Chapter 26

When she exited the building she looked around. It had been dark for about 2 hours now. She moved her head around trying to locate him. She stopped when she saw his figure illuminated by a streetlight. He was turned staring out toward the city. She walked over to him. "Sousuke." He turned slowly to face her. His face had a blank look on it. She felt her heart beat faster as he stared at her. She felt a strange feeling. His eyes looked as if they could see right into her soul. She caught her breath when he opened his mouth.

"Who are you?"

She felt a deep pain in her chest. She stared at him pleadingly. She wanted to reach out to him but was too shocked, and hurt to think straight. She had been ecstatic to find out he was alive. Now she hurt. She took a step towards him.

"It's me Kaname."

"I am aware of your name you told me it over the phone." His voice sounded blank.

Kaname brought the harisen down on his head. The passing people turned to watch as the event took place. "Ow Kaname that hurt…" He slowly rose rubbing his head.

"If you knew who I was then why did you ask? Jeez you're lucky I didn't hit you just for saying you don't remember me. Hmmphf." She glared at the amnesia tic ex-sergeant. He only looked at her with confusion. He had that strange feeling like he recognized something similar to Mika had done the same action. This time the feeling was stronger. Sadly he could still only recognize a feeling. "Do you remember now?"

"Negative."

She stopped and looked at him. The look in his eyes told her he really didn't remember.

She gripped the harisen tighter. Her knuckles turned white, and she clenched her teeth.

"This always happens to me. We have final exams next week and then we get summer vacation. They altered the schedule for the school because of what you did months ago. You were doing so well and now you don't even remember. It figures. You can be such a moron sometimes."

She crossed her arms and looked at him. His head was lowered. He looked guilty as he stared at the floor. She felt bad. She did not mean to hurt his feelings. She blinked when she felt something hit her nose. She took a moment before she looked up. Something else hit her cheek. Soon a light sprinkle of water was dancing along their bodies. They could already feel it would be getting stronger. She looked back at Sousuke. He was staring at her. Examining her to see if maybe she held some secret to his memory. She felt uncomfortable being stared at like that.

"What are you doing don't stare at me like that." She pointed her harisen at him. Despite the rain the paper based weapon did not seem to be affected. He looked away a red tint on his cheeks. She smiled at how cute he could still be. "Come on let's find somewhere to rest for the night." She pulled out an umbrella from her bag. It wasn't very big.

"We can stay at a friend's house tonight. Besides I would like to check on the condition of someone."

Kaname nodded. "Ok."

"Would you like me to carry that for you?" He pointed towards her suitcase.

"Sure." She smiled and handed him the bag. She did not wish to make him carry it but her arm was killing her, and she had a feeling she would be needing it. Her harisen might be getting a good workout. Ht took the bag and began walking. The rain almost pounding against him. He stopped when he felt something block the almost down pour.

"Why don't we take a taxi?" She smiled again. She turned and signaled to see if they could get a ride. Luckily an empty taxi stopped for them. Sousuke did not bother loading the bag into the trunk. Kaname held the umbrella out and told him to get in. When he refused she showed him the harisen. He stepped into the taxi without further hesitation. Kaname shook the umbrella to remove as much water as she could as she entered the taxi. She closed the door the outside hardly visible as the rain pounded against the fogged up window.

"Where you heading?"

Sousuke gave the address to the house. He sat back and watching the driver for anything suspicious.

"You two going on a vacation or something?" The driver looked at the two through the rear-view mirror. Kaname would not currently call them a couple. Sousuke didn't even know half of the things they had done.

"Please this is far from a vacation." She crossed her arms and looked out the window. Truth was she was delighted Sousuke was okay…mostly. She did not look forward to trying to get his memory back. At least most of her didn't. Part of her was thinking of ways to help him remember. She turned to the socially innocent young man next to her. He kept his eyes locked on the back of the drivers head.

"So if you're not on a vacation was is it. Did you get back from a honey moon or something?"

Kaname turned bright red. "We're still in high school buddy."

The driver chuckled. "So people are doing things at much younger ages these days. If you know what I mean."

Kaname felt like smashing the drivers head out the window with her harisen.

Sousuke was suspicious when the man said 'know what I mean.'

