Chapter 11

Sousuke was walking down the street at high speed. His body was still aching a bit from the trials of last night, but he definitely felt better, physically at least. He would need to do something about his problem. After passing a few more blocks Sousuke quickly ducked into an alley between two buildings. The alley way was small, not really intended for use by anyone. That worked in his favor. He continued down until he reached the exit on the other end. He glanced at his watch as he continued his pace.

'No good I'm taking too long' he thought. He sped to a little more than jogging. After running down a few more roads, and turning some corners along with taking short cuts, he finally reached a small shore. It was only a small shore so no one was here. Sousuke looked out at the ocean. After a quick scan he located what he was looking for. A boat was sitting stationary about 30 yards out. Damn he would have to swim. He didn't have time to worry about his weapons. They would still be useable. He could get them repaired, or replaced easily anyway. After taking one more look around the area he quickly dove into the ocean and made his way to the boat.

The boat looked like an average large fishing boat. It looked clean and new however. There was a man seated in a chair on deck as Sousuke approached. He jumped from his chair when he heard a call from someone right behind him.

"You should be more careful. You knew I was coming yet I could have killed you." Sousuke was soaking wet. His hair stuck to his face a bit, as well as his clothes to his body. "I'm going to go change, and check my equipment, try to get there as soon as possible, be careful though."

The skinny man tipped his cap then rose. He sighed as he walked over to the main room. He entered the room, and looked around. The boat looked simple but inside it was a small command center. This room along with driving, and steering, also had screens, radars, maps, and weapons panels.

A smile crossed the man's tanned face as he approached the steering console. He hated Sousuke scaring him. He'd love to get him back. But now was not the time.

Sousuke kept his face cold and hard as he stretched. He hadn't been able to that morning. Not much anyway. His thoughts went back to Kaname but he quickly disregarded them. Now was certainly not the time. He sighed as he felt the boat take motion. He had removed his clothes, and toweled his hair dry. He'd taken a moment to look at himself in the mirror to inspect some of his more recent scars. After checking all was okay, he put on a new pair of boxers, and the black suit body suit he put on under his plug suit. When he had his plug suit comfortably on he checked his weapons. They were wet but they were okay. He decided to take them all apart, and clean them anyway.

After half an hour he finished. He looked around the room. He did when he first came in but now he was paying attention. It was a nice piece of work. It looked normal but he knew exactly where to look to find the small weapons cache, the weapons system, and anything else. Sousuke saw a large plasma screen TV.

'I guess he needs some entertainment'

He quickly disregarded those thoughts, and went up stairs. He noticed the view was nice, it was a beautiful day. Salt-water stung his eyes, and face as the boat moved along swiftly. He made sure not to think about anything to distract, and continued to the main command room. Inside he found the man he was looking for.

The man wasn't skinny, nor fat. He had a slightly muscular figure but he was more just tall. He was tanned from being out at sea so much. He had broad shoulders. He had dirty blond hair in a mess on his head. It was flat on the sides cut so short it was almost to his skull. But the top was left longer, and unnaturally stuck up, and slightly backwards. The man wore a blue headband, as well as a white shirt covered by a blue, and brown jacket open at the front. He wore sailor pants, and shoes. His face said he was British. He definitely fit the part of sailor.

Normally Sousuke would have made confirmation of who the man was but he already knew. He quickly but silently walked up next to the man. He made sure his presence was known when he knocked on the door on his way in. Sousuke glanced at him then went about inspecting all the data on the panels. A quick once over told him he would be reading for a long time.

"Nicholas, what is the estimated time before we reach the destination point?" Sousuke didn't look at him but used his name so he knew he acknowledged him. Nicholas Aldred was indeed his name. He kept his eyes straight his stare hard but a grin escaped, luckily no one was looking. He enjoyed the ocean, he also liked Sousuke. They had gone fishing a few times together. On this very boat. It wasn't so high-tech then but it was still the same boat. Nicholas had caught a shark their first time, it was a tough one so he had to jump in and knife it to death while Sousuke held it on the line. He ended up telling Sousuke all about the philosophies, and secrets of fishing, when he mentioned how unnecessary it was to jump in. It took about 4 hours but Sousuke listened through it all. It was hard to find youth that listened, and is good at fishing.

