"BASTARD!" The Raziel arm-slaves all turned to the source of the shout. When they turned a dragon of light tore right through one of them instantly destroying it. The Raziels all stood on guard. Before they could move a hand of light gripped one of them and crushed it. They noticed another arm-slave had come.
Kurz and Melissa ARX-9's were flying right towards them. Another Raziel went to confront them but was halted and held half way by a hand of light coming from Melissa's machine. A barrage of lasers tore through the trapped machine from Kurz arm-slave. The Raziels watched as the ARX-9s turned to look at them. Just as they were about to go at them an explosion erupted in front of them.
One of the Raziels looked up at a large airship in ECS. "Sir, can we engage?"
"No, our mission is complete let's go before too much happens." The remaining Raziels all flew up into the air towards the airship. One more was blown up by a ray of light before it ceased all together.
"No!" Melissa's AS punched a nearby building it fell apart instantly a flash of light escaping every window.
"Sousuke!" Kurz kicked a large piece of debris into a nearby lake.
"Return to the Tuatha de Danaan." Mardukas voice came over their links. As they turned they saw found a piece of metal from Sousuke's AS. Kurz picked it up before beginning to head back to base. Melissa silently followed.
"I can't believe it." Melissa's voice was sulky.
"It can't be right? I mean he's our buddy. He's got to be here somewhere maybe we should look."
"It was confirmed. The clean-up will search the area we need to get back before people start coming and a small army of local authorities appear." Melissa's arm-slave's fist clenched as they walked down the damaged road.
"You think angel's okay?" Kurz voice was low.
"No."

-Tuatha de Danaan-
Mac stared at the screen with hard eyes. He was glad to see Sousuke die. He really hadn't gotten to know him and wanted to kill him the second he found out who he was. Mac had spent the past time since his sister's in his room sulking alone. He had wanted to take care of Sousuke himself. Having seen Sousuke he didn't seem so bad. From the report on the platform it had not been his fault for the battle. That didn't matter though he had taken his sister's life and now he had lost his. He would have grinned, been happy but he could not overcome the sense of dread in the room. He felt bad seeing the way Kaname had reacted. She hadn't broken down into a crying heap. She had more cried to herself. He was surprised she didn't go into a bawling rage. Tessa had started crying as well. He felt worst of all seeing her cry. He gave everyone in the room a once over. They all looked pale. He froze when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Mardukas's cold glare. He felt his blood go cold facing the man.
"You have some explaining to do."
Tessa heard this and wiped her eyes. She took a deep breath to try to control herself but to no avail. Though her feelings did not seem as strong as they had before the pain of it was still horrible. She felt horrible for Kaname she knew this must have hit her the worst.
When Tessa was able to calm down a little she spoke what she could.
"We…hic will speak abouthic this onehichourhic after Urzu 2 and 6 have returnedhic." She took a few more deep breaths.
"I will be sniffle in my room. Call me when we are ready to proceed. Mardukassniffle I leave Dana in your command for now."
"Yes ma'am." He saluted then gave her a soft look. "Would you like to set up a proceeding for Mr. Sagara?" She simply nodded then rose from her seat. She said nothing to Mac as she walked by. When she stopped in front of the door she turned back. Everyone was looking at her concern clear on their faces. She tried to force a smile but failed. "I'll be alright."
The door opened and she stepped out.
"Tessa!" Mac reached his hand out as he called for her but the door closed. He slumped down against the back of the captain's chair.
Mardukas stepped forward. "Send a message to Urzu 2 and 6, and to the rest of the Urzu team. I want them all in their arm-slaves in 5 minutes. Get Urzu 2 and 6 back on this sub."
"Aye sir!" the bridge staff instantly got to work on their jobs. The helicopter would be approaching soon. Mac turned his head to the Lieutenant Commander. He wondered why he would want them back in their arm-slaves.
