"You've left me Gregory." I am back in the Pizzaplex. Everything looks distorted. I can hear a weird buzzing sound in my ears. Freddy is standing in front of me, except he doesn't look like himself. He has cracks running all over him and his eyes are glowing purple. His voice also sounds raspy, and his words are coming out distorted.

"I wanted you to stay! Yet you left me here! Now look at me!" I am crying now as I fall to my knees.

"I never wanted this to happen! I just didn't want to stay in that place any longer!" Just then I see purple smoke coming out of the elevator. Out of the smoke comes an animatronic hand. But it's not smooth like the glamrocks. The endoskeleton is showing. And is that human flesh?!

Slowly a figure emerges from the elevator. My eyes widen in horror as I observe the full body. The shell of the animatronic looks like it was a yellowish color, but it looks like it has been withered and burned many times. A Lot of the endoskeleton is showing and what is underneath horrifies me the most.

I can see flesh all under the suit. As well as a human jaw where its animatronic mouth should be. It slowly steps out of the elevator and starts to make its way over to me.

I try to move but I am frozen in place and can only watch helplessly as it makes its way to me. I look to Freddy for help but he only steps aside. I can now feel that things breathing on my face. I hear a chuckle emerge from it as it moves closer to my face.

"You can never escape me. I always come back."

"Finish it" It says to Freddy as it takes a step back.

"FREDDY PLEASE, NO!" I can barely get the words out before Freddy lets out an ear-piercing scream and lunges towards me.

All I can do is cry and close my eyes as everything goes black.

I wake up screaming as I see Frisk trying to shake me awake. They have a look of concern.

"Gregory, or you ok?!" Frisk looks like they are trying to relax but I could tell that they are still worried about me. But then we both hear the sound of a door being slammed open and we turn to the door to see Toriel standing there.

It looks like she is out of breath, she must have ran as fast as she could the moment she heard the screaming. Her eyes quickly go to me and she is scanning me for any sign of injury. She then rushes to my side and brushes my hair with her hand.

"Gregory, are you alright? I heard screaming so I came as quickly as possible." Toriel is looking at me with care in her eyes. She is looking at me the same way Freddy was looking at me at the Pizzaplex. A look only a parent could manage.

"I'm fine, it was just a nightmare." I try to say this as calmly as possible, but my breathing gives it away that I am still panicking about. I had to only be a nightmare, right? But it felt so real.

"I am sorry to hear that Gregory. If you would like to tell me about it, I would be more than happy to listen." I just stare at Toriel for a minute feeling uncomfortable. I have never been an open person.

"I would rather keep it to myself." I say slowly as I see Toreil try to hide her disappointment.

"If that is what you prefer Gregory, then I will respect your wishes. Is there anything I can get for you?"

"Maybe I could use a glass of water." Toriel is about to go towards the kitchen but Frisk beats her to it. Frisk comes rushing back with a glass of water.

"How kind of you, my child." She takes the glass from Frisk and hands it to me. I start to slowly drink it down as I continue to go over my dream in my head. What was that thing, and is Freddy really like the others? NO! He has to be fine, he is different from them! But my doubts still persist as I remember those purple eyes staring at me.

Toriel stays with me for a few minutes before leaving. Frisk sits patiently next to me on the bed as they wait until I am better.

"Ok, I think I am ready to leave." Frisk nods as they get up from the bed. I join them and we both leave the room. Toriel is sitting next to the fireplace reading her book. She notices us and lowers her book as she smiles.

"Hello my children, what can I do for you?"

"When can we go home?" Frisk says as they look at Toriel. Toriel's smile falters at Frisk's words but she awkwardly tries to retain her composure to no effect.

"What? This… this IS your home now my children. Um… would you like to hear about this book I am reading? It is called '72 Uses for Snails.' How about it?"

"Snails? Look, can you just tell us how to exit the runs?" I try to keep my disbelief hidden but it is hard when she is literally bringing up snails in a serious conversation!

"Um… How about an exciting snail fact? Did you know that snails.. Sometimes flip their digestive systems as they mature? Interesting." It is clear that Toriel is trying to change the subject. If we stay here any longer Vanessa will get us!

"Enough about snails! How can we get out of the Ruins?" I am trying to be patient with her but there is only so much I can take. Toriel puts down her book and frowns.

"...I have to do something. Stay here."

Is Gregory's dream just that or something more? And how close is Vanny?!