"We'll be there in about 4 more hours." He spit into a small bucket next to him. "Sorry we can't get there sooner but the ocean is treacherous, and we ain't equipped with all the good stuff just some of it." He spit once more into the bucket.

Sousuke just kept reading the information on the screen. If he heard him he gave no indication. Nicholas set the boat to auto-pilot then went back out to read his paper. He enjoyed being able to see, and smell the ocean instead being in here. Also he didn't have to spit into a bucket.

Sousuke's dread grew as he read the information on the screen. His break was over early; these opponents were really trying to test him. The information could be seen in the reflection of his eyes. They were dry however. He hadn't blinked once as if he would miss any valuable information. He continued scrolling, and reading. When he finished the page he pressed a button on the touch screen. Specs for a strange AS appeared on the screen. It was rather large. Over-sized for an AS. Sousuke touched different points on the screen to examine further details of the machine. When he finished he went over the rest of the report. There would be 2 raptors, along with 3 javelin types. After he finished checking on the enemy data he moved to location. The map indicated their current path, and where they were. They were headed for Australia. They were under the cover of a delivery tanker. Unfortunately some company in Australia ordered some rather large shipments, so it looked casual. Sousuke would need to check into that later, for now he needed to figure out how to take out the enemy. They would reach Perth in 5 hours. He was heading in the opposite direction. The boat wouldn't be able to get there in time. It would take days. He needed to fly. He wouldn't be able to sink the ship, because he wouldn't get there in time either way. It may cause problems for the countries as well. He wasn't in the mood to start a war but if it looked like a Hi-jacking or a terrorist attack it would avoid that. Of course he had no idea if any innocents were on board. He was annoyed. Information from Mithril was usually more accurate. But they had more supplies, and they probably wouldn't have the information on the machines. They didn't even know they existed. Sousuke sighed then closed the panel. He had been reading for 3 hours, he had only one left. He decided he'd join Nicholas on deck.

-Tuatha de Danaan-

Tessa sipped a glass of tea as she read the information in the papers handed to her. There was a large cargo ship heading to Perth. It was supposedly carrying a large shipment order. Apparently it was weighing down more than it should, and the photos with the report showed evidence of strange AS's being loaded on board. The ship was a new design, finished about a year ago. It was designed specifically to carry very heavy loads.

"What do you think Lieutenant Commander?" Tessa turned to look at her new replacement for Kalinin. He was a bit younger, more around Mardukas's age. But still older. He still had some black hair down the middle, though most of it was white. It was pulled back similar to Kalinin's but he had no ponytail. He had a strong set jaw, and broad shoulders. He was about the same height as Kalinin so he fit into the suit perfectly. He had brownish yellow eyes. He also sported the same facial hair as Kalinin. Tessa thought it was eerie having some one who looked so much like him replace him. The man was of course only being tested. There were still other candidates available if he failed.

"Ma'am, I think we should look into it. The SRT should be ready to go if needed." The man kept his face perfectly straight. Too much like Kalinin. But he didn't have that kind old man feel to him. His name was Andrian Gurevich. At least that was hardly similar. She turned to Mardukas's. "Commander?"

"I agree, Captain. This should be investigated." Mardukas stared straight forward as he gave his reply. Tessa nodded.

"Right. Inform the SRT. They should all be in the Briefing room in 1 hour. Get the Urzu teams Arm-slaves ready for launch."

Tessa turned back to the screen. "Get the ship's current coordinates, then head to the site. Change speed to 40 knots. Depth 5 kilometers. Turn 45 degrees north."

Mardukas eyes closed and he rubbed his forehead. "Actually captain, Second Lieutenant Melissa Mao, and Sergeant Kurz Weber are on their way via chopper transport. We will rendezvous with them in 5 minutes."

Tessa shifted in her chair uncomfortably, she had forgotten about that.

"Oh, well then prepare to surface. Slow speed to 2 knots." Tessa returned to the document in her hands. Suddenly she spilled her drink all over them. "Oh no!"

5 minutes later the helicopter docked with the submarine, it quickly submerged itself once the hatch was sealed.

Kurz stretched his arms as he stood at the exit to the chopper. "Man, I'm tired. It's good to get off that thing eh sis, now we can find a nice comfy bed to continue our fun…" Kurz turned to smile. Melissa boot crashed right into his face sending him flying onto the hangar floor. She stepped on him as she exited the copter.