For some reason he felt it was some kind of code or signal and that he should dispatch the man quickly. Even without is memory his instincts as a hitokiri, even though he was unaware of what they were, were still at full shot.

Kaname ignored the driver. He would not be giving in so easily though. "Eh son? You two ever…"

Something snapped. Sousuke felt something inside him click as the implications of the driver. He did not understand him but some part of him did. Soon the muzzle of his gun was against the driver's skull.

"SOUSUKE!" Kaname would have hit him but did not have much space and the driver deserved it.

"You will apologize right now." Sousuke pressed the gun deeper into his temple.

"I'm sorry. PLEASE! Just don't kill me!"

"Take us to the location specified and say nothing else to anyone about this. If you do I will locate you and make sure you are silenced." Sousuke waited for the man to nod before puling the gun away. The man had a small mark on his temple where the barrel had been. When he turned to Kaname she had a look on her face that hurt him for some reason he did not know. She looked slightly scared. He was quickly corrected when the harisen smashed his head into the cushion of the seat.

"Jeez what's wrong with you pointing your gun at a taxi driver?"

"I'm sorry I do not know what came over me."

"I do you military misfit!" Kaname started shaking him by his shirt. His head shook as if he had no bones in his body.

The driver was breaking speed limit as he raced towards the address. He was scared out of his mind having these two people in the back of his vehicle. It was dangerous driving on the road at night with the rain making it hard to see, and causing the roads to become slippery. The teenagers in the back did not notice as Kaname continued to punish Sousuke fervently for his actions. Slapping sounds and the harisen could be heard along with names such as Baka! and war-nut, and other things in Japanese he did not understand.

"Kaname my body seems to remember this keep doing it."

"Gladly!"

After about five minutes she ended her assault. Sousuke sat obediently in the back seat. The driver was sitting in a wet seat the scare from before a little more than he could handle. The driver thanked god when they reached the house. After the two stepped out he did not wait for the money or any thank you before he accelerated away. Kaname held out the umbrella for them as they approached the door. Sousuke carried her suitcase. When they reached the porch she shook her umbrella to dry it. Before any of the knocked the door flew open and Mika was on top of Sousuke.

"Where did you go?" She clung on to Sousuke's shirt.

"I went to pick up this young woman here." Sousuke tilted his head toward Kaname. She did not like the way he addressed her but she would let it go since he had amnesia. Unfortunately for him she didn't. Kaname smiled as she greeted the young girl.

"Hi."

Mika's face gleamed with joy her eyes sparkling. "Wow you're so pretty." Mika ran around Kaname examining her. Kaname was wearing a pale blue shirt and a pair of jeans stopping at her shins along with socks and shoes of course. "Are you Sousuke's girlfriend I'm sure he's seen you wear prettier things. But this is still nice."

Kaname smiled at the little girl. She then crouched down resting on her toes and faced the little girl. She whispered to her.

"Yeah but don't let him know that." She placed her finger over her lips in a silence signal and closed one eye. Mika caught on quickly. "Okay Sousuke let's go inside. My daddy ordered pizza. It just got here so it's hot."

Mika tugged Kaname inside. Sousuke stood up and grabbed the suitcase before entering. He felt a sense of dread come over him as if something bad was about to happen. When he was inside he placed the bag down. While Kaname and Mika headed towards the living room he searched for Kenji Nomura. He found the man sitting in his study working on something on his laptop. He pressed a few more buttons before he closed the laptop.

"Done." When he looked up he spotted Sousuke. "Oh hi Sousuke so your back. Remember anything?"

"Yes only very little though."

"That's too bad." He pushed his chair back and stood up. "Well I guess your staying here tonight. Let's get some pizza." He walked over and placed his hand on Sousuke upper back to lead him out of the room.

"About that. I brought a guest with me. Do you mind if she stays?"

Kenji smiled before continuing to lead Sousuke out. "Sure no problem. Who is she?"

"Her name is Kaname Chidori. She has violent tendencies, and apparently knows me."

They heard the patter of running feet as they approached the living room. Mika was whispering into Kaname's ear when they arrived.

"He said what…?" Sousuke felt an unknown fear when he saw her eye twitch. The look she turned on him made him look like a deer caught in someone's headlights.

"Oh Sousuke."

