruption, no thanks to the Destroyer and the Charred Council's involvement. As far as Fury knew she was now the last of the Nephilim with her brother War either imprisoned in the depths of Hell or dead, Strife dead from his last stand to defend humanity and her escape and Death missing. Saying he was missing was putting it very lightly, Death was out there and he would find her after doing whatever he needed to do. She let the thought wash over her, Fury knew how impossible her hopes were at this current point in time traveling in the realm between worlds seeing the light up ahead where the human refugees began to vanish, wash this the destination? Was this the end?

Fury needed to protect the refugees by any means, she advanced toward the lights where the refugees went through letting the blinding white light engulf her.

Feeling cool air hit her face, Fury ran up to the refugees before stopping seeing other humans wearing something akin to enforcers of the law whilst two others were, strange to her. That was a first, nothing seemed to surprise her anymore, that's what she told herself anyway. Staring at the pair talking to the refugees she approached the group, tensions rose as the first man wearing a scarf and a pair of goggles glared daggers at her, "That's far enough miss."

Fury did not like this one in the slightest, whoever he was he had some nerve to give orders to a horseman, "Your words are worthless mortal," she said as the refugees rushed to her for protection, "Miss are you in charge of this group," one of the officers asked placing a hand on his hip, "What is your agency?"

Agency? What flesh-boiling monster came up with that? Are these empowered mortals bound to some form of higher command or something? "I am with these people to escape the mounting chaos of our former home," she said staring into the eyes of the first before her view was blocked by the muscle mass of the second man, a being they called All Might, oh the ego and hubris of man. It amused her slightly looking the man up and down, he looked like he was hand-crafted by immortals, shaking her head she let the thoughts leave her mind letting his words cut into the haze, "Who attacked your home, perhaps we can save anyone else there," All Might said placing a hand on her shoulder. Fury backed away from All Might and averted her gaze, "We are the last," she said before turning her back to them and placing a hand on Scorn, "We need to find somewhere to call home."

"Plenty of empty homes in Musutafu, Miss," She heard the first, an underground pro-hero named Eraserhead, his tone of voice still very tense and hostile as he eyed Scorn, his overall body language showed that he did not trust Fury and she supposed he couldn't blame him. If she knew about who or what she was then he would more than likely be ready to attack her without a second thought, not that he would have won that fight. She could not risk it right now not with the lives of the refugees in her hands, "Thank you," she choked out slightly, "I will look into it."

4 years later

Fury ran from rooftop to rooftop chasing after her perspective target, a man with a beast-style quirk, using both the Barbs of Scorn and the Storm Hollow to keep up with the man. She was in a hurry, that was a factor, but Fury saw this man kill one of the refugees in her charge. Ever since she joined this hero society her job has significantly gotten harder, and her limitations have only grown. She was thankful to the late Lord of Hollows for granting her the power of the hollows she was gifted; it may only make her job easier marginally but it is not enough at times when she needs to keep her Nephilim and Horsemen powers in check was insanely demanding. Regaining her focus, she swung herself right at the villain that killed one of her charges landing on his back and keeping him in place, "Fucking bitch get off," the villain said thrashing around as police arrived, Fury, did not move her foot until she was sure the police had him secured. It was not the kind of justice she would have preferred, she believed in blood for blood, violence for violence, a life for a life, but she knew that All Might would not have approved, Fury sighed thinking about him what had that muscle head done to her?

Changed everything about her, turned her into a subservient dog to a system, she shook her head purging the thought from her mind. All Might knew her well, she had confided in him about who and what she was, and he knew that she hated others telling her how to do her duty. Sure, she was not the hot-headed Nephilim with the lust for power that she used to be, but it didn't mean that it still did not eat at her from time to time. Lust may have been taunting her but she was not wrong, she did desire to have all the power to herself, lead the horsemen, all of it. She never opened up to anyone, then again, she never did keep her underlying thoughts a secret.

Her brothers were not blind like humans.

She missed her brothers dearly, at a passing glance. Sure, she couldn't stand them but they were her only family, even if she did butt heads with them, she still cared. War was unjustly blamed for a crime he did not commit; Death was loyal that it was nauseating, and Strife was… Strife. Nothing more and nothing less.

