Everyone falls in love someday. But when is that someday?
It was a bright day in Konoha. The birds were singing, the bees were buzzing, and…everything seemed normal.
But it was not.
On a familiar training ground, Sakura suddenly stopped in the middle of punching a log and declared, "Sasuke, I love you with all my heart! And because of my love I know you will come back!"
Far away in Otogakure Sasuke suddenly stopped doing, well, whatever he was doing. He felt the compulsion to return to Konoha because he had just gotten a flashback of that fateful day when he left. It was the call of Sakura's heart, he realized, and he knew he had to abandon his number one goal so he could be with her that moment. Immediately he zoomed past the countryside at an insane speed, reaching the training ground (passing all the border patrol without trouble) where he felt the pull was strongest. There he spied Sakura.
"Sakura, I have just realized that my heart belongs with you."
Sakura gasped and cried tears of joy. "Oh, Sasuke-kun!"
Elsewhere in Konoha, Hinata was practicing her special Hyuuga form when she decided that she'd had enough. She'd go and tell Naruto how she felt right now!
Naruto was eating his customary bowl of ramen when it suddenly came to him. How could he have missed all the clues over the years? He immediately left his bowl of ramen and rushed off to Team 8's training ground.
Hinata was running down the road, not looking where she was going, and BAM!
She ran into Naruto, who seemed to also be in a hurry.
"I was looking for you!" They stated simultaneously.
"Really?" Once again they did their double act.
This time Naruto spoke first. "Yes, I have suddenly realized that I love you and not Sakura! Please be with me forever!"
Hinata was shocked and happy. "Yes of course, dear Naruto-kun!" And so they held hands and skipped off.
Ino was sparring against Shikamaru when she felt it. The love bug.
"Oh my gosh, Shikamaru! I just realized that I've gotten over my silly childhood crush for Sasuke and I love you!"
Shikamaru was surprised, but nonetheless was not one to let the opportunity pass by. "Troublesome it may be, but truly, I love you too..!"
"Yay!" Ino squealed (much like a pig), and they hugged and ran off to find a flower field.
Kiba found a female dog user and hooked up with her; likewise with Akamaru and the dog user's female canine.
Shino felt the need to unite with his bugs, who were just like people, really (in his mind, at least). He disappeared off into the sunset.
Lee and Gai cried and hugged with tears streaming, waves crashing in front of the sunset Shino disappeared into.
Neji stopped acting like a cold bastard and proclaimed his love to Tenten, who immediately responded with the same sentiments (I love you).
Tsunade suddenly realized deep down that she lusted for white-haired perverts. Obviously, Jiraiya was not one to decline. He took her to his favorite place, the co-ed hot springs.
Iruka decided that he loved psychotic snake lovers and promptly submitted to Anko.
Kakashi stopped reading his Icha Icha book and went off in search of Kurenai. She was doing nothing in particular, so he felt the time was ready to admit his feelings. "Kurenai, I--"
Kurenai stopped him mid-sentence with a kiss, and they started some extreme PDA.
Asuma calmly drank his coffee and cigarettes. He smiled secretly, for he already had a girl. A certain Hokage's assistant and medic nin, to be exact.
Chouji squeezed his special gigantic chip bag with a crushing hug. "I will call you squishy and you will be mine," he whispered lovingly.
And so, as the sun set, everyone was happy, and they lived the rest of their lives happily ever after, for that someday was today.
