The group had stopped in the desert so Lincoln and Ben could train their relatively new powers.
"You two ready," Max asked his grandsons.
Lincoln gave a nod and Ben transformed into diamond head.
"Alright start," Max called.
Ben ran at Lincoln who quickly dogged out of the way and used his boots to fly above his crystalline cousin, Ben started shooting crystal shards at Lincoln who dodged them with little effort.
"Phocas Ben think, remember might doesn't always make right," Max called.
"Ya but it's always fun," Ben called as he continued shoring at Ben.
"Pft shows off," Gwen said, rubbing sunscreen on her arm.
Lincoln grabbed a tire and threw it at Ben who shot it out of the eye and was brought off guard by Lincoln who was right behind it uppercutting him. Ben who was still shooting didn't notice as shards went flying in many directions nearly hitting Gwen and Grandpa max.
Max gave Ben a talking-to and told Lincoln he should be more cautious. Deciding that they had trained enough for now the 4 headed back on the road.

They had to pull over as the rust bucket was having engine trouble.
"Looks like no one's home," Ben said.
"Correct this is Slaterville incorporated in 1857 after the discovery of silver went bust in the 1950s after the mine ran out," Ringo explained.
"Found the problem leaky fuel line," Max said, showing his grandchildren the crystal shard sticking from the hose.
"Sorry grandpa let me help, maybe four arms no wait upgrade," Ben said, switching through the watch.
"I think you've done enough Ben, I'll handle this, max responded.
" Ok guess I'll just go check this place out," Ben decided to head off.
"Stay with your grandfather I have some questions for him," Ringo spoke to lincoln's mind
After Ben and Gwen were out of earshot Lincoln spoke up.
"So Ringo has detected Alien tech all threw out the rust bucket,'' Lincoln said, not knowing how to start this conversation.
"Hu should have known this would happen, was hoping Ben would be a little more mature before I told any of you this," Max said as he replaced the fuel line.
"If you're not ready to tell Ben then I can wait too just promise me you're not some secret alien criminal hiding out on earth or something like that," Lincoln joked.
"No nothing like that," Max said, closing the hood just in time to see Ben and Gwen running back.
"What happened," Ben and Max asked simultaneously.
"Oh you know some jumbo-sized crustation jumped out of the ground and attacked Ben, it said it wanted the watch only it kept calling it the Omnitrix," Gwen explained.
"Just let me go Four Arms and I'll turn him into a seafood special," Ben said, lifting the watch.
"No time repairs are done we're outta here," Max ordered.
"But grandpa," Ben whined.
Once on the road, it took all of five minutes for Ringo to sense an alien approaching the rust bucket. Thinking ahead Lincoln waited for the exact moment the alien landed before shouting for Max to hit the brakes this sent the alien flying and Max then ran it over only for it to pop the rust buckets tires.
Seeing a mine Max called for the group to run into it.
After a second they thought they had gotten away only for the metal crab to emerge from the ground lincoln ignition the plasma cutter in Ringo and slashed at one of its legs causing it to fall off balance as they ran down the tunnel seeing a trolley they quickly ran to it and headed further in only for the crab to catch up followed by the other alien. Just in time for the watch to turn green.
"Ben thinks this through there after the watch let me handle them," lincoln said about to jump only for I'm to use him as a springboard and transform into diamond head mid-air by the time lincoln got back up they were too far for him to jump and cramps max stopped him from grabbing the cable.
"Ben might not think things through but when it comes to a fight his intuitions are some of the best he'll be fine," max said.
After a few seconds, they reached the end of the line and were greeted by the sight of the crab from early before Lincoln could make a move the other alien grabbed Gwen from behind they then took the 3 hostages and headed back out where they saw ben and a third alien talking.
The crab alien shot at Ben and the diamond head used his body to protect Ben. And running into a building for a moment only for the Alien to come back out knocking the purple alien off balance and giving lincoln a chance to punch it hard in what he presumed was the stomach atop him and began beating the thing's head only to be blasted off by a rocket barely remaining conscious From his brain bouncing from the inside of his skull. By the time he could make sense of the world again he was being helped up by Ben back in human form. They helped him back to the rust bucket after a few hours Lincoln began to feel better.
"Uhg I hope that never happens again," lincoln said.
"Already on it, you can also sleep now, I have evolved you so there is now a gelatinous material around your brain that will protect you from concussions," Ringo answers.
"... Did you give me Homer Simpson syndrome," Lincoln asked.
"Essentially yes," Ringo responded.
"You're the best," lincoln said falling asleep

I feel is bad for treating Lincoln like this but the only way I could make it work took a while re wrote this like 6 or 7 times and had to setal for this