Kaname sat with her legs pulled to her on the bed. She was clutching a pillow as she did. She had lost the ability to cry. The pictures from their first date were spread on the table next to her. Her face was red, and tear stains ran down her cheeks. Her eyes were slightly swollen from so much crying. She gripped the pillow as tight as she could. Her mother had died about there to four years ago. Back then she was younger, and felt like she had abandoned her, but still felt horrible. She had realized the truth later, and she never wanted to feel that pain again. Now she did what she thought was not possible. The pain had surpassed her pain at her mother's death. She had thought he died before when it was on camera at Amalgam. It was not as great as her mother's then but the pain was still bad. Now that things had happened between her and Sousuke the pain was almost unbearable easily surpassing anything she felt before. She did not have a good relationship with her father, and she had not seen her sister for awhile. Right now all she wanted was Sousuke back. If not that then she wanted the world to fade and leave her alone for now.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
She flinched when she heard a knock at the door. She wanted to scream at whoever it was. "Go away!" She buried her face in the pillow again. She didn't look up when the door slid open. The silver haired young man made his over to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and placed his hand on the crying girl's shoulder. She instantly slapped it away. She peaked an eye out from the side of the pillow to look at her intruder. She felt sick when she saw it was Leonard. He had not been allowed on the mission because his AS was still under maintenance after the scuffle with Gauron.
"Go away." Her words were muffled by the pillow. He smiled as he watched her. He tried to run his hand through her hair but she swatted him with the pillow.
"I said go away!"
"But Kaname dear… You are upset you should not be alone. Would you like to cry on my shoulder?" He smiled as he said this. She felt her stomach twist at this. Before Leonard knew it her fist collided with his face. His was on the floor rubbing his sore cheek. He did not appreciate the feel or taste of his blood as it dribbled out his mouth. He looked shocked as he stared at Kaname. Her fist was still outstretched, her breathing was deep and her anger was clear on her face. "But…"
"Shut up! Don't call me dear! You're probably enjoying this. If you're going to be all smug and try to take advantage of me then he should have killed you." She gave him an incredibly cold look as she watched him. His mouth opened and closed but no words came out.
"Get out." Her voice was low and full of venom. A clan of lion's would have run away from that even if she was already ready to eat and set on a silver platter. Leonard did not move for another moment. When he finally rose Kaname watched his every move. He took a step towards her. "Please Kaname. You'll be okay he was nothing any…"
"Shut up dammit! Who the hell are you to call him nothing? He was a lot more then you could ever be! You're too full of yourself to see past anything. Get out!"
Leonard smiled again. "You believe that now. You'll be okay then I'll…" Before he could say anything she grabbed his collar and threw him out the door. The door locked the second it closed. He looked back at the closed door. His face turned to anger before he stood and stormed down the hall.
She had slid down against the door. Her forehead felt good against the cold steel. Tears reformed in her eyes as she sat there. She banged on the door a few times before silently standing up. She looked at the small stone on her wrist and then back at the pictures. She felt a warmth spread through her as she examined the photos. She knew something like this could happen but she did not believe it would. Sousuke had seemed invincible. He had survived losing to Leonard then saved her. Of course she had to give herself up to keep Sousuke alive then. She put the pictures back in the small case, and laid on the bed. She clutched it to her chest as she lay there. She remembered how good she felt yesterday when he had said he loved her. She was ecstatic to return his feelings. She remembered last night they had been a little more intimate then before. She had enjoyed it. Now she regretted stopping. Though she did not feel she was ready she would have gladly made love to him if she knew he would be gone the next day. The thought scared and warmed her. She was worried that she would actually believe she would do that like that, but she felt good that she actually cared enough for him to admit that and be able to sacrifice for him. She shot up when she remembered something she had promised Sousuke. The conversation the other night when he said all the strange things but had promised to always come back had a promise on her part as well. She did not understand what he meant by always being allowed back even if something happened but she was sure it meant something. The thought gave her hope. She felt herself dose a bit as she sat there. She guessed the crying must have taken a lot out of her. She picked up the pictures again. "I'm going to need to get these enlarged." She smiled as she traced a finger along Sousuke's figure in one. She still loved the way he looked at her. She took a deep breath as she examined herself in the photos. She decided she would need to do some things while she had time.