Kurz groaned as Melissa stepped on his ass, and head. "Jeez, I was just kidding. Bitch" That last part was little more than a whisper. Sadly that didn't keep him from receiving a right hook to his jaw.

"What did you call me!" Melissa had her boot lightly placed on his groin.

Kurz was frantic his balls, were black, and blue from the week's torture.

"I just said you're the best Second Lieutenant ever, and I would follow you to the ends of the earth." Kurz sighed in relief when Melissa removed her boot. It was too soon to relax because she was dragging him across the floor by his cheek. "C'mon we got one hour before we go to briefing, I need a drink." Kurz howled in pain as Melissa dragged him. Oh well it could've been worse.

When Melissa reached the bar she let go of Kurz. Kurz rubbed his red stretched out cheek. When he was finally able to stand up he noticed Melissa was on the phone.

"What's up sis?"

"I'm calling Sousuke, he didn't attend school, and knowing him….damn it he's not answering." Melissa began to punch in the numbers again.

"Maybe he's with Angel, I mean she didn't come today either, maybe they're, you know…hah, I'm so proud of Sousuke." Kurz put his hands together, closed his eyes, and did one of those dreamy expressions. He was met by Melissa's free hand.

"You know Sousuke always answers his phone, only idiots like you ignore business to get laid. Not that you get laid." Kurz was rubbing his jaw.

"What are you talking about sis, we- I got laid just yesterday, you were very noisy." Kurz ducked Melissa's blow this time, and ran over to the bar.

When Melissa walked up Kurz had already ordered for both of them.

"He's still busy. He got to be up to something." Melissa downed the first glass in one gulp. It was quickly refilled.

"You know sis you shouldn't drink so much before a mission." Kurz smiled as he drank some of his.

"What about you? Besides I'm not gonna get drunk." Melissa downed her second drink. Then lit a cigarette.

"Maybe you'd rather do something else before we go out." Kurz decided to stop while it still sounded like suggestion rather than a come on. He was hit way too much for one week.

"Let's go check in with Clouzot." Melissa drank one more before she left the bar. Kurz not far behind her.

--

Sousuke walked into the dimly lit hangar. He walked over to a large crate. Travis was standing next to it.

"Hey Sousuke what's up." He held out his hand. Sousuke shook his hand.

"I suppose this is a problem." Sousuke thought back to the information he read.

"Yep, but we got more problems. Your old buddies are heading to the area, they're gonna go at 'im too."

Sousuke put his hand under his chin. If Mithril gets involved they'll want information. They will also want remnants of the enemy AS's. Not even Kurz and Melissa knew Sousuke had other assets. Well not exactly, he's sure they figured it out, but don't know what or how exactly. They may also see him as an enemy. He wasn't concerned about obtaining information his current partners had that. Sousuke didn't personally have a problem, all he had to do was destroy his enemy. The rest here would want to obtain what they could, but so would Mithril. Travis didn't exactly have an expensive submarine that could kick any things under water ass, and be a base, and home.

"That is a problem. But we also need information on who made the order, whether it was for those AS's exactly, or whether they were snuck on, and the real order is being used as an excuse. Either way we're going to have to find out who needs an order so big it requires that type of vessel. Also where it came from. This is going to be a very big operation. This is a problem."

Travis was smiling. "Boy you think of everything ahead don't you. I just told you, and you looked at all the scenarios. Oh well we'll figure that out later, for now we gotta stop that thing."

"But we won't be able to get there before it becomes operational. We don't even know exactly how it works."

"Don't worry about that for now. Listen I sent the kids elsewhere for this. You wanna drink I won't tell."

Sousuke gave him an annoyed look.

"You know I shouldn't drink before going into battle. Besides I am not good with alcohol, nor do I like the flavor."

Travis had already finished the bottle.

"You should meet Mao, you'd like her." Sousuke turned around, and walked toward something covered in a tarp.

When he removed the tarp the strange AS could be seen.

"Sousuke your back!" Al's deep robotic voice sounded joyful.

"We have a mission Al, What are you doing talking before being activated?"

"Sir, I do not understand, I am never deactivated. Did you know Travis thinks you're…"

Travis jumped in front of Sousuke waving his arms.

"Nothing, just ignore Al. Al shut up." Travis turned but smiled at the machine despite his statement.