Her phone dinged as it received a text from All Might reminding her about the night's dinner plans as she walked down the street. Human advancements astounded her in this world, it was almost a mirror of her own Earth, if only mildly and with less fire and brimstone. She texted All Might back stating that she would be home after her last patrol, he was a good man, a complete muscle head dolt at times but a good man. Fury returned to the task at hand before running into Aizawa, "Hello Eraser," she said not bothering to hide the contempt in her voice. She and Aizawa never saw eye to eye on how to properly handle villains and capture them, for All Might's sake she put up with the single-minded pro hero, "To what do I owe the displeasure of running into you this day?"

"You can dispense with the attitude Miss Midoriya," Aizawa said with the same amount of contempt, hearing her alter ego made something dark sink into Fury's stomach, "I am here to make you an offer, or at least deliver an offer from my boss." Fury had heard of the school Aizawa worked at, one of the top 3 best hero academies in all of Japan, "If your principal has something to offer me then he can offer it in person otherwise I have no interest," Fury said starting to walk away from Aizawa.

"Nezu has other responsibilities Miss Midoriya, you would be wise to hear me out before judging," Aizawa said poking a very raw nerve for Fury, he was really starting to push boundaries that really should be left well enough alone, "You have five minutes to make your offer," Fury snarled gripping Scorn tightly and activating the Flame Hollow, if Aizawa wastes her time with his words then he would pay dearly for them, one way or another. Clearing his throat Aizawa look into Fury's eyes, "Inko Midoriya, Apocalyptic Hero: Fury, I come on behalf of Nezu principal of AU Academy to offer you a place among its staff," Aizawa being painfully formal even for her taste, it almost amused Fury. His offer rather disturbed her in a way, her being a teacher for the youth of this world, absurd. What could she offer?

With a sigh she turned to walk away, "I refuse," Fury said putting Scorn on her belt, "What I have to offer you do not want me to teach. Take that as a warning, there are better heroes who can teach the youth." Before Aizawa could respond Fury walked away, she had other things to tend to and one of them was waiting at their shared home.

Fury arrived at the home she shared with her lover, All Might or Toshinori Yagi as she knew him, before shifting her form, she knew All Might loved her as she was but, even she knew that she needed to play her part as Inko Midoriya. As a normal human women, even if they both knew that such a task was impossible. Looking at herself in the mirror she felt almost discomforted feeling her arm she could still feel her muscles and how rough her hands were, perhaps she would join Mitsuki in one of her "Spa trips" to help relax her, lord knew she needed the break. Stretching her back and arms, Fury walked into the house they shared only to find the lights off, she knew very well that Toshi was home at this time and normally the light was on.

Her mind going swiftly to defense mode she grabbed Scorn switching the form from the whip to the dual blades, the Edge of Scorn. Storming into her home with her hair glowing yellow from the Storm Hollow, Fury rounded the corner to the dining room to find Toshinori at the table waiting for her, "Welcome Home Fury."

His words lifted the weight of worry off of her along with taking her out of the defensive Mindset she was in at the moment, "Toshinori," Fury said putting the hilt of Scorn back on her belt and walking over to her lover, "You know better than to make me worry like that, especially considering what I am capable of." Toshinori chuckled to himself, "Feeling some more human emotions dear," he asked with a smile pulling a chair out for her, "Thought you used to avoid feeling them?"

Fury grunted at his jab, "Your jokes as per usual dear are not funny," she said trying not to laugh and call herself out for lying, "What is the occasion?"

"Celebrating our 2-year anniversary, "Toshinori said pouring a glass of wine and handing it to her, she takes it with a smile in return, "Mortals are an odd bunch, I did not think that they celebrated yearly courtship benchmarks," Fury said taking a sip. Toshinori laughed hard at her words, she would never admit that she too was full of her own humorous jabs when she thinks of them, "I also wanted to ask you something," he said pulling a small black box out of his pocket, "I know it took far too long for me to get to this point."

"Our careers have kept us both busy dear."

"We have known each other for two years."