"You have no regrets?" Schneider looked at the old man curiously. Travis puffed on the cigar as he stood up. "Yeah I have to admit Sousuke was a pretty cool guy. Getting all those people killed was a problem. The sailor escaped but I doubt he'll be able to do anything."
"And the children?"
"They're great. They regret it too but it must be done."
"Yes well we had a breakthrough in our research. If he had stayed alive he would have been a large threat. What concerns me though is what happened afterwards. I thought those AS were harmless but they easily destroyed three Raziels. Their manipulation of the lambda driver was flawless."
"Yeah whatever."
Col walked into room. "Hello Master Schneider. Travis what are you doing here?"
"Didn't you here? Our good buddy Sousuke is gone. I'm done playing around."
Col looked towards Schneider. He nodded.
"Travis please leave I must speak with Col." Schneider crossed his arms as he stared at Travis. Travis nodded then walked towards the door. "Heheh. See you two later."
Col walked in and took a seat.
"How did it happen?" Col gripped the arms of the chair. Schneider grinned noticing his actions. "Well someone is a bit anxious."
"You knew my intentions."
"Yes now let me ask you a question. Do you know why we are called Origin?"
"We are searching for that which makes us what we are. The one who speaks to us. The Whisperer I believe you called it."
"Yes do you know why we search?"
"No sir."
"We are whispered. As you know that gives us black technology among other things. Resonation and abilities such as what you hold are examples. Any whispered can attempt to learn to do what you do."
"Yes but how does Sagara know that? He was not whispered."
"He found our information along time ago. We captured him and examined him. We found some interesting results but he escaped. We sent Travis who helped him. We have learned little about Sagara despite this. We have learned few things. We learned of a woman he was trying to rescue but did not look into it. As you know some of our arm-slaves are similar to those of Amalgam's because we were once a part of them. Now we have unlocked more information getting us closer to our goal. Sagara had proven to be a problem. He would become a larger problem with what we learned."
"Then you should have let me…"
"Yes well back to the point. The reason I search for the whisperer is because I believe if that knowledge is unlocked if we tap into this we can unlock all forms of whispered abilities. One whispered may be able to hold the knowledge that is separated among whispered. One may possess lambda driver technology, and other technologies such as submarines or satellites. Do you understand such advantages? We may be able to put it down instantly rather then wait for one person to write down all the thought and information we can just take it. We will also be able to extend our physical abilities. You move exceptionally fast as it is."
Col eyed the man in front of him. He heard similar things from Sousuke but from a different view.
"Sagara has said other things that are similar. He spoke of something else though. I do not remember it exactly but I did not understand it then."
"Don't worry. There are still many things we are learning. I have tried speaking to the voice many times."
"Yes sir. I will return another time. Oh sir what about him?"
"Gauron is not a problem. He had his fun if he goes he will be no threat."
"Why did you heal him then?"
"Sousuke is a very intriguing person."
Col focused on the man for a moment before turning and exiting the room. Schneider rested his hands behind his head and leaned back in his chair. His face took on a hard look as if he was thinking deeply.
'We will see if it is true. For now at least he is gone.'

-Tuatha de Danaan-
"You bastard you shot at me!" Clouzot was busy holding back Spake from attacking one of the newly met pilots.
"Hey come get me." A brown haired girl taunted Spake as Clouzot held him. "Damn you!"
"Calm down Spake. Get in your AS. It's an order from the Commander."
Clouzot tightened his grip on Spake. Spake lifted his hands in surrender. "Ok ok I'm fine."
Clouzot looked at him once more. Spake nodded before Clouzot released him.
"Keep guard on them." He signaled to a group of armed soldiers.
"Yes sir!" They saluted then moved to proper positions to keep watch on the members of S.O.W.
"Jeez a bit jumpy aren't you." A young man looked at Clouzot who only ignored him. He waved as Clouzot turned towards his AS. "Everyone load up."
The Urzu team members all loaded into their ARX-9s.
"Stay on standby for five minutes as we load Urzu 2 and 6." The arm-slaves stayed crouched as the hatch to the hangar opened up. The could hear the sounds of the helicopter as it lowered in. Melissa and Kurz were still in their arm-slaves. Once released they would manually move them to proper hold positions. The helicopter release the hold on the first arm-slave. The vibration was felt as it thudded against the floor. After it moved out of the way the next one was dropped. Another vibration was felt as it landed. It moved to take position next to the first one.