"Only Sousuke can tell me to shut up…even then I don't listen."

Travis threw his head back in laughter. He patted Sousuke on the back before walking away.

"I'll get you ready for dispatch just hurry up." Travis disappeared through a metal door.

Sousuke was taken aback by the conversation that just took place. Right in front of him they joked, and laughed. Al was always surprising him with his ability to seem human.

"Sir, are you going to get in." The robots chest opened up.

Sousuke shook his head then quickly loaded up. He slid his hands, and feet into the proper places then checked the screen. He read all the information, everything in Al was perfect, at least as perfect as it could have been. The lights in the cockpit ran through everything; signifying synchronization.

"Al, give me all information regarding the mission." Sousuke clicked the touch screen.

"Roger."

He watched as the information from earlier as well as a bit more appeared on his screens.

Sousuke quickly read through it.

"Al, bring up the map of the target areas. Mark the target ship in red, bystanders in orange, and innocents in green. Mark Mithril machines in white. The TDD-1 one should be marked in grey. Also mark the enemy AS's that exit the ship in red as well. I'll leave the rest to you." Suddenly a large array of colors, and shapes appeared on screen. Sousuke quickly took in the current location of each the colors reflecting in his eyes. Al marked the water in blue of course, the land was a dark brown.

Suddenly the strange AS stood up. It began walking towards a large panel in the middle of the room.

"This is Sagara, I am properly secured raise the elevator."

The machine stood perfectly still as the floor began to rise. The doors above began to open slowly.

"Sir, how is everyone doing?" Al's deep voice surrounded Sousuke.

Sousuke didn't move. He didn't even blink. He was not in the mood to talk about the others right now.

"Sir would you like me to ask again?"

"Negative, I simply do not wish to speak about them right now. You should stop talking so much AL." Sousuke continued to look forward. The colors coming off the screen playing against his grey eyes.

"Sir we are ready to leave. Should I initiate fly mode?

"Affirmative, also activate EIS."

Low humming could be heard as the AS began to hover, then shift its' joints.

"Sir if we have a fly mode, why do we not simply upgrade it so that we can fly, and engage in combat at the same time. Currently in this mode we are vulnerable, we cannot attack back."

"Don't worry about it Al, it's not your concern, I will work on it later."

"But it does concern me, it is my body."

Sousuke looked in surprise at the screens. Al was really surprising him today.

Sousuke leaned back in his seat.

"You are correct, my apologies. AL what is the ETA to destination."

"ETA is approximately 1 hour. The ship will dock in 30 minutes."

"Can't we go faster?" Sousuke didn't like giving the enemy so much time.

"Sorry sir but the fly mode is not totally efficient. As you know it is not complete. There are many flaws."

Before Sousuke could say anything Travis's voice came over the link.

"Sousuke, listen if we're lucky the machines are being delivered. That would make it easy. But if those things mobilize we're going to have a hell of a time on our hands. You saw the specs. Well they're not totally accurate, and a lot of the specs are missing on that big ass AS. To make sure the boat has the name Sea Whale on the side. Stupid name in my opinion "

Sousuke wasn't happy with the lack of information but he still had more than Mithril.

"Roger. But the name seems efficient considering its cargo..."

Travis chuckled over the line.

"Heh heh, yeah yeah , be careful, Headquarters signing off."

"I will, Sigma 00 out."

Sousuke sighed, he still didn't like using a different call sign but it was necessary for privacy just in case someone taps the frequency.

Besides Mithril probably already has a new Urzu 7.

"Sir 10 minutes to destination."

Briefing Room

The mercenaries listened intently as Adrian spoke.

"The ship is called the Sea Whale. It is confirmed to be carrying 3 types of AS's which are unknown to us. They have a total 2 of what we call a-type currently." A picture of a raptor being loaded appeared on the screen. "3 B-type." Javelins were in this photo.

"…and 1 of the C-type." A large AS appeared on a picture taken by one of Mithril's satellites.

"We have not confirmed if the machines are being delivered or used. Also we believe the smaller AS's may just be escorts for the large AS. We have photos of men in suits indicating that they may be pilots."

A group of men in pilot suits were loading with the machines.

"We will send Urzu team to destroy any immediate threats. Urzu team will approach the ship from the sea, then prepare for an attack on land. Geybo team will be close by with ECS."