"Four if you count the day we met," Fury said mostly enjoying seeing Toshinori squirm before seeing him kneel on one knee and holding the open box, "Fury would you do me the honor of being my wife," Toshinori asked looking into her eyes.

Fury's heart skipped a beat, and a flood of emotions washed over her seeing the hand-crafted ring, Toshinori wanted to marry her. Her of all beings, it made no sense to her, "Are you sure you wish to make this choice Toshinori," she asked before adding, "If you do this there will be much pain to be incurred if I am called back to my world."

"I do not care, Fury," Toshinori said setting the ring on the table and taking her hands in his, "No matter what destiny brings, no matter what we face, I want to spend my remaining years with you."

Fury smiled and nodded her head, "If that is what you desire my love then yes, I will marry you."

9 months later…

Nine months and four days.

That was the exact amount of time that had passed for Fury, nine months and four days since she married Toshinori.

Nine months since they decided to create new life.

Nine months and four damn days of nightmarish rage and pain, and today… was no different as Fury was wheeled into the delivery room, "Where is my damned husband," she angrily asked Mitsuki who looked at her with a mix of fear and worry, "He is supposed to be hear."

"I am not sure Inko."

"I will rip him limb from limb if he does not arrive soon," Fury said as another contraction hit her, she slammed her fist into the wall right as Toshinori walked in, still in his hero costume. She glared at him, if her looks could kill then All Might would be a smoldering pile of charred bones and ash, "Where were you," she growled out in pain as she prepared to deliver their son, "I was delayed dear, Endeavor nearly flash fried a villain."

Enji Todoroki, a mortal with a personal grudge against her husband, if Lust was still alive, she would enjoy toying with his mind and playing on his lusts for power and glory. She had her encounters with him and none of them were enjoyable in the slightest, he was a bastard through and through. Another wave of pain from her latest contraction hit her hard and she screamed activating the Flame Hollow, the doctors and Toshinori knew they would be in for a long, grueling birth. Mitsuki held her hand wincing from the pressure of Fury's grip, "Why did you talk me into this Toshi," Fury said gritting her teeth in rage, "I will make sure that for every ounce of pain feel here you shall feel a hundred times over." Mitsuki flinched hearing her friend's words, she thought her own pregnancy was bad, and she mentally made a note to never let herself or her son get on her friend's bad side, it was downright terrifying. "You know you do not mean that dear," Toshinori said stroking Fury's hair before feeling her free hand on his throat, "I will show you if I do or do not mean it," Fury growled out before releasing him and pushing on the doctor's instruction.

Within a matter of hours of screaming, threats of bodily harm, curses upon her husband, and curses towards the pregnancy Fury heard the first cries of her newborn son and the pained groans of her husband as doctors tended to Toshinori and her son, "He is so beautiful Inko," Mitsuki said holding Fury's hand. Fury moved her gaze to the nurse holding her son as she approached handing him over, taking the small bundle of life in her arms Fury smiled gazing into her son's small face.

Musutafu city

Strife walked down the street his eyes roaming all around, this world was far different from the one he left to search for his sister. Ulthane's words about the portal were flawless, Strife wanted to find Fury and the portal took him right to where she first appeared. His mind swam in an ocean of questions and the common question that always came up was this; Why didn't she appear when the final seal was broken?

It was a question Strife would get an answer to, but this world had left him perplexed. Everywhere he looked he saw humans with odd or just downright strange abilities while others wore costumes patrolling the streets. Walking into a shop, Strife saw something that caught his eye, picking up the box he read its label, "This is not possible," he said as he read Apocalyptic Hero: Fury on the box.

Fury? A hero?

Strife stifled a chuckle at the thought, for the centuries that he had known his sister he knew that she was not the heroic type, at least if he thought like War or Death. He saw how much she had changed when he last saw her, but this was a stretch, "Sir are you ok," the store owner's voice made him jump slightly, it was barely noticeable, "Yes I'm fine," Strife said before looking at her, "If I may ask do you know where I can find the actual Fury?"