Sousuke turned and ran down the hall. Kaname quickly followed. He ran towards the room he stayed in before. He looked around the room. He felt better when he spotted a window. He ran over and started to open it. Before he could he heard the door behind him slam and lock. He froze for moment. A big mistake because Kaname grabbed his collar and slammed him to the floor. Sousuke closed his eyes and placed his arms in a blocking position as he braced himself for her attack. He opened his eyes when nothing came. Kaname was crouched by his side watching him. She just watched him. He rose to a sitting position and looked at her. She closed her eyes and forced a smile when he did. He felt strange seeing that smile. He could see the pain hidden behind it. He raised his hand and slowly cupped her cheek. Unconsciously she sighed as her head rested into his palm. When she realized what she was doing her eyes shot open and she turned away.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For hitting you earlier."

"It's not a problem. I gave you permission. It helped me slightly anyway. I remember little things but only small details nothing much." He paused for a moment. They both sat silently in the dark room.

"Who are you…to me?" His voice was low. Kaname sighed when he asked the question. How do you tell a guy about your whole relationship? Can you make someone remember because they said they loved you?

"I have amnesia but I have a strong feeling towards you. I do not understand it but hearing you voice, seeing you gives me a strange feeling. When it comes to this I want to remember more then anything for some reason." He reached into his left pocket and pulled out the dolphin keychain. "Seeing this makes me feel strange as well."

Kaname leaned closer to him with a smile on her face. She clasped both her hands around his left hand and the keychain. "I am Kaname Chidori. You are Sousuke Sagara."

She looked into his eyes. She saw the confusion in his eyes. As well as that feeling she saw in his eyes she saw no where else that made her feel safe with him. She embraced him now. She rested her head on his shoulder.

"But…" He couldn't figure out what to say. He lifted his arms then wrapped them around her. He felt her grip tighten. She lifted her head and whispered in his ear.

"I love you…" He felt a strange feeling in his chest again. He did not understand it either but he enjoyed it very much. His expression went from shock to caring when he looked at her. They loosened their embrace so they could look at each other. He could see the sense of longing she felt. He ran his thumb along her lips. He rested his hand against her cheek and started rubbing her cheek bone. He did not know why but this feeling felt familiar to him. Before he could think anymore she moved towards him. He had no time to react as their lips met. He found himself returning her kiss. His hands ran along her back as they kissed. The feeling to search every inch of her body taking place. He pulled back when he felt a sharp pain in his head. He moved to his knees gripping his skull.

"Sousuke what's wrong?" Kaname moved next to him worry clear on her face. She placed her hand on his shoulder.

He could not see the floor. He saw strange images in front of him. Lights, sounds, words, people everything. He could hardly identify anything he was seeing and could not put details to anything. Suddenly the image stopped. He looked around the large dark room. He could hardly identify anything he saw. He looked towards the center of the wall at the other end of the room. He saw red lights running up something. He could not identify what it was. He walked closer but could still not make anything out. When he was almost in front of it all he could make out was a strange shape similar to a man. Red eyes stared back at him. He placed his hand out to touch it. Right before he made contact everything moved again. He saw images of battlefields. He saw a strange man the name Tiger of Badakhshan played in his head. He saw a little boy wearing cloth and killing people. Kashim. A strange man with a wicked smile appeared. The name Gauron popped into his head. He continued seeing battlefields. He focused when he saw a man similar to someone he had met recently. The man was old with white hair and a goatee like beard. Kalinin the name was instantly placed on that man. He saw many more battlefields. A blonde man with exceptional shooting skills yet he was a pervert. Kurz Weber. He saw strange adventures with this man. He saw a black haired woman smoking cigarette and beating the blonde haired man. Melissa Mao.