The Geybo team was not the original since they had been killed delivering the Arbalest a few months ago.

"Urzu 1 and Urzu 9 will approach with close range tactics."

Gurevich looked at Clouzot, and a woman named Lillian Mayfield. She had blonde hair that barely went past her shoulders. She had it pulled back in a ponytail. She had soft blue eyes.

Kurz whistled when he noticed her. "I didn't know we had a new member." He whispered to Melissa.

"Neither did I now be quiet." Melissa hit Kurz in his gut with her elbow.

(Of course the rest of the team hadn't been replaced yet.)

"Urzu 2 will plant bombs on the bottom of the ship. Hopefully that will stop their transfer of the AS's, However the AS's may be removed from the ship before we arrive. If that happens you will assist Urzu 1, and 9. Urzu 6 will take up a good vantage point. Urzu 8 will help to cover him. You two will approach from the air. You will depart in 30 minutes. That is all unless you have something to say madam, Captain."

Gurevich turned to Tessa.

"No thank you, you covered everything. Dismissed."

Everyone began pouring out the room.

Kurz decided to was to meet his new teammate.

Lilliane was walking down the corridor when Kurz popped up in front of her.

"Hey pretty lady I didn't your get your name. I mean since we're working together on the same team I should know. Oh, I'm Kurz Weber." Kurz took up one of his super model poses.

Suddenly a boot came into his face.

"You're not harassing her already are you?" Melissa turned to face her new teammate.

"Hello I'm your commanding officer Second Lieutenant Melissa Mao." Melissa saluted but she was smiling as well.

"My name is Lilliane Mayfield, call sign Urzu 9, I.D. number B-4126."

She returned the salute and smile.

Melissa pointed her thumb over to Kurz. " This is…"

"Kurz Weber. I know he told me."

Lilliane smiled at him. Kurz smiled back.

"So, before we were rudely interrupted, I would like to get to know you."

Melissa squinted her eyes, she would remember that.

"No thank you I have to get ready before we go. You should too. Goodbye Commander."

Lilliane saluted once more before she walked away. Kurz turned to go after her but ended up on the floor with his ass sticking up.

"Rudely interrupted huh…?"

--

-Perth-

The Sea Whale had finally docked in the port city of Fremantle just south of Perth. They has essentially made it far enough to assume they would be in the clear. This was a test run to see if their new machine was worth mass-producing, despite the costs. The four remaining pilots had all loaded into the large blue AS from the head. The machine resembled the Behemoth, but it had an antenna on its' head. It also had different shoulders. They looked like they would open up. They had a more oval shape. The arms were longer. The legs were certainly longer, and had a large knee pad type protector. It had gladiator like armor along the crotch. The chest was a bit sharper. Broader than that of the behemoth. It looked like it had many openings along it body. It was about 50 yards taller than any Behemoth. Its name was 'Titan'. A hissing noise could be heard as the air locks released pressure than sealed the hatch.

A loud hum could be heard signaling its activation along with the lights in its head lighting.

The 2 Raptors, and 3 Javelins had already begun to mobilize. They were preparing to break ship, and begin their assault. The Javelins looked like M9's but with sharp blades as the shoulder, and hands.

"Lambda driver 1, 2, 3, and 4 now activated. All functions are at 100 percent working order."

"Let's go." A raspy voice called from the large AS. One of the Javelins made quick work of the side of the tanker. The 5 escort AS's quickly exited then began to wreak havoc on the dock. The whole boat was torn apart as the Titan was quickly jumped from its position onto the dock. For some reason the docks didn't fall apart when it landed on it. The weight should have made it fall back into the sea but it continued on. Suddenly machine gun fire began to pour from its head destroying the remaining buildings.

"We just started, and we already killed a bunch of 'em." This time a rash, cocky voice was heard along the radio link.

"Concentrate, remember this is a test run." This time a mature female voice could be heard.

"You have your orders. We're going to see how far this thing goes." The Titan made a deep robotic laugh as it continued into the city.

--

-Tuatha de Danaan-

In less than 30 minutes the TDD-1 came to its' destination.

"Alright everyone it's time, get ready for launch. Remember Urzu 6, and 8 you must be careful because of the alterations in your course." Tessa twirled her ponytail. They had to drop the plan of going in by air instead they would be launched in torpedoes then alter the angle.