"So why are we waiting in our arm-slaves?" Kurz sounded annoyed.
"Is it true that the Sousuke guy died?" Lilliane asked the question.
"Sousuke…we don't know?" Melissa sounded angry. Mardukas's voice came over their links. "I do not understand why but you will be receiving a message soon. Sit and listen to the message."
Everyone waited patiently for the message. Suddenly random lights went off inside the cockpits. "Whoa what the hell?" Kurz looked around as the lights went off. Suddenly the screen in front of them projected an outward image. Sousuke appeared on the screen.
"Sousuke…" Melissa believed it to be him for a moment.
"This is a recording in the event that the ARX-9 prototype that I pilot is completely destroyed. For those of you piloting the ARX-9 arm-slaves a limit restriction had been placed on each one even the extra units not being piloted. The point of this is too hold the ARX-9s power in check until it is necessary. Each of the ARX-9 arm-slaves has a unique AI system similar to AL which I'm sure you have built a relationship. Hopefully yours have come along well quickly compared to that of mine and AL's which took an extended period of time."
"Hello everyone." Al voice appeared on the video.
"Shut up Al. As I was saying the restriction of the ARX-9 was put there in purpose to keep anyone from seeing the capabilities and attempting to copy it. There are only to ways to extend beyond the restrictions. One way is too be able to manipulate the lambda driver at an extreme level. Another is the reason this message is playing. All ARX-9 systems should be superior in performance capability compared to it's previous ability. Once you exit your arm-slave changes will automatically take place to make use of the upgraded system simpler. You will have to discover the capabilities on your own. A few basic systems gives the AS the ability to engage in aerial combat without any problems or handicaps, among other things. Under water combat is also no longer a problem. As for the reason this system is being used. Despite my failures the reason the ARX system is successful is because it had the ability to always get better. The ARX system can with the pilot become unlimitedly greater then it was before. This allows for it to be able to defeat any enemy it faces. I cannot fully describe the reasons or intentions for these actions but this is what has been left to you. Use it properly. Sagara Sousuke signing off."
"And Al too."
The image instantly blinked off. All the pilots stared at the screen blankly.
"Anyone understand that?" Spake picked his nose as he asked the question.
"I think it means he left us an awesome gift." Kurz was still upset despite his upbeat tone.
"Jeez he helps in when he's gone. I think Kurz and I already did some of this. When Sousuke was ki…defeated we were able to fly as it said we thought it was a good jump. Then the manipulation of the lambda driver was amazing. The machines themselves also performed better as he said." Melissa explained.
"And we will work better next time." Melissa's AI spoke.
"Well apparently we have to listen to Mac's explanation now so let's go so these babies can change as he said…whatever that means." Lilliane said as she prepared to open her cockpit.
"Everyone be careful. We may need to speak about this later we should also inform the Captain about this." Clouzot said before exiting his AS.
"Yeah well we have about half an hour before he opens his mouth so let's chill." Kurz popped open his door then climbed down his arm-slave. Melissa exited hers.
"Hold on Kurz do you realize what just happened?"
He turned and made a V sign. "Sure so let's have some beer for awhile. You know they say it's good for the blues. Anyone want to come?"
"I'm coming moron." Melissa jumped off her arm-slaves knee.
"Me too." Lilliane was soon next to them. "Nah I got better things to do." Spake exited his then went on his way.
"I will make sure these people are taken care of then I will prepare myself." Clouzot looked at the four people technically being held prisoner standing by their arm-slaves.
"I'll see you later."
"See ya!" They turned then headed towards their chosen locations.
--
Tessa was lying upset in her room. She had her face buried into her quilts. Though she had stopped crying the pain had not subsided. She felt horrible. She felt as though she just lost a close friend. She would be strong in these kinds of situations. She had to expect to lose soldiers. He was not one of her soldiers anymore. The picture of her and Sousuke was face down on the floor so the picture was not exposed for anyone to see. She hoped to be better by the time they had to listen to Mac. She wished she could cry on Melissa's shoulder, or have another good friend with her. She thought about joining Kaname.