A small silver haired girl and a young man who looked similar to her with the same colored hair. Leonard and Teletha Testarossa was what they were named. He could tell it was not in order. This continued further through more military type areas. A large submarine battle and soldiers he knew were now dead. He saw a machine a white one. The machine was destroyed by the silver haired young man and something was taken away. He felt another sharp pain at this sight. A red haired girl and a black haired man in a trench coat. He fought the black haired man yet that man was still able to kill the red haired girl. He felt extreme anger when he saw this. Nami appeared in his head. He saw a school now. Shinji Kazama, Kyouko Tokiwa, and the rest of the class appeared in his head. A green haired boy who caused him nothing but trouble. The black haired girl Mika causing him trouble. Then he went back to the sub. He looked at a picture of a young girl. Then he was back at the school. He saw her. The girl was the same as the one beside him. She seemed to hate him but the words 'He's interesting.' Took her voice. His mind filled with memories of time spent with this girl. He felt guilt at all the trouble she was put through with terrorist, and because of him. He saw a large teddy-bear like thing wearing a green hat, and the orange haired cop. His memories continued with the blue haired girl. He saw her help on a submarine, and come to him when he left her. He saw a blue stone on Christmas, and then the white haired boy again. Taking her away. He saw many more battlefields. More events with the red haired girl. Then after her death he continued. The black haired man still had yet to be dealt with. He saw a lab. Weird experiments. Then strange things he could not identify. He saw an old man and a sick hated filled him. A feeling of betrayal. He stopped when he reached a place he saw before. After the incident on the submarine he was somewhere with the blue haired girl. He was now there again but it was night. The two spoke and then held each other. Then he felt something he had never felt before. His memories soon pushed forward. He went through a lot more with this girl. A field trip, and beach, the wicked smiling man, then he was on a platform fighting for his life. Later he was in Paris. The image stopped with him and the blue haired girl again. They were on a boat. 'I love you…' Those words. They had both said them. He later ended up with unfamiliar feelings and the girl was lying with him without her shirt he didn't have his either. He felt a sweet warmth. He saw images of good times with her and bad times. A years worth of his best memories were centered around her. Then he saw strange flying machine. A lot of them. Then he saw the white light. He remembered waking in the little girl's house. Suddenly he felt another sharp pain. He understood it all. Every single memory that he had seen all of them. He understood. He heard a sweet voice calling him.

"Sousuke. Sousuke."

He opened his eyes. His nose was bleeding but he was alright he turned to the girl beside him. The look on her face let him know she cared. He smiled, and then so did she. She wiped the blood from his nose with a napkin form her pocket.

"Kaname I remember now."

She smiled then leapt into his arms.

"I love you." He whispered into her ear.

"I love you too." She moved so that she could kiss him again. He held her tight as they did. She pulled away. He wiped away the tears running down her cheeks.

"You scared me. Jerk."

He removed a strand of hair from her face. She smiled and pecked him on the lips.

"Come Chidori…" He swallowed when she glared at him.

"I haven't forgotten that, 18 counts now."

"But…"

She hugged him tighter.

"Let's go. We will go back to Japan tomorrow."

"Okay." She wiped another tear from her eyes before standing up. Sousuke stood once she was off of him.

"I wonder why my memory came back so suddenly when I was with you." Sousuke's

He turned to her. She smiled at him now.

"I really believe I can do anything when I'm with you Kaname. I believe even without my memory I still loved you. That was the feeling that bothered me the whole time because I did not understand it."

"I believe too Sousuke. You know you're still the same without your memory. A crazy otaku."

"Considering I have the memories of the past day as well I would say so. Officer Wakana is as troublesome as that little girl to actually be here."

They walked down the hall back towards the living room. Mika was sitting on her father's lap eating pizza and watching TV.

"You two finished. You didn't break anything did you?" Mr. Nomura turned to them.

"No sir." Kaname answered.

"Good then let me show you to your rooms before you eat. That way when you want you can head to be with out waiting for me. Kaname do you mind the guest room. I was planning on having you sleep in Mika's room but we bought the house with a guest room for such occasions. You have four choices. Mika and Kaname can share her room while Sousuke takes the guest room. Mika can sleep with me Kaname can take her room, and Sousuke take the guest room. Kaname can take the guest room, Mika sleep in hers, and Sousuke can take the fold out couch. Or you two can take the guest room." They both turned red at the last option.

"I will sleep on the couch. Shifting it into bed form is unnecessary." Kenji nodded before leading them to the rest of the rooms. Kaname whispered to Sousuke.

"You know I'd really like to sleep in my bed again. I haven't since we left on the field trip."

"But didn't you return to Japan?"

"Yeah but only for a couple hours, I went to see my family in New York. You were on the news. Lucky for you I was visiting them or I wouldn't have been able to get over here so quickly and you'd still have amnesia."