They didn't have much information on the enemy. At least they had the lambda driver. Tessa wondered what Sousuke was doing right now. She knew he wasn't part of Mithril anymore. She heard it was for more than just Kaname but no one had any answers, except Sousuke of course.

"Urzu 1 ready for launch." Clouzot called in over the radio.

"Urzu 2 ready for launch." Melissa called in.

"Urzu 6 ready for launch." Kurz called in.

"Urzu 8 ready for launch." Spake called in.

"Urzu 9 ready for launch." Lilliane called in last.

"Ok prepare to launch in 30 seconds. You will each follow 5 seconds after the other."

Tessa looked over, and nodded at the man who took care of torpedo launches. It hadn't taken long to get the Urzu teams AS ready to go. Now they would be launching hopefully they would stop this enemy they knew so little about.

"Urzu 2, follow up on plan B. You will assist in the frontal assault. The enemy has already begun to attack the city. We confirmed the two A types, 3 B-types, and the C-type Arm-slaves. Be careful, we aren't sure but this enemy may have the lambda driver equipped in their AS's." Tessa glanced at her watch. "Time for launch. Good luck."

Tessa began to fiddle with her ponytail. Mardukas noticed.

A small vibration could be felt in the Arm-slaves as they were released, at high speed toward the shore.

"Urzu 6 now separating." Kurz began to alter the angle of his path.

"Urzu 8 changing course." Spake's AS began to follow Kurz.

"This is Urzu 1 to all units. Be prepared for anything. Try to take the enemy out as quickly as possible. Don't get surrounded."

"Roger." That came from everyone.

Finally the Clouzot's group reached the shore.

"We have made contact with land, we're going to engage the enemy. How long before you're in position Urzu 6?"

"Gimme 2 minutes, I see a nice spot." Kurz whistled like he just saw something he liked.

"Urzu 8, when Urzu 6 is secure you are to help engage the enemy." Gurevich's voice came over their headsets.

"We got company…" A voice that sounded too happy for its own good passed over the radio's of the enemy AS's.

The 2 Raptors, and 3 Javelins turned around.

"You guys got this right?"

"Yeah go ahead." A younger female voice came from the Titan as it continued its onslaught north.

One of the Raptors leapt directly at Clouzot's ARX-9. Clouzot luckily was good in Arm-slaves. He was able to set up for a counter-attack before his enemy lunged at him. The Raptor went flying back as Clouzot's AS punched in its upper body. The Raptor quickly flipped back into position with its' thin body.

Clouzot took up a fighting stance as he prepared for the next attack.

Melissa was hiding behind what was left of a broken factory wall. The Javelin she was fighting had been launching non-stop lambda driver made javelins. She kept her AS's head close enough to look around at the AS. She quickly leapt to side as a light spear ripped right through the wall. Debris bounced off of Melissa's AS. She took advantage of the dust up lifting and fired off a few shots from her machine gun. It jumped over the burst of fire, and straight at Melissa.

"Shit, focus!" Melissa aimed her weapon at the approaching AS. A small spear of light protruded from it arm. A burst of light went off, as light shot from Melissa gun, surrounding her bullets. The Javelin AS fell backwards as the bullets destroyed its arm.

"Heh, I don't know why Sousuke complained about this thing so much." Melissa quickly unleashed another burst of bullets.

Lilliane was busy trying to fend off one Raptor type. She could only fire back, and attempt close range attacks with her knife. She wasn't efficient or even trained to use a Lambda Driver. She quickly jumped out from her hiding spot and fired at the approaching Raptor. Her bullets didn't even hit it. Passing by it's unusually thin body.

'Maybe I should aim for the chest.' She dodged to the side as one of the Raptor's fist sent debris up from the hole its fist just made. She leapt back and high into the air as she unleashed another onslaught of bullets. A Javelin leapt up behind her one of it's light spears aimed right at her.

"No!" Lilliane braced herself for what was about to happen. Suddenly the Javelin was torn to pieces as a bullet engraved with light tore it apart.

"You owe me one. We'll discuss it later however. You should take care of that guy in front of you." Kurz voice was serious over the connection despite his remark.

