survive in there…we have to do something.. Zero's heart welling up with all sorts of emotions …mostly of yuki and this little life growing inside of her… I have thought about it… But it's going to be a very difficult procedure…we have to perform surgery on yuki and place the little one inside an artificial womb …this is going to be very risky…i don't know if the baby can make it…"then can't we just wake yuki up"...said Zero …"it would be impossible without extinguishing the furnace ….are you all willing to take the risks…" Vampires and Purebloods will all be on the lose…and we won't anything against them…we won't be able to hold them back… For now the safest bet would be to transfer this child in an artificial womb… i have already made all the preparations…i will need lots of blood…maybe a constant supply of blood..cause this baby won't be getting any from her mother.. The next few days were hectic…everyone was busy for the operations…they were happy with news of arrival of the baby…but sad at the same time that it's parents wouldn't be here for her… Through advanced surgery and surrogacy…they were thinking of surrogacy but this time around it would be impossible…as they didn't know about the complications…so it could endanger the mother as well although Ruka and Yori were more than ready to become baby's mother …
The baby was put in a artificial womb with stable environment thanks to Aidou 's and other doctors… Zero who was slowly and slowly dying inside found strength to go on..seeing this little life as the last chance to protect something dear to him…currently he only saw this little life as a ray of hope …he knew he had to protect this baby for yuki…He hated Kaname for taking yuki away with him… it's always was on his mind…what if he never let go of her hand that day…would she still be here with him…These questions were always on his mind…and his bloodlust was as always getting the best of him…but he knows now more than ever that he can't let this thought get to him…as he has to protect this baby..he was astonished by her will to live…how this baby survived…and he is going to make sure she survives and flourishes in this world protected by her parents…he no longer wishes to seek answers for all these questions…just wishes to protect her…he can go ahead and kill every vampire and revive them but what would it change nothing…he learned this from kaname how his craziness led to his downfall and death of one person closest to him…Zero was the first volunteer for this job of constantly giving the blood to the baby…and just like this three years passed.. And finally the day arrived when the baby was born…Everyone was gathered around…Zero was the last one to arrive at the scene…they were all at her side and staring at them…Ruka saw her and realised how much she looked like both of them how this little one was so like a mini version of her father with her mother's beautiful smile…You can see both Kaname and yuki in her…one look at her and you can say it's their child…then Zero came and looked at her…at first he didn't feel much…he thought the baby would look more like yuki…but she looked more like kaname…yet noone can deny Yuki's presence in her … because of her eyes…that shone…so you are the miracle of love..Life..Zero didn't know why he said those words and yet after looking at her that's the only thought that came out of his mouth…and soon she held his finger very tightly as if to never let go… Zero held her in his arms and said let's call her Ai…all of them just looked at him …this seems a befitting name for her … yeah let's call her Ai…Cross also came running to meet her…his beloved granddaughter…Cross took her in his arms and brought her to her parents…See Yuki it's your daughter…Her name is Ai…i won't be showing
her to you kaname…my daughter followed you in death…i hate you…but since today is a happy day i'll let it go… Then Takuma turned serious and told them we can't let others know of her existence…besides nobody seems aware of this little princess…so we should keep it that way…we don't have any Purebloods guidance for us…we won't know how to raise her…or we can just raise her… Why should we hide her…there's no point to that…we just don't need to disclosure her existence…Cross said i will raise her…she is my granddaughter..kind of they all wanted to raise her and be in her life…in one way or the other…As soon as Zero and Cross decided to raise her and take her away from that place…Ai started crying …they didn't understand why…even at their home she kept her crying not knowing what to do…they were at a loss…Then Zero's bloody rose fell by her side…and she took it in her little hands…she stopped crying… Cross and Zero saw this and realised her vampire instinct must be searching for her parents… This brought them a sense of loss…as to how they will raise her without her parents…Zero kept looking after her…never really leaving her side for a months…only when it was absolutely necessary…afterall he too was going to be the future president of vampire hunter association…