"I see."

"When we get back you're sleeping in that bed too."

"It's not a problem."

--

A young girl with red hair entered the room.

"Hello." Schneider greeted her with a smile.

"Hello sir how are you?" She smiled as she took the seat in front of him.

"I'm fine how are you? Coffee?" He asked as he poured his own cup.

"No thank you. I'm fine"

"Well how has everything been going have you adjusted well?"

"Yes sir very much." The girl leaned back in the chair. She took a moment to look around the room. "This is nice."

"Thank you. How did your escape go?"

"I found a replacement for me easily and no one knew. Sadly the unit was destroyed. My brother probably thinks I'm dead. I'd like to tell him otherwise but that would be dangerous."

"Yes well you do know you have betrayed him."

"I have not betrayed my brother. I simply chose a different path from S.O.W."

Schneider chuckled into his glass as he drank.

"Well it does not matter our biggest threat has been removed. Without him around everything should go smoothly."

"Well your new toys look like fun."

"Yes. Well I must be going." Schneider stood and put on his coat. The red haired girl followed him as they exited the room."

-S.O.W. Headquarters-

"Wow this place is nice." Kurz said as he looked around. It hadn't taken long before both organizations agreed to work together. Of course they had restrictions between each other. The headquarters for S.O.W. was on an island about 300 miles south of Merida island base. It was a large facility but because of the limited amount of trees on the island much of the base is under the ground. They use a camouflage system to hide the part of the base sticking out of the surface.

Melissa smoked her cigarette as they walked. Tessa, Mardukas, Mac of course, and the Urzu team were all there as well as other Mithril staff members. Mac was guiding them around the facilities. They had seen the most everything. It was nothing out of the ordinary. It resembled many bases. They gasped when they reached the area where they gained all their technology. Whispered people were working, and writing and doing anything you can think of to take down data. A lot of the data was nothing special and Mithril already had all of it. They expected something a bit more but as they said they had little funds. Mithril had gained a lot of technology form Amalgam, and Leonard. They were advancing their abilities as they walked around this facility. As powerful as Mithril was becoming a little more help would be appreciated. But whether cooperating with these people would do that or not was questionable. The focused on a tall kind looking man who stepped in front of them. He had brown hair that was already grayed at the sides. He had light beard more like a shadow for facial hair. He wore a lab coat over a suit as well as a simple pair of glasses.

"Everyone this is our leader. Otto Baxter." Mac introduced the man who stepped in front of them. He held out his hand in greetings. Tessa stepped forward to greet hi seeing as she was the captain. His large hand seemed to swallow hers as they shook.

"You must be Tessa. Mac has told me much about you."

Tessa blushed. Mac turned away scratching the back of his head.

"Thank you. It's good to meet you."

The man smiled at how cute she looked with the blush on her face.

He stopped and turned around. "This is where we get a lot of information. A lot of whispered have the same information so we have been running out of advancements. So far we have been at a delayed point for three weeks. We have been here for ten years. At first attempting to collect information. Getting whispered to come here willingly was difficult but people soon used their gifts to try to help the organization. It took us most of nine years to get a lot of people so we were never active. Now we have pulled in many but being whispered is unpredictable and we cannot tell who has what knowledge so a lot of it was just extra data. We have made many advancement s this year. From what Mac tells me you are doing quite well yourselves."

"Yes we are making advancements ourselves. Because of our resources they are coming along swiftly and easily."

"I see. So you must be questioning our usefulness."

Tessa lowered her head. Yes while you might be able to help none of your data is new compared to ours. Also we do not know if you may prove to be a hindrance to our organization. We have to keep certain limits between us to keep both from falling because of one another."

Baxter nodded his head. "You are absolutely correct. I did not invite you here expecting you to join however. If you say no you can leave peacefully. You will not be our enemies."

Tessa stepped forward. "We can at least try before we fully decide."

Baxter nodded. "Excellent. Well you have seen our facilities they are not complicated. They must be similar t most bases. Our original goal was to defeat Amalgam. But we found out about another force which we are focusing on. I wish there was no need for such weapons in the world so young people such as you young lady or you Mac could have lived normal lives."