Lilliane's AS turned around as a large explosion rang out. The Titan was getting closer to the city luckily this part wasn't very populated since most people saw the destruction, and ran away. There would probably be a large traffic jam, and maybe a few accidents with how quickly people were probably escaping. Though destruction that massive was still worth something.

"What are we going to do about the large one." Urzu 8 finally reached the battle area. Immediately he was intercepted by one of the Javelin's.

"Let's focus on defeating these guys first!" Clouzot could be heard grunting as he grappled with his enemy.

"Roger!" Spake opened fire on his opponent.

--

-Perth air space-

"Sir why have we not engaged in combat? We have been here since before the battle started. Why are we simply watching?" Al was confused. They had been there before Mithril but Sousuke chose to hover over head. Even worse he hadn't told Al why.

"Now Al deactivate the hovering engines. We're dropping in." Sousuke kept his eyes focused on the screen. He had watched the battle between Mithril, and their opponents' breakout. He was even watching the Titan wreak havoc on the city.

"But sir we are very high. Also may I ask why you waited so long?"

Sousuke slammed his head against the screen.

"Shut up Al, deactivate the engines now!"

"ROGER!"

A low hum could be heard for just a second before the AS began to descend toward the Earth. The AS pointed its' gun down as it began to accelerate.

A loud bang spread through the sky as the custom made weapon fired.

"Move…" The cool voice came over Spake's headset. He didn't hesitate or ask questions before he leapt back as quickly as possible.

"Got you!" The Javelin type AS began to leap forward seeing an opening. Before he realized what happened a bullet ripped right through the head, and cockpit. Instantly killing the pilot before the AS exploded.

"What in the…" Spake quickly turned his visual to the sky. He could see Sousuke's AS dropping through the sky at incredible speeds. "No way he's going to survive." He heard a hissing noise not too far away as Clouzot and the Raptor fist were clashing with light.

Clouzot's fist finally erupted through his opponents shatter the Raptor's arm, then destroying the cockpit. Clouzot's AS looked toward the sky, then to the Titan. "Now we take care of the big one. Urzu team meet at point 1212, we'll try to figure out a way to beat it from there." Clouzot clenched his teeth. He knew it was a long shot. Mithril didn't have any information on this AS.

"We have more company." The mature female spoke to the other pilots of the same AS. The large machine looked up at the still rapidly descending, and accelerating AS.

"Let's shoot him down." This time the rash one spoke.

"We can't. He's moving too fast besides he'll probably die from the impact."

"You know who that is, don't you. Master mentioned him. He's the one who played with the master. He's the one master wants to talk to again." This time it was the younger girl's voice.

"Well that explains the long shot he took from the sky." It was the older male now.

"That's got nothing to do with that; his skill is different from that, besides the shot was probably lucky." The rash one sounded peeved.

"Jealous." Everyone in the AS began to laugh except for of course the one they were referring to.

"You know I met him once, he was really scary, but really cute with that scar on his cheek. I looked into his eyes, and for about a week I was unconscious, it was like looking into the abyss. I need revenge for that." The younger girl spoke up.

"Hey remember this is still just a test run, we have a job to do." The older women spoke up again.

"Then he'll get in the way, and so will those guys over there… Hey where'd they go?" The younger male was taken by how quickly they disappeared.

A loud rumble broke out inside the cockpit of the Titan. Red lights began to flash.

"What the hell happened?" The older women seemed to be losing her suave attitude.

"Head cannons inactive. They have taken extreme damage." The deep voiced AI explained.

"Damn it pay attention, what caused the damage?"

"A bullet entered our shot barrel…"

Kurz was still in ECS, and moving around on the farther rooftops as carefully as possible.

He'd guessed the machine might still have some of the Behemoth's weaknesses since it looked the same, mostly. He'd gotten lucky he knew it, now the enemies were probably on their guard.

"Sousuke we are approaching at a fast rate, I'm not sure if we will survive the impact."

Sousuke sighed; Al's worry was not helpful.

"Al…"

"Yes sir."

"When you think we get too close for our own good at this speed, feel free to activate the thrusters to slow us down, however those are not necessary, I will leave the decision up to you." Sousuke continued to watch the bar lower as did their altitude.

"Uh sir I want to initiate the thrusters now, but your words worry me."

Sousuke's face was blank as he watched the screen; they would be impacting any second now.

"Understood."

Large amounts of debris, and dust flew up as the AS made contact.