The store owner looked Strife up and down, Strife was smart in using his Jones persona and keeping his guns hidden, "She is usually on patrol at this time but works at Might Tower in Roppongi." Strife smiled and set down the action figure, "Thanks for the help," he said and left the shop making his way to find Fury.

Strife could not count how many times he had to ask for directions to get to Roppongi, if there was a point if he felt like an idiot, it was at this point. He covered his eyes with his hands sighing in frustration not paying attention to where he was going until he ran right into a kid, "Ow," he hear the kid say before Strife turned his gaze to him, his eyes adjusting to the light, "Sorry about that kid," he said helping him up. Looking him over as his sight adjusted something sent a wave of Déjà vu through the horseman, his spiritual aura gave Strife a familiar feeling, was this kid one of us? A lost Nephilim?

"Hey Izuku you ok," Strife heard another kid, a blonde boy called out before turning aggressive towards him, "The hell were you doing extra!?" Strife was taken aback by his words for a moment before getting up, "You seem, familiar kid," he said to the green-haired boy before stroking a loose strand of deep purple hair, "Get your hands off him," the blonde boy growled out a set of small explosions popping in his hands. Strife sighed looking at him, "Kid you really do not want this fight," he said placing a hand on Redemption and returning his attention to the other boy, "As for you, you are giving off a strong spiritual aura that only beings like myself can sense."

Izuku tensed up looking at his friend and listening to the man talk, "One of three options must be a truth, the other two do not end well for you or your friend there," he heard him say before seeing the blades from his mother's whip wrap around him, "All Might get the boys," Fury yelled out holding Strife in place. All Might grabbed Izuku and Bakugo jumping to the roof of a nearby house, "Both of you stay here," All Might said before jumping down to join his wife. Izuku watched his parents fight the stranger before watching the man jump back from his fathers punch and ram right into his mother before transforming himself to look almost similar to his mother pulling out two revolvers, pointing the normal-looking pistol to All Might and the other with four barrels at Fury.

"Now that his pointless squabble is done," Izuku heard the armored man say as he kept the guns pointed at them, "I think it's time we have a nice, civil chat don't you think Fury?"

Fury glared at the man gritting her teeth, the rage only built up when she recognized who she was fighting, "You have a lot of nerve to be pointing those at me Strife," she snarled out gripping Scorn harder, "And if you wanted to have a civil chat then you made a very poor first impression on your nephew."

Izuku's eyes went wide, this gun-toting man was his mother's brother? He knew that she had siblings when he asked her when he was six but she never went into detail, and now there was this man pointing guns at his mom and dad, "It was not my intention to cause harm Fury. You know very well what it's like back home," Strife said slowly lowering Mercy and Redemption, "Something I wanted to ask about, why did you not appear when the final seal broke?"

Fury had no explanation for Strife's question, if the seal was broken she was supposed to answer the call and yet she did not hear the call or feel the pull, "Your guess is as good as my own," Fury said nodding to her husband lowering her guard, "Let's talk at home, Izuku, Bakugo you can come down now." Taking his friend by the arm, Izuku and Bakugo jumped down being caught by All Might before leading the way back to the house, "I see you handled yourself well sister," Strife said bumping shoulders with Fury, "I never took you for the family type."

"Shut up Strife."

"You know that he is only half a Nephilim, who knows what will come of his abilities."

"My husband and I already know," Fury said remembering the sludge Villain incident all too well; remember that none of them could do anything to save Bakugo as his quirk was used to cause havoc all across the city, watching her son run right into the fire to fast for her to stop him and then seeing his first transformation into his armor, something akin to watch she saw in his notebooks, and him using a combined shockwave of her husband's quirk and her Nephilim magic to knock the Sludge Villain off Bakugo. It was something that left her and her husband shocked when they saw it, she remembered how feral he was when he attacked the villain, the way his eyes glowed under the mask, the raw animalistic rage, a constant reminder of her past. Strife shook his sister," Are you listening Fury," he asked before adding, "What do you plan to do? He needs to learn to control his nature otherwise it will destroy him."

"Well then," Fury said with a twisted smile crawling its way across her face, "It's a good thing my Izuku has me, his father, and now his uncle to help teach him."