Mac patted the man's shoulder. Tessa felt a strange feeling looking at him like that. Mac seemed different there with the man. He was more mature understanding. A different person yet the same. Tessa found herself turning red so she turned her head down.

"Yes well we must be going."

Mac shook the man's hand before returning to the group. He took step next to Tessa as they made their way back to the Tuatha de Danaan.

-Nomura Residence-

"Jeez that was fast. I tried all day but I got nothing and you do it in five minutes. You're amazing." Mika clung onto Kaname as they sat on the couch. Kaname patted the girls head. Kenji put the movie in the DVD player then took his seat.

"What are we watching?" Sousuke walked in carrying pop-corn, and drinks.

"We're watching Spider-man2. It's not new but I haven't seen it. I wanted to watch Dawn of the Dead because it has action, and zombies but Daddy said it was inappropriate for me because of the violence and certain scenes. I only let it go because Sousuke's here."

Mika rested took a handful of popcorn and took a big drink of her soda. Mr. Nomura turned around with a disappointed look. "Now Mika the movie hasn't even started and you know you're not supposed to gobble that stuff down."

"Wes bwabby." She said before she swallowed the contents in her mouth.

I told you your manners were worse then mine." Sousuke made the mistake of sitting down after his comment. Mika tossed a handful of popcorn on him. He had pop-corn sitting all over his head, chest, and shoulders. "Shut up! That's not fair this isn't fancy eating time."

"Neither was this morning."

She tossed more pop-corn on him. Mr. Nomura laughed as he watched his daughter attack her guest, and occasional hero. Sousuke glared at the young girl. Kaname picked a piece of pop-corn on him and ate it. He turned to her a confused look on his face. She giggled before saying. "It taste better this way." Then picked one off his chest and ate it. Sousuke turned red then turned toward the screen.

"Okay everyone settle down." Mr. Nomura took his seat. At the rate things were going it was going to be a long night.

They were actually able to sit through the movie in peace mostly. Mika went teary-eyed at the part where the children saw Spider-man without his mask. Sousuke complained at the part with poor work on the police officers part. Kaname had to hit him with the harisen when he started to get a bit out of hand. The mentioning of heroes had Kaname looking at Sousuke a lot. When the movie finished Mika said how great it was before falling asleep. Mr. Nomura rose from his seat.

"I'll take her to bed. You two going to sleep?" He took Mika as he waited for their answer.

"I am not ready to sleep just yet." Sousuke rose from his spot and headed towards the front door.

"Me neither." Kaname thanked Mr. Nomura before going after Sousuke. Mr. Nomura watched as Sousuke exited the front door. Kaname went out after him. He turned to his daughter in his arms before walking back to her room.

Kaname found Sousuke standing on by a pole in the corner of the porch watching the rain. The porch light was off so the visibility was not good enough for her to see his face from her angle. She walked closer to him. She could feel the tiny sprays of rain that blew in the wind dancing across her skin. Sousuke didn't say anything as she leaned up against him. "What's wrong Sousuke?" Her head was turned so she could look out at the rain as well.

"Today earlier. I believe I saw Kalinin."

"So?"

"He is a traitor Kaname. He is part of the reason you were kidnapped."

Kaname looked down a moment. She could hear Sousuke's heartbeat as her head leaned against him.

"Let's sit down Sousuke." Kaname lead him to the cushioned porch bench. She had him sit down first. She sat down next to him but angled it so she could lean on him a bit.

"Listen Sousuke being at Amalgam was hard. But at least I wasn't treated like a slave or prisoner. I'm better off than most people. I want to put things behind me. I don't want you going off to chase someone and leaving me alone again. When you fought in Paris and… "

"I…" Sousuke lowered his head.

Kaname turned to him. He looked away. "What is it Sousuke?"

"I have to leave soon. I will stay to finish the final exams but afterwards I must go. I will not chase Kalinin. I have no way of locating him now anyway. He is not my concern though. "

"Why do you have to leave Sousuke?" Kaname did not want him to go of course. With her recent scare the feeling was worse.

"I saw something…I cannot completely remember it but there is something I must do. Al was destroyed again. I have to find him."

"Find? How do you find AI?" As far as anyone was concerned AI was created so he was sure the idea would confuse anyone.

