Always wondered…what DID Vlad think about Danny? What are his feelings? Think about it: 14, in-shape, and very powerful, probably with more untapped powers than Vlad has collectively (found and untapped), all of which very likely to be mass weapons of destruction. On top of that, he knows his place and the chances of him joining Vlad are very, very low. Just imagine how Vlad feels about that.
Random side note: Ha, (English teacher)! IN YOUR FACE, I used a semicolon and nevertheless!
SUMMARY: Vlad does some serious pondering about his place in the world…and Danny's.
RATED: K+. It just gives off that vibe, ya know?
Raw
At fourteen, I was but a confused teen, just finding my place in the world and taking my first few significant steps. Now what I did mattered, and my future was affected by anything I did. I was scared, nervous, and easily persuaded.
And at twenty, everything changed. I had been in love with Maddie for two years, but she fell in love with that idiot, Jack Fenton. They were both ghost-hunting majors, and I was a ghost-hunting minor; nevertheless, I worked on their ghost portal. Of course, Jack screwed up almost all of the calculations. On testing day, I was looking into it, checking out the correct mechanics and if it had been engineered right. "Maddie, I don't think this will work…" I said warily, inside fuming at Jack. And he pressed the button.
After that, all my life I have been trying to get my revenge. He ruined my chances with Maddie, he ruined my life, and most importantly, HE GAVE ME GHOST POWERS!
And then Danny Fenton came along. Good, caring, sweet Daniel Fenton. He had black hair and shining blue eyes. He had a sister named Jazz and two friends that anyone would be envious of. And his parents built a full-scale portal.
At fourteen, he got his own ghost powers. He mastered in two hours what took me to weeks to control. When we first met, I could immediately tell that he wasn't just the regular halfa (like those were regular in the first place). He wasn't limited to any of the laws of physics or logic like I was. If he wanted to, he could create another major tsunami just by thinking about it in a blink of an eye. He had so much raw power, and I had mastered all of the powers I could possibly have. He…he has so much ahead of him.
I tried to get him to join me…so I could find out exactly what powers he had and so that I could get my revenge against Jack. But he…he knows his place in this world. He knows what he has to do. He wasn't stumbling and falling, confused, like I was at fourteen. He knows his business, and nothing is going to stop him from doing it.
He's defeated me. A fourteen-year-old limited to about ten-something powers has defeated me, an experienced forty-two-year-old limited to all the powers I have. Not to mention his sister. How could a simple, one-track-minded boy like Danny defeat me? How could he resist the temptations I've deployed? He's a secure boy, all right, and nothing's going to break him.
I know that if people knew what I thought, I would be treated worse than the spiders in a kitchen. But as far as my mind goes, I can only say or think his name by adding that venomous tone to it like I have to Jack's. And why? It's all because he is so raw.
End
Bleh. Worse than I expected. But I have to go and finish my homework now, so merf.