"I should check on her." Tessa lifted her head from the bed. She turned so that she was sitting on the edge. She grabbed her slippers rather then put them on. In her condition she would fall fifty times before she got there. She slowly made her way through he submarine. She faked a smile and waved to anyone who said hello. She realized no one new on the sub would understand the seriousness of the situation. She stood around a corner as she saw Leonard walk by. He looked angry. She waited until he was out of sight before continuing her walk. She stopped when she arrived at the door. She stared at the knob for about 10 seconds then took a deep breath. She placed her hand on the handle and tried to pull the door open. She fell backwards when it did not.
"Owww…" She rubbed her butt as she stood. She took another breath before knocking on the door. "Who is it?" Kaname's voice didn't sound incredibly down. In fact she sounded better then before. Kaname grew impatient when no one answered.
"Is that you again Leonard?"
"No it's…me Tessa." Tessa was now worried of looking like a worried wreck in front of Kaname. She heard the door unlock before it was opened.
"Hi Kaname. Do you mind if I…"
"Not at all." Tessa was surprised to see her greet her with a smile. Tessa saw the tear stains on her face. She figured her face must look similar. What surprised her the most was the way Kaname seemed to be okay.
"Anything you need Tessa?" Kaname sat on the bed next to her.
"Actually I came to check on you…"
"Oh. Well as you can see I'm fine."
For some reason Tessa felt something boil inside her. She did not know exactly why she was getting angry.
"Oh. So you're okay. That thing in the bridge was an act. A show put on for the staff."
Kaname raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"You never really cared about him did you?" Tessa voice raised an octave as her anger grew. Kaname turned red with anger and embarrassment.
"What's your problem? Of course I care about him, that wasn't an act."
"Right. I'm sure you're glad to have him out of your hair."
"You couldn't be more wrong. And what about you, you seem to like the red haired guy Mac a lot."
"Well you took Sousuke!"
"I did not he chose me!"
"Well it's not like he had a choice, it wasn't fair how you could spend time with him!"
"Jeez your as annoying as your brother right now. I cared for him more then anyone. More then you cared about him." Kaname tried getting herself under control.
"I doubt that!" Tessa shot up slamming her fist down. Kaname winced when she saw Tessa accidentally hit a picture on the desk. She was worried when it drifted to the floor in front of Tessa's feet. She went to pick it up but Tessa grabbed it first.
"Wait no don't!"
"What is…oh my." Tessa placed her hand over her mouth as she took in the picture. It showed Kaname kissing Sousuke. Kaname frowned seeing Tessa's face. She did not intend for anyone to see that picture. "You understand now?"
"Uh huh." That and nodding was all Tessa could do to respond at that moment. She flinched when Kaname took back the picture.
"I'm sorry."
"No problem."
"But if you…then why are you acting like nothing happened? You don't seem upset at all anymore."
Kaname placed her finger under her chin as she thought about it. "Well first of all Sousuke would want me to be strong. Ever since I went to Amalgam I started hating what I was becoming. You know I won a paintball fight against a friend of his once while I had no experience. Now all I do is worry, and cry or something. So first of all I can try to get back to normal. Also that war nut won't die so easily. He'll be okay."
"Are you sure?" Tessa focused on Kaname. She looked down and frowned.
"No I'm not sure, but I'm not unsure. I believe he can be okay."
"I see. Will you be coming to Mac's explanation?"
"Your boyfriend sure." Kaname closed one eye.
"He's not my boyfriend."
"Whatever you say. "
Tessa smiled at her. Kaname smiled in return.
"Was he good?"
"Huh?"
"Does Sousuke kiss good?"
"Oh." Kaname turned red. "For a war nut I think he had to be practicing his whole life because no one with that little experience should be able to kiss like that."
They each started laughing at the thought. They would be heading out to listen to Mac soon.
"So what are you going to do when you can get off this thing?" Kaname sat down on the chair at the desk. Tessa rubbed the back of her head and closed her eyes. "Well I thought I might come visit Jindai High again. You know how much I enjoyed my visits there."
