(A/N): I completely forgot that this Tailspin story takes place in the modern time since it is a cross-over to Grand Theft Auto 5. So enjoy this prologue to help understand how Kit came to where he is now. Stay tuned for Chapter 3. Also, Happy Thanksgiving.
Prologue
Somewhere in one the Tundra country in a small hit-town a bank robbery is being committed in the morning. A group of four orphan cubs at the age of seven years old wearing all-black and black face masks, carrying fully loaded carbine rifles. The four busted inside the medium-sized bank through the tunnel sewer lid that is located inside the bank's vault and began loading the stacked money into each of their black bookbags. Loading it up as much as their backpacks can hold. Once done the four were about to exit through the same place when the vault door began to open from the outside.
The door opened in came two hippocampus male security guards who were in shock and surprised to see them inside.
"Damn it there goes plan A!." said a southern accent blonde-furred female cub.
The young female cub fired at both of the security guards in the chests and laid them out dead.
"Becky!." yelled Kit walking up to his beautiful girlfriend angrily. "You just alerted everyone that there is a robbery."
"Well, shoot sugar it is a shoot first and worry about it later kind of thing. Besides, I was about to be disappointed in not putting any bullets in one of those fat bastards," responded Becky while exiting the vault.
"Dang it." said the other cub when making his way out to give Becky backup.
"Let's move!." said Kit running out along with the other female cub.
The four regrouped and took down nearby cops that were surprisingly around this early in the morning. They ducked behind a few desks or hid behind a curved wall while shooting at the polices. Kit and Becky shoot at the cops that was getting closer while shooting before quickly reloading. The other two cubs got their backs literally as a few cops were behind them.
"Damn, these pigs are all over the place." Becky fired her gun at the cops behind them.
"Yeah, all thanks to you." Kit shoots the cops in front of them. "We have to escape to the back and hope there is a car to jumpstart."
"Lead the way love." Becky shot the last cop. "While there are no cops in our sight."
"Right so let's go." Kit sprinted behind his girlfriend.
The others followed suit as time is both on and not on their side. They reached the back and continue on down the hallway hoping no surprise attack is among them. Unfortunately, a lion cop exit out of his hiding spot from the dark corner and grabs Kit. Becky and the others stopped and pointed their guns at the cop. The cop placed the gun to Kit's head while the cub struggled to break free but pointless.
"Let him go now or I'll have your brains all over the damn concrete!." Becky threatened while having her gun pointed at his head.
"You might as well forget it, little girl. You kids are going to be locked away for half your lives or more so." the Cop spoke with seriousness.
Kit spoke up nice and clear for the cop can hear him. "Listen, buddy. There is a such thing as two different types of criminals. The one type of criminal is the one who just does what they do by choice and does not think about how their loved ones feel about or who they hurt in the process and is just in it for the hype. As for the second type of criminal is the one who does this for the sake of surviving ends meet and needed the money to pay their debts in full, so that way his or her family won't die as a form of the debt payment."
"You got some wisdom on you, young one." said the Lion Cop.
"Yeah, and I am wise at taking down a distracting target." Becky shot the cop right in the eye.
This caused the lion to let go of Kit and dropped dead to the floor and bleeding out through its head. Kit panics and breaths uncontrollably as that was too close for comfort.
"Damn it, Becky, you could have gotten me killed!." Kit yelled at his girlfriend while trying to keep focus.
"Hey, did you die?. No?. Then be happy, thank your girlfriend and shut up!." Becky bucked heads at her boyfriend.
"We have no time for this!." said the other cub as the others ran past them.
Becky rolled her eyes and held her gun. "We will discuss this later, Kit."
"If there is a later, Becky," responded Kit resuming the sprinting.
Upon arriving at the back entrance they were welcomed by five police cars and quickly headed for taken cover. Bullets flew everywhere none stopped as the kids fired back and loaded their guns before opening fire. They managed to kill every last cop before taking one of the police's cars and driving as far away as possible. Becky floored the gas pedal and drive far away from the area they have gone to and went to plan B on reaching the train station and hiding on a moving train. Kit turned up the police radio to hear that they were on to them as the woman on the radio is informing that cops were heading in their direction.
"Damn it!." the other female cub said before hearing a helicopter.
"Seriously?!." cried the other boy.
"They sure taking their jobs very seriously around here," said Kit, pulling himself through the window to try and shoot the helicopter down.
The attempt failed as the cops on the chopper fired a machine gun and bust multiple holes in the back tires. Becky had to crash the car into the fence of the rail yard and grab her gun before exiting. Kit and the others made a run for it but the increase in the number of cops was overwhelming. They had shoot front, back, and sideways in the area that the cops were coming from. Kit saw the opportunity to make his personal plan to take action. He jumped behind a barrel and shot himself in the arm.
"Becky, I'm hit!." Kit called out.
Becky stopped shooting and heard her boyfriend. "No, Kit, I'm on my way!. Just hold on!."
"It is too late for me, Becky. You go on without me!." Kit yelled back while holding on to the bag of money he collected from the bank.
Becky started tearing up while shooting and hiding in the process. "No, I won't leave you!. I love you Kit Cloudkicker! "
Kit went further into his plan and fired multiple rounds while yelling in fake agony.
"No, Kit!!!!." Becky yelled in both sadness and rage. "Damn you, cops!. You killed my boyfriend!."
Becky fired every bullet and rounds she had. Completely lost track of the other two and notice that she lost her bag of money in the process and is now out of bullets. With luck on her side, the cops shoot down tear gases which gave Becky the chance to escape with her life. Crying her eyes out for losing the boy she loves dearly and would do anything for. Two days had passed since that day as Kit went out of hiding from an abandoned warehouse and wait for Don Karnage and his crew to come to pick him up. He made a deal with the leader of the air pirates a couple of weeks ago.
Kit wanted to join the ranks of the air pirates and Don Karnage wanted a small fee in exchange for the deal. Kit betrayed his girlfriend and their friends for his own personal gain. Now he hopes that he won't regret it in the near future. But things can happen when unexpected happens.