"I have many things I must do. I need to get better to defeat Col."

"Who's Col? Sousuke there is a lot you have to tell me."

"Yes." He turned to stare at the rain again.

"Tell me what happened in Paris. How did you escape?"

Sousuke continued to stare at the rain. The images if the battle played themselves in his mind. "Kaname forget Kalinin I will have to deal with Travis first. He has something that belongs to me."

"Travis you mean the guy from the phone. What did he do?"

"He betrayed me." Kaname watched Sousuke's eyes take on a cold look. She saw the multiple reflections dance in his eyes. She could tell whatever he was talking about it was serious.

"Okay Sousuke. You get Al back. After you pass. You can tell me more when we get back to Tokyo. Until then there is something I've wanted to do all day."

Kaname moved Sousuke so that he was lying down. She rested on top of him. He turned red having her in that position pushed her breast against his chest. Kaname kissed Sousuke. Sousuke kissed her without any resistance. Their kiss soon turned much more passionate. Their tongue wrestled with each other. Sousuke's wrapped his arms around her and let them rest on her lower back. They did this for 10 seconds before he broke their kiss and started kissing her along her jaw. He nibbled and kissed her earlobe. He enjoyed the small noises she made as he did this. He worked his way between her neck, jaw, and ears as best he could. Kaname was on top so his mobility was limited. Kaname pulled up negating his actions. He stared at her a moment. Kaname smiled at him before leaning forward and breathing on his ear. She felt him shiver slightly. She knew he was not used to such actions. Of course neither was she. She enjoyed the way Sousuke touched her. Leonard and every other guy who groped her were more forceful. Leonard who was the only other male who had kissed Kaname could kiss. But he was to full of himself making him lacking in ability. When she kissed Sousuke she practically melted.

She remembered their last night in Paris. They had done a little more that night and he was nothing but patient and gentle. She enjoyed the cool breathe, and sprays of light rain as she kissed his neck while on the bench. Sousuke lifted her up by her ribs. He held her elevated above him.

"We should go to bed."

Kaname pouted. Sousuke motioned her so that he could get up while carrying her. When they entered all the lights were off meaning that both Mr. Nomura and Mika had gone to bed. Sousuke flipped a switch turning on the light. He still held Kaname as he went down the hall to the guest room. It was the room where he had lied unconscious for days. He moved the quilt while holding Kaname. She had her arms around his neck to help hold herself up. Sousuke laid her down on the bed and covered her as if he was putting a child to bed. "Goodnight Kaname." Sousuke turned to leave.

"What no good night kiss?"

Sousuke turned around and bent down to kiss her. She grabbed his ears and pulled him down for a deeper kiss. He lost his balance and grabbed something for support. Kaname moaned when he accidentally squeezed her soft mounds. He turned red and instantly let go. His mistake was he had not gotten his balance. He fell face first on top of her. They were both red thought he darkness hid most of it. Sousuke quickly rose. When he looked at Kaname he saw her glare through the darkness. Her face drew closer. He flinched but all that came was a kiss on his nose.

"Kaname."

"You don't have permission. Hentai. "

"Uh."

A swift thwap! Could be heard along with the silent rolling of Sousuke's body across the floor. When he rose he turned towards the room. The door was closed. Sousuke sighed as he walked over to the couch. He had a lot ahead of him but for now he had at least a week to worry about school trouble. At least that wouldn't kill him.

-Miami International Airport-

"Bye bye come back soon." Mika waved to Sousuke and Kaname. Sousuke had a rather large bump on his head. He had woken up early to get an early flight which meant Kaname had to wake up early.

"Bye guys." Kaname had only met them but Mika was really attached to her. She could tell the little girl really liked Sousuke. Mr. Nomura had been kind and given them a ride to the airport. Sousuke had to sneak through all sorts of security to keep his weapons on him. Sousuke and Kaname boarded the plane. It was the fastest plane he could get. He was planning on taking advantage of being dead. At least that's what some people thought.

Kaname pulled a CD player from her bag. She gave Sousuke an earpiece while she used the other. She put on a song then rested her head on his shoulder. Sousuke rested back as they waited for the plane to take off. He had gotten through the simpler part this. He still had much more to do. But he could do it because she believed in him. He rested his head on hers.