"Yeah…poor Sousuke he almost killed himself trying to keep you safe. Sadly he went overboard and I had to fix that problem again. And the fights in his apartments, and you sneaking into his bed. I can't believe that kind of stuff almost did him in." The girls laughed again, they did not realize it but they were reminiscing about Sousuke.
"You know one time were supposed to look into an incident with girls apparently joining a brothel. When we got there it turned out to be a place for role-playing. He went right along into it. I had fun pretending to be his superior officer then. He actually listened as if it were real." Tessa giggled imagining what must have happened.
They ended their conversation when the speaker turned on. "Attention Captain. Please report to the briefing room."
Tessa and Kaname both took on a more serious expression. They were ready to listen and he'd better hope he said the right things.
Mac was sweating his ass off. He was nervous as hell having to explain the situation. He felt like he was on the world's more strict court. As if one foul up would get him killed on the spot. He looked around the room. Mardukas was giving him the cold stare. Tessa, and Kaname both watched him intently as if what he said would be really important. Adrian Gurevich was removed from service on the submarine a few days ago. He looked at the faces of the SRT members. He was really worried with Kurz and Melissa's looks. Clouzot gave him his basic look. Lilliane was almost similar to Tessa, and Kaname. Spake was picking his nose looking as if he didn't care at all.
He took a deep breath as he prepared to explain the situation.
"I work for an organization called Saviors of the Whispered or S.O.W. We are an organization dedicated to the complete protection and help for the whispered. Unlike Mithril we do not help with terrorist threats or do tasks in the name of justice. We interfere with a problem in the world if it will help a whispered person or people. We are not your enemy. I joined Mithril after I joined S.O.W. a retired Mithril veteran told me about it. I worked my way up until I was finally presented with such information as the existence of the Tuatha de Danaan. I was a good member. I did not give your information to my colleagues at S.O.W. or betray you at all. The fight on the oil platform with Sousuke was not my fault. We were investigating actions of Origin that may have taken place there. Origin is the enemy you fought with today, and before. They were once a unit in Amalgam but used resources and other materials without Amalgam knowing so they could further their cause. They developed a lot of things with out any one knowing. That's all we know though. We have no information on them except that they use a lot of whispered. The thing is the work for them willingly."
"I remember Sousuke mentioning something about this to me. The name Origin I remember it. He also said he knew someone named Travis." Kaname looked around at the staring faces.
"How do you know? How did he know?"
"I can't tell you… I promised."
Mac looked at her with a bit more force. "Please we need to know everything we can?"
'That's all he didn't say more." Kaname already felt stupid for telling them he mentioned it. It wouldn't do them any good to know. Besides she promised Sousuke her secrecy so she had to stay quiet on the rest.
Mac sighed.
"Fine. The reason you were attacked in Paris is because S.O.W. did not recognize you as official allies yet. Our technology is a bit better then Mithril's because we have a good amount of Whispered working for us to. Not as much as Origin not nearly as much. We also lack funds, and equipment like you guys. Losing arm-slaves is a big problem. Also I believe Sousuke was once an enemy. He helped protect Origin against one of our attacks. At least the AS was used. Judging by how well he knew how to repair it he must have been the pilot then. We did not actually see or make contact with him in anyway."
"I don't think he would help the bad guys." Kaname crossed her arms.
"Well I will not assume anything more yet. He killed my sister on that platform two days ago." The room went silent. Well it was silent but now an eerie aura was among them.
"At first I wanted to kill him myself. I expected him to gloat his success in combat. It was so hard seeing he was not a person who's death would be bad. He was not a bad person. I doubt I could have beat him in a fight anyway. I still harbor a hate for him though. No matter who he was killing my sister is unforgivable." They could see the tears roll down his eyes.
"Well I believe that covers everything. We would like to join in cooperation with you now that you know we exist. I believe it would benefit us both. We could equip you with new arm-slaves and build more."
"No thank you. Our arm-slaves are good enough. We will not be needing new ones." Clouzot spoke up. Despite his way he took the information in the message very seriously and owed Sousuke at least his trust.
"But…" Mac stopped when he saw the look from the SRT members.
"Ok I get it. We can still supply more technology and pilots."
Tessa stood up. "We can join in cooperation but we should still keep distances in certain subjects. It would be best if we did not become completely dependant on each other. That would be bad if something were to happen. We may also run separate operations. This will help us gather information. Fro now this is a start on some ideas. We should talk about this with both organization's superiors present. We will decide then. For now this meeting is over. You are free continue your duties in Mithril. You pilots will be allowed to be free but will be under surveillance. I'm sorry if that bothers you. We can go." No one said another word as they shuffled out of the room. Tessa and Mac were left standing in the room.
"I'm glad you're not an enemy." She lowered her head a blush taking on her face.
"I'm glad you trust me." He walked over and took her hand. "I won't betray you I promise."
Tessa looked up and smiled at him. For once she forgot about Sousuke.
Kaname was happy for Tessa. She saw the two as she exited the room. Kaname sighed when she saw Leonard.
"How did it go?"
"Not bad why?"
"Well I was wondering if you would like to go eat with me."
"After what happened earlier what are you stupid?"
"Oh I have forgiven you for that."
Kaname's eyes twitched as she looked at him. She wanted to punch him again.
"Well I haven't forgiven you. I am going to eat though so if you must go to the cafeteria and wait there. I have to take care of something first."
Leonard smiled then nodded. She watched as he walked off in the other direction. She hurried back to Sousuke old room. When she was there she pulled out her cell phone. She dialed her father's number. The phone rang without any problems. She wouldn't have to worry about fees for long distance or even pay for the service.
'Thank you Sousuke for this phone.' She thought. She also thought she would kiss him if he was there right then. She stopped thinking about it when the phone was picked up.
"Chidori residence this is Shunya speaking."
"Hi father. How are you?" .She was surprised her father was home and not in the office. She was also glad they were awake. She did not know what time it was where she or they were. She was not wearing her watch and did not feel like going into her pocket now that they answered. She did not speak to her father much. It was a bit awkward since she was not home, and would not be able to tell him much. Besides their relationship not being so well made this awkward enough as it was.
"Kaname is that you? Oh thank god I was worried when you went missing. The fight in Japan months ago was on the news world wide. I know you left with them someone called Mithril informed me. Are you ok?"
Kaname was glad her father was so worried. It made her feel good that he cared.
"Yes I'm fine. I'll be coming to visit soon is that all right?"
"Of course."
"How's Ayame?" Just then they heard a snicker on the phone.
"Ok brat open up!"
"Hi Kaname how are you sis? Any boyfriends yet?" Shunya froze on his end. Kaname started getting worried. Her sister was still mischievous.
"No of course not. Though it's not a problem if I do have one. Not like I'd tell you though."
"Your so mean."
"Nyah." Kaname stuck her tongue out though no one could see the gesture.
"I'm glad to see your in good spirits." Shunya sounded more calm now. A bit happier as well. "When will you be coming?"
"Soon maybe this week."
"Any one coming with you sis?"
Kaname thought a moment. She could invite Kyouko. She would bring a certain ex-sergeant had he been around.
"Maybe if they can come, or if they show up in time."
"Male or Female?" Shunya sounded serious. Even though a boyfriend was not a restriction he would like to know who was coming.
"I don't know?"
"She's got to have a boyfriend if she might be bringing one instead of a girl." Ayame giggled into the phone.
"Dad can we talk when I get there. I know we're not on the best of terms."
There was a pause on the line a moment. Had she been there she would have seen him smile.
"Of course."
"Ok love you guys." Kaname blew a kiss into the phone.
"See ya sis. Bring the guy." Ayame giggled again.
"Goodbye." Shunya was the last to say his farewell.
Kaname waited for the other end to hang up before she did. She did not plan on going to the cafeteria. She still had to wait a few more hours before she would be able to go back to Japan though. She decided she was hungry however. She would go to the kitchen and maybe help the man who cooked there before just like last time when she came aboard when Gauron took the sub. She made sure everything she had was safe. She placed her bracelet in her pocket before heading out the door.
